Why God does not exist, in one sentence.

"god does not exist because ____ happened"

udk what he HAS stopped from happening so...

The Universe is as God made it, but it now runs under the laws of nature He ascribed, without constant interference.

What God seeks to change now is us, and how we react to the trials we all face in the existence He has given us. How do we help our fellow man when hard times come? Do we live out the beliefs we say we hold?

Are we willing to give all in the defense of our beliefs and loved ones?

Now, can God change things if He wants too? Of course, or else He is not God. But without experiencing pain/loss/suffering how can we fully understand and appreciate love/happiness/mercy?

in nature there has never been an instance of something happeneing from nothing, something always causes something else, so in that snese i guess it had to be god that was the catalyst for existence

Society on the whole is completely fucked soley because of the absence of God. As the number of people that discover the truth rise, the people living in ignorance will decline. PureEvil, the most "fucked" examples of societies are those who were ruled by "God", ie. the middle ages and sharia-law nations. I know that's not your (or many's) view of god, but that's why you can't make such a blanket statement that societies are fucked because of a lack of god. Again and again we've tried to rule by god, and every time it destroyed cultures.

It is not necessary to call an ideal, philosophy, or state of mind "God" for it to work out. It saddens me that so many believe that without god, you can't have spirituality or enlightened thinking.

God does not exist because his benevolence and omnipotence are compatible because if it were true, his love for us would fore him to use his power to make the world a peaceul place.
