Wow, you might be a little disappointed with some of the yield/problems but just the look of those fat nugs makes my mouth water. Though you probably didn't yield as much as you expected it looks like you have done an amazing job on your first grow. I know some growers who have been growing for years and still seem to nutrient lock their plants or let them die of infestation. This is a mighty fine grow you've got and i hope you keep it up to see what you can do with more time and practice.
First of all growing indoors.....is way harder than growing outdoors...my experience is with outdoor grows....I moved indoors...to get 6 harvests a year...and to stop from being ripped off....I know lots of outdoor grows that got ripped off this year, that being said....I really enjoy indoor growing.
Man...that...light problem was hard to overcome....It's behind me now...but put me back over a month.
Crop A still continues....still to harvest...2 Afgoo, 6 Purple Berry Kush.
Looks like next weekend and most will be done
Crop B Flowering....1 harvested yesterday...the grand daddy Purple....Still to harvest 4 blue dream, 7 Black Berry Kush. they look like 14 to 21 days till done.
Crop C Flowering.....Kypronite, Purple Dragon, NY Diesel, and 2 Very Nice Grand Daddy Purple's....that are budding nicely. These have about 5 weeks to go.
The most enjoyable part of growing is taking the pictures of those beautiful tricomes...and beautiful colors...then of course using the medication....is best to both at the same time:pimp:
least enjoyable is trimming.....that takes a ton of time....
Next up.....is Crop D......SOG.........I have been making the clones for about a month....It will be interesting....they are vegging right now are about 8" to 10" high....and I will flip them some time this week....I am just not ready...as of yet....as they are in 1 gal containers...and need to be transplanted...I am going to use 3 gal grow bags.
I know this grow was not to the standards of many experts on here...but
I believe it was a pretty good success....
It would be nice to some type of a rating....
I'm looking forward to the SOG grow, Should be interesting to watch. :pimp:
Harvest of grand Daddy Purple, was completed, dried, and now is curing in jars....pretty small plant...but....3 nice ounces of excellent smelling, and beautiful looking bud....this strain would be perfect for a SOG....I only wish I had 40 clones to try it.....I will tell you it is a very hard strain to clone....I am only having about a 30% success rate cloning then on my machine. Romulan on the other hand I have 99% success rate on the same machine.
Also, harvested 3 more purple berry kush, which are drying....they will yield small like the rest of the small ones...in the 2 to 3 ounce range. this weekend some large plants will be harvested with real good yields, as the bud are nice, big and very dense.
Any pics of the GDP?
My GDP was pretty easy to clone, but picky to grow and hermie prone. I'm working one of the seeds now,.. if it goes herm it dies. I have more.
Any Updates on the SOG? those girls have got to be getting close to flower! :hippy:
A very nice Purple Berry Kush....some serious dense Colas

Kill them fuckin bugs that I keep seeing in the pics,... and If I'm seeing imaginary bugs,... fuckin kill them too!!!!! (keep swinging till LONG after you think the bugs are dead! )
Your well set up and well on your way to some seriously awesome harvests! :rastasmoke:
Keep em coming!
Update on the SOG grow? :hippy:
I will Harvest the last of the plants that got totally messed up because of the light intruption issue.
Harvest will include:
2 afgoo huge plants....the buds are huge, but not real hard but trichomes are ready
6 Purple berry Kush.....3 are excellent huge colas....3 are pretty airy...I just do not see them getting any better and it's time to move on.
Just my estimate of the 19 plants and based on the weight I have achieved so far after drying and curing..are as follows:
5 Purple Berry Kush which were just very dissapointing all averaged 2 to 3 ounces per plant.
3 Purple Berry kush which were excellent averaged 7 to 10 ounces.
2 Space queen which were dissapointing averaged 2 to 3 ounces per plant.
1 Grand Daddy Purple was very nice...but a small plant that produced 3 ounces per plant.
So lets just do a quick estimate....and get this log over.
GDP(1) = 3 ounces
PBK(3) good ones = 24 ounces ( using 8 ounces)
PBK(5) below average = 12 (using 2.5 ounce avarage)
SQ (2) below average = 4
Estimate of the 8 plants left:
2 Afgoo should be around 6 ounces each = 12
3 PBK Good ones = 24
3 PBK below average = 12
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Total 19 plants = 91 ounces (5.68 pound)
2548 grams divided by 6000 watts is very dismal....:(...only.42 grams per watt).....that is most likely considered a failure.
Hopefully someone will read this complete log and learn from my mistakes.
I did talk to the breeder for the Purple Berry Kush yesterday and talked about the failed plants....he said that in those clones there was an excellent pheno plant and that was probally the 6 good plants I got, but there was some super failure plants and the other clones were most likely those. :) As they had the same problem at other grows.
That made me feel slightly better.....because I thought i thought It was just me....and I sucked big time on those plants.....I kept the three good plants...and they are re-vegging right now for clones.....I know what to expect from those plants.
By the way I have changed my mind on the SOG and location.....I thought it over and it just does not make sense in that location....I am keeping my veg area in tack.....But I have a plan....See my next grow log for the plan.
thanks to everyone for all the help.
