okay, i just got finished flushing the ladies out! they should have some clean colons, er, capillaries! two of them are so green that they are almost blue! what the hell?! where is all of this N coming from? i have been using superthrive. maybe that's the problem. i know i read somewhere not to use it during flower. any ideas?
the flower nutes i have are 12-55-6. i'm getting some new ones for the next go round!
okay, i'm off house hunting. i'll be checking back later.

Is your name from a fishing term? <G>
I likr your grow log, so far. Don't worry about the nute change until you cure the bud. A little life left in the leaves at harvest may not necessarily be a bag thing. Keep up the fine work, Bub.

i appreciate the kind words! thank you. i've learned so much including that i like growing things, not just cannabis, patience, and maybe something i would like to dedicate my life to!
and as far as the name, no it's not from a fishing term. i make music. i do hip-hop (don't think the crap you here on the radio, think make the world a better place, real hip-hop) and it's a name i came up with. you might shake your head like "what the hell is he talking about" (some of my lyrics are out there, make ya think type stuff) or you might be like "damn, that boy is a fool with it".....but either way you are gonna be shaking your damn head!
i appreciate the feedback!

thanks lola! i'm still a little upset about the ladies, but live and learn.
sorry shovel! let's just put it like this, some of my lyrics are intense as far as the amount of information deliverd so you might not understand, so you shake your head.
but once you understand me (as far as the music is concerned) you would appreciate the music like "man he makes original, good music, what music is supposed to be, but it is still bleeding edge!" and you shake your head.
either way, it could be in combination, but either way, you are gonna shake your head.
shake ya head, aka headshake,

Headshake, i had trouble with one of my 2 ladies here. Always fed them equally, but one of them ingested too much! Big Bud chemical was too much for one!
See the damages for yourself on my grow log!
Flushed it real good 2½ week ago and she's fine! Lost a lot of leaves but she's tough!
So don't bother with yours man, They will be OK in a few days! Keep watering them only with water!...and a bit of love!:hippy:

yield - chop the top 1/3 of all plants and bud for another 4-5 weeks to let lower colas develop
potency - let them all go another 2-3 weeks. best piece of advice i've heard in awhile is, "when you think they're ready to chop, wait 5 days." you could also combine this waiting with the "best for yield" technique, above
i've never used molasses before, as i jumped balls in to hydro for my first grow. never hear people stop talking about it though. i don't think it provides anything but sugars that the plant can use immediately. no NPK value to it, just a boost of carbohydrates for the plant. so it couldn't hurt to do maybe a week's watering with molasses, then flush another week before harvest.
i've been early-morning drinking, so apologies if the above made no sense.

i totally missed this post! what the hell?
i think i will just let them run another 2 or so weeks. i wanna put the youngsters in flower in a sea of green-esque setup. i just want to see what each type of method will accomplish.
i swear (i'm still figuring out this microscope!) that the heads of the trichs are starting to turn amber.
and i've got a few pics.

pic 1-3- i hope these are just calyx's that are starting to swell and not anything undesirable!?

ha ha! you must've been early morning drinking too!
i wouldn't doubt that the trichs are starting the change from milky to clear. i don't see many sparkly trichs there.
keep up the good work, 'shake!

i might have been gg! i for sure was blazed though!
not a whole lot to report. i did get some molasses that i'm about to hit the ladies with. it was a whopping $2.50 at walmart.
i was checking out some nutes online. i think i'm gonna get some for my bday. i've been checking out the fox farm soil trio and the technaflora bcuzz line. they have the b'cuzz sample starter pack for $30. it comes with:
b.c. grow (500mL)
b.c. bloom (500mL)
b.c. boost (500mL)
rootech cloning gel (7g)
thrive alive b-1 red (125mL)
thrive alive b-1 green (125mL)
awesome blossoms (125mL)
magical (125mL)
sugardaddy (250mL)
root 66 (250mL)
the other package i've been looking at are the fox farms soil trio. it was the quart(s)/946.35mL(each) package. it has:
grow big
big bloom
tiger bloom
any thoughts, ideas, or other options for this price range?
thanks guys and gals!
