Shes still going.
Wow, this is a pretty long grow, Miley. You did well waiting this plant out. (almost 3-1/2 months of flowering!) I will be curious as to how you like the smoke. BTW, are you that cat in the avatar?
Shov
Hey Shov your right about this being a long grow and that is definately a downfall of growing with just flouro's. May's gonna be harvested soon but June will definately push on for a while longer. As well as the Papaya and the Skunk x Haze plants I've got going. The smoke from candice is great and all my friends keep asking me who I get it from so they can get it. I havent told them about my grow and dont intend too. As far as they know I get it from "some guy in town". They have smoked it with me though and loved it. And yes I am the cat in the avatar. lol. Do you know how hard it is to grow weed without thumbs? lol.
My present grow, http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/...tmas-grow.html is also all flourescent lighting. 394 watts of warm white. I expect that at eight weeks most will show some cloudy tricomes. I plan to pull one or two of the more mature plants at this point. The other six plants I plan to let go until they show aproximately 25% red and 75% cloudy. I hope it won't take but 10-12 weeks of 12/12 total.
At what point will you harvest your plants, and do you use the tricome color to determine this?
Thanks,
Sho
LOL cats 'n' weed aye used to have a cat that loved rolling in the weed. Whenever I got a delivery I had to lock him out the house till I sorted it unless I wanted an indica x cathair, he also loved the exhaust of bong hits would probably have sucked one up himself if he could have covered the carb hole.
Also had a kitten I chased all around an apartment building with an 1/8 of black hash proudly sticking out of its mouth. The wee thing thought it was a game & it was quite funny.
Hey Shov. I checked out you grow again and its looking awesome. As far as harvesting goes my first 2 plants were harvested a few weeks earlier then I wanted to because of lack of space in my grow room. I have a 30x loupe but its really hard to see the difference between clear and cloudy trics so i've been going by the pistil color and by how the plants are doing. The one thing I could see with the loupe was when the thc was starting to show signs of degradation. This is when the fully form tric starts to lean over. Just before turning amber.
Hey Jack.
Cats are pretty awesome but can be a big pain in the ass as well. Depending on how many ya got. I give my cats my male plants and leaves I get off the females. They love it. Though most dont like pot smoke blown in their face a few dont mind it and get stoned with me. lol. I have one that when it was a kitten it liked to hide in my open dresser drawer. So I blew a big bong hit in the drawer and shut it with him in there for a bit. He came out ran around like crazy for like 15 mins then passed out in the corner it was hilarious.
UR buds look killer.
Hi Miley hope those buds are doing well. Bit of a delay finding it but was holding of replying till I found the pic of Woody aka Woodstock having his share of a bong hit. His favourite sleeping place was my guitar cases. The pic has survived a couple of decades odd & several moves which looks like water damage, should still be able to make out the smoke.
There is an article in the December 2007 issue of High Times about getting pets stoned, worth a look for the photo's alone.
And one stoned ass cat.Quote:
