NIN- the hand that feeds, you can tell I ain't been smokin :(
bone thugs and harmony
Good cd for when high is Muggs: Dust, quite chilled, interesting, deep soundscape, hit a bong lay back and listen..... man wish I had some weed :( and didn't have the flu
anyone heard of "long Beach dub all stars"? they have a totally unique sound, but closest to Sublime...right now im infatuated w/ the song called "daybreak"
"so what u gunna do when the sun wont shine?
what u gunna do when the words dont rhyme?
one runs one hides one throws a little fit
one like a coward takes a knife to his wrist
but another brushes away his strife
jah come to him with a new approach to life
he can laugh he can sing he can make his life a dream
no matter how oppressed he will always be free"
yea Long Beach Dub All-Stars were the surviving memebers of sublime along with some other collaberators. they played shows with Barrington Levy and Half Pint and Tippa Irie. they split up in 2003 into 2 bands Long Beach Shortbus who i just saw in concert and DubCat Eric Bass from sublime plays bass in Long Beach Shortbus. bud gaugh from sublime was playing drums for them but he left to start a different project. they are pretty good theyll never be as good as they were with Sublime but its still some of the best Dub Style u will find.Quote:
