I'm glad i live in a country that doesn't use choppers to bust people growing plants.... i mean fuck use your resources to catch murders and rapists, not farmers!
Anyways post some pics please :D
Peace :rastasmoke:
week 2! :)
some more! :)
These are the twisted blueberry. Theyâ??ve all been under the same conditions yet these seedlings have grown to be deformed.
What do you think kp? Is this the trait? Because if its not iv gotta say the germination rate of the seeds isnâ??t to high.
Just thought id post some pics of my aeration system. :)
one large plastic box with some rubber pipe with holes made down the length of the line. then one small air pump with in the grow room that supplies warm air there for saving the need to buy a heating element.
Other pic early skunk just under 3 weeks in.
What's the gph on that pump Tom, and how many plants are you going to "hook up" to that, so to speak?
Hey green jeans! :)
Here’s the link to the pump info. Hydroponics water pumps, timers, heaters & filters
the lhr is 140 it that helps.
the tank holds about 54 liters - i just add everything the plants need nutrients etc.. as use a measuring jug to feed each plant.
Then il top up every so often making sure to check ph, ec etc.. regularly.
Every few weeks its wise to clean out the tub and not for getting to change over when ever your putting plants in to flower!
the water will always be well aerated and wont go stagnant due to the movement of the water! :)
you can use this with as many plants as you like but there more you have the more top-ups the tub will need. This method just saves time messing with small amounts of feed. theres less change of making a mistake and its easier to monitor and will be at the correct temp! :)
Derrrrr, I forgot you were across the pond:) Liters per hour, thank you;)
Much obliged for all the info. I'm a soil girl right now, but someday I'd like to try hydro.
im growing in soil 2 :) that setup is for soil.
tom, that is indeed, the quirky blueberry trait. don't worry, the strain is a little slow to take off, but in a week or two, when feeding begins, they'll take off.Quote:

just another bb tip for ya ;)
btw, nifty little setup you got there... tell me more about your lack of need to heat the res... i'd love to know; i can't get mine to stay above 58f...
aha! thank you kindprincess! Uv made my day! :D iv been wanting to know if that was what u suggested all week! :) thanks.
grr it bugs me! im a perfectionist when it comes down to anything! been trying to figure out what the hell i did to the poor beggars! lol
i just put the air pump next to the heater in the grow room. so it pumps warm bubbles through out the hole tank :) id say its more efficient than a heating element..
plus it saves on another 150, 200 watts lol.
hmmm, not an option for me... my heaters are 1500w.
oh wait, i can use ballast heat. hey, great idea tom, i'm going to fix it up today. i'll just have to play with distance until i get the desired temp.
lol, i hear you on perfection; but with bb, perfection comes from asymetry :D
also keep in mind; blueberry is only a mediocre yeild strain. to acheive full potential, you must top at least once; i wait for ten nodes, top, wait a week, then flower.
Oh. My god I am slow this morning. So that's basically just a reservoir for your water? I used to keep an aerated res, but I didn't need that much water at once,(only two plants) so I used the bucket for some other crafty project.
yeah, i know... you don't even have your im on yet :pQuote:

topping works better with bb, scrog and lst are rather dissapointing with this strain; if the top is not removed, it remains dominant, and the lat branches stay tiny
arr! iv learnt something new today! :D looks like il top then! :) iv been trying to find out what works best but iv hurd mixed reports. iv also hurd that bb is very sensitive to over feeding? have u any pics of ur blueberry kp? please feel free to post them here :)
This should be an awesome grow.
It looks so professional!
Are you in the states? (should I ask?...couldn't really hurt anything right?)
i have loads and loads of pix, i just have to figure out what the dog did with my memory cards. topping is best for bb, though that's not the case with other strains. it's realy dependent on the plant, but greg green specifically mentions topping the blueberry. i topped many times, and compared to topped once, untopped, and scrogged. multitop yeiled almost three ounces under twenty flourecents, the rest lagged bad. averaging an ounce a plant.Quote:

also, keep strong in mind the fact that bb's are EXTREMELY sucseptable to spider mites, more so than any plant i've ever seen. routine pest control is an absolute must.
let me try to find some pixies...
nah uk here ate :)
nice grow you've got going man! I'd love to have a shed out back...almost as much as I would like to have a full basement.. :greenthumb:
tell me more about your lookouts I am just intrigued by that little tid bit. Are they on watch 24/7? What incentives do they recieve? Are they fucking huge monsters of men haha.
Thanks, i love how organized and neat your growroom is, will follow.
Week 3! Transplant to bigger pots as you can see.. also one blueberry fighting to get its leaves sorted before i get any more impatient :D 1 Blueberry abiding buy the rules! ;) and 1 flowering chillie!
pix pleez
lol. dar we GoO
looking good tom, keep it up. when are you flowering?
