I use a TDS meter...same deal as the EC. I use GH 3 part in 0-1-2 with 1=8ml per gallon.

Hey Cyc, how's the cultivation game? How much are you looking to yield vs time? I think if I was smoking all the time it would still take me about 2 months to run through a Z...I was also wonderin the difference of yield and potency from seed to clone...I mean if seeds are 2x as strong with 2x the yield it would be like 4x the amount of smoke but if it's maybe 1.5x and 1.5x it's probably just worth it to go from clone because of the speed...with good stuff how much do you end up having to smoke at a time to get buzzed?

Tomas I'm using a hanna meter and I know that my plants have definately looked better since I've been using that as opposed to the drop tester

Its not even close to 2x the yield with seed...its much more subtle. The potency will remain the same. Yield, pest resistance and general vigor is what you will see increase from seed vs clone. You may see an increase in potency from clones since the plant is much more mature.

The time saved with clone is worth it by far...If i had a bunch of feminized seeds I would use those and pick the best of the best for mothers if I wanted to clone down the road. Plus I would get some males...1 or 2 would be good. I dont think pollen is sold anywhere..that would be a great idea and save much work if someone sold pollen, at the Co-ops and such.

This crop looks to be lighter than the last which was a QP...the buds are not nearly as big but they are very dense and better than my WW grow.

I run through a Z in 1 month, thats smoking a little everyday.

Your grow is very tasty looking , dont forget to do a nice smoke report with dry weight bro!

Well here is the product of my work....1150g wet weight, so I think I will hit about a HP dry or a tiny bit short since they aren't fully manicured.

Smoke report is as follows

Amazingly smooth....even when oven quick dried. GG is a grand daddy purple X OG kush. High is really nice...doesn't hit like 100lbs on your chest very mellow yet potent. You can see the hints of purple, it would have been more drastic but some circumstances didn't allow me to go any longer.

Trics are 5% amber 95% cloudy, makes your eyes really heavy. Very light fruity kinda taste.

My cat enjoyed the harvest as well.

simply beautiful harvest ya got there cyc getting a hp off a 400w light is just amazing...I mean that's a z per 50w How tall were they at the end?

I'm still hoping for a z total by the end but only time will tell...enjoy that herb and keep up the good work

Yep LWs 3 part....I think I can do some tweaking to it though, I guess every plant will have slightly different nute needs.....I think some more grow would work better for me.

So final yield was 5 OZs....not quite my goal of 1/2 HP.

5 oz is good homie. one ounce at a time g money - thats how we do huh?

as far as the 5 oz. are concerned...decent yield....cant complain about 5 oz of the good shit...but personally im trying to maximize each yield per plant...im using a dwc system. one plant per bucket...and am hoping to one day soon come on here and show you all (especially crispi) a multiple pound harvest...somewhere in between 3.5 and 5lbs...IT CAN BE DONE!!!!

Wow nice run you did there. Anyone know which clubs are holding the GG cutting? I know in SB they have the GG meds that are outstanding in color and medical benfits but no cuttings of it. Peace!!

Adding the extra watttage will definately get you more weight and tighter budz, I run 5600 watts on four bushes, never got less than 1.5 poounds of any strain yet, well wait thats a lie I did get only 10.5 zips off a 30 inch frostbite bush, Add the light if you have it, I would put each light a little off to the side of each plant and they will blend in the middle, gets the outside a bit better IMO
