We have salt-water beaches, all kinds of ethnic foods, art, 400 years of history and other culture. We're close to Manhattan - which we refer to as the "City".
I'm planning to go to Manhattan and shoot some pictures of the holiday displays from Macy's, Lord & Taylor's, and other good spots, and post them here. Macy's display, on 34th Street, is awesome this year - I saw it yesterday.

Hell yeah! My hometown put a McD's right out of business too, while the hole-in-the wall yoghurt shop on one side and the gourmet pizza by the slice place on the other side consistently have lines out the door! Hell yeah.

I lived in Chicago(actually Naperville) for a few years when I was 17-19. Two things I really miss is the Pizza and Italian Beef. We've got a place out here in the Silicon Valley called Pizza Chicago that was supposedly started by a couple guys who were originally from Gino's East. Still, it's not quite the same. And forget about finding a good Italian Beef.

Silicon Valley? Yeah, you are a little bit far, but if you ever find yourself in Orange County, you can find a Portillo's there where you would be able to get an authentic Italian beef. I think it's in Anaheim or somewhere near Disney. YUM!!

Also: both Portillo's and Giordano's offer FedEx shipping of their food now!
www.portillos.com
www.giordanos.com
check it out! It's costly, but worth it for some!

Many of the Italian gourmet Salumerias here have delicous home-cooked beef. At $3.50 a half lb., it's a bargain.
The pizza (which I can't eat)- Fuhgetaboutit!

our pot laws up here are so fuckin liberal, just the other day in town at the mall a cop was going thru a car pulled out a few big bags of pot, after checking the person out with their med card, he gave the pot back and everybody went on their own way.

Boston is where it's at, man. I fuckin love this city. Im actually right outside the city, walking distance to the T. Some of the coolest bars ever, the best music scene you're gonna find just about anywhere. This place has so much history and culture, you cant walk anywhere without finding some sort of historical landmark, or famous bar, or just plain beatiful architechture. Im close to some really nice beaches and within an hour drive of some world class snowboarding. And also my beloved Red Sox and Bruins and Patriots are here.

This place is called Beachy Head and it is probably the number one suicide spot in the world.
Some guy came from America to leap off it and another guy got on a ferry from France , took a taxi to it , paid the taxi and jumped ?? Mad fuckers.

Columbus, Ohio baby home of the #1 team in the country in football and soon to be in basketball again. I go to Ohio State, I live on campus, and the only thing I would change is that fuckin' dusting of snow we got last night when I was coming out of the bars.

I'm from PA ! whats unique about where i live is that Zippo lighters are made about twenty miles from me, Ka-Bar knives are also made about thirty miles away. Straub beer is made a little south of my town. I live on the outskirts of the allegany national forest, which means great hunting, and numerous people grow their own dope. PA rocks the casbah!!

Pittsburgh, PA the name Pittsburgh is unique in that it is one of very few cities that spells Burg (burgh). it's ranked 26 in most livable cities in the world. An ass load of amazing football players were born here ex. joe montana, dan marino, joe namath, tony dorsett, lou holtz, ty law. and most people here say 'yinz' a short way of saying "you guys".

Well, I live in Bussey, IA..we just lost a couple of old people..but I think the population is still somewhere around 55.
Good things about my town:
1.No Police
2.No Fast food restaraunts
3.No stoplights, no traffic
4.The river, catfish, and bonfire parties
5.There's this little mom and pop general store called Katy Dids..and you can just walk in there and get whatever you want and the owner will write it down on a little peice of paper and keep you a tab to pay later
6. A dinner every sunday with all the trimmins
7. But above all I like to take a drive during the summer, and go drive out on the gravel roads with a big fat doobie and go out where there's nothin but corn and drive around and get high. ;)
I could go on and on..but I'd probrably incriminate myself into sounding even more bodunk..but anyways...life here is good :)
