I take it you've never freesolo'ed huh? eh. Regardless, there are multiple ways to face death that don't involve oppressing dark skinned people.Quote:

dude, once again, there is a whole seperate section for politics, go there and start your own thread, dont think your post is relevant coz u use the word death in it, and once again, unless you were in the mid east, or actually have a very close family member living in the mid east, you know absolutely nothing about what is going on there, it is easy to watch the news and read bullshit online while your safe in your little bubble,Quote:

When I said nothingness is nothingness I meant nothingness doesn't exist because we don't know it doesn't exist. We're cut off from reality so feelings like fear and concern doesn't exist anymore. So what is there to worry about when you won't even feel the normal emotions we do when we're alive and breathing?Quote:

Theres nothing to be scared of when even the emotion of fear doesn't exist when you're dead lol. I dunno, I guess the fact of being totally disconnected from reality in all ways possible makes death less scarier. I mean the only way we can feel fear is if we are conscious. How do you feel this if you're gone? That's why it's not so scary or hard to believe that when you die nothing else comes after. If you don't know what after is how can you be afraid of it? The only reason death is scary to most, I believe is because they are so attached to reality. That's probably why tripping is so...scary, losing touch with reality and going to another place so to speak. Just let go and accept it :D.
I think fearng death is like fearing yourself. As long as you're alive you'll always be there, so why get worked up over it. It's like a journey into the unknown.
I have alot of fun with journeys into the unkown.
"When you die, the pain's over."
you know what i dont get? people that say "life is short" life is not short, its the longest thing you will ever experience personally
But it goes by quickQuote:

i know in the grand scheme of things life in inconsequential but life is the longest thing that we will personally ever expirience
I think people say life is short because when you really take the time to honestly look at where you're at you will think..damn, where did that time go? I mean I can remember some shit as if it was yesterday and I thought some good times would never end. But these past years seem to have went by so fast.Quote:

But death is not an experience if you have no conciousness of it.
That's where the arguements start as far as what happens after death . .
For all we know, we could very well be aware of what's going on. We need body and soul to live, but maybe when we die, our body is the only thing that goes away, leaving our soul to roam, still aware.
Everything's an experience anyways. ~
Resinate, your second post says it all , LoL I love it man.. But.. I believe in a higher being for sure, mother nature if anything. But the fact is ,like you said, all the references you hear about death, and heaven ,and a afterlife. Science has come so far, it is just hard for me to believe, I think that you die,and thats that, lifes over, fade to black.. Stay high as hell everybody ,specially on this topic, lol . I love you all ,peace.
i dont believe in an afterlife, there is no proof of one. just my two bitsQuote:

Of course I'm fascinated by the idea of a soul, by the idea of an afterlife. I just can't let myself take that irrational leap.
