Interesting posts, I'm always the last one hitting in my group of friends too. I consider myself lucky that I can keep up with the most stuborn hard heads even with a low tolerance but it's unlucky that it takes me more weed to get off on then the average person.
Two normal sized bowls of primary would last me about 30 minutes to an hour and a half depending on external and internal stimuli.
I have a low tolerance, and yet I can keep up with my heavy stoner friends if necessary. Depending on the weed, it takes a LOT of weed to get me acting stoned; I'm one of those people who has the odd personality in my group anyway, so it's not much different, but more amplified.
My friend built a rather impressive hookah last week, and I lifted some oxygen masks from the hospital I work at, and we hooked those up to the hookah... DAMN. That was a good show!

I usually pack myself 3 or so cones and I get pretty blazed for like a good 2-3 hours.

my highs ussually only last 30-45 min, but then again I've been smoking weed almost everyday for 5 years now lol one of these days I'm takin a 3 month break, and then I'm sure my tolerance will be low as fuck again :D and plus last time I quit smoking when I was in grade 11 after 3 months my mind cleared up amazingly, it was like thinking crystal clear for once lol I want that feeling back one day even iof just for a bit lol
Edit: Oh and one more thing if ya want your high to last longer, DO NOT have munchies, it kills your head buzz! <---- I'm sure someone will say to that: "munchies don't kill your high!!" well they do for me, and I know a few other people who feel the same way!
Edit: another tip: have a drag of a cigeratte after you smoke, it increases your high!

An old high-n here . not many responses as to extending the length of your buzz / making it last longer . I've been at it for 18 yrs. -n- i try to stay away from munchies , and pop . Sugar destroys a buzz way quick for me .
Been in the same boat for years , cpl. bowls last hour or so , i dont give my brain the chance to realize i'm comin dwn though . lol . Gotta feed a buzz -n- keep it going .

I feel the strong effects for one hour but it make me feel a little bit different for a couple of hours.
The normal high is about 3 hours maybe 4...but i cna go longer i just get fucked up.
No offense rebgirl420, but FUCK MAYNARD. That guy is nothing special, i live with 2 of the biggest tool/maynard fans and they seem to think hes the best singer out there. I just dont see whats so good about him, yeah he has that one rock voice, but should a good singer not be able to sing in a different style in a satisfactory manner? I will give you this, i do like APC, but not maynard, i just like the new kinds of sounds/beats they induce into their songs. Also Danny Carey is a SICK drummer, Tools bass and electric are nothing special.Quote:

20 minutes to an hour tops, even top quality. I've been smoking everyday for about 15 years now. One thing I've noticed is if you get high and eat or smoke a cigarette after it kills the high. For me anyway. That's why I quit smoking cigs and wait until after meals to puff up.
When I am at home I smoke about 1 joint every hour if I am awake.

If you totally wana enhance your high, then orally take 300-400 mg of codiene, then an hour later smoke a few bowls, then smoke a cig.
I did that lastnight and WOW, i was so messed up, i had a great time.
