round 2: second grow [LOTS O PICS]

so im back, my plants survived while i was gone, that makes me happy. ive been reviving them the past couple days since they were near dead, they are looking A LOT better than they did and only look better every day, i have a problem now though, there is some sort of mite or something, they aren't harming the plants but they are all in my grow closet, how do i get rid of them?

one more thing, why are my plants so small? its been about a month and they are about 3-4 inches tall max, and the biggest of biggest leaves i have dont come anywhere near covering the palm of my hand... why are my plants so small? can i give em nutes now? what kind of nutes? also what size pots should i put them in, they are in 6" pots right now

i watered my plants today

i watered 4 of them with tap water

the other 2 i watered with nutes in the water

one i watered with shultz10-15-10 and the other i watered with some miracle grow plant food shit

we'll see what happens

again can anyone answer my question of why my biggest plant is still really really small for being over a month old?

why are all my plants so small after being about 5 weeks old?

is there any difference in growing from mids to a good strain?
(i have mids if u didnt already know) do i need more light?

Your lights are fine, but something is WRONG!!!! lol. Your plant looks like mine when I repotted it after being in the windowsill for three weeks, and being heavily flushed.... It had poor drainage... Are you letting them dry out completely before watering? It may be dampening off from watering too much. Or your soil could be very thick and hard to dry, therefore keeping your babies roots wet. Your temps and lights are fine. LAY off the water but when you do: Water with room temp water...and make sure the ph is okay. B

I saw you used those watering things while away......it probably made them too wet and now they have dampened off....don't water. B

ok sorry its been a while. But first your still over watering. the amount may be right but you got to let soil dry out before you water again or 95% dry.
try 1 gal pots, not 6 in. and again the only thing you use on your plants from walmart is super thive. never MG or all the other bull shit and if that is your only option and you just feel you got to grow you better dilute majorly.

oh yeah put about 2 inches of rocks, pebbles, river rock or hydroton in bottom of the 1 gal pots that will help you to stop the overwatering and it helps keep soil from blocking the drain holes. (rocks, pebbles, river rock or hydroton ) any of these will work just clean well.

if the pest look like nats use neem oil, and as far as these plants go kill and start over. even if you can bring them back they have seen alot of stress and that will raise odds of males. but dont give up.

i fixd my purple stems by adding more nitrogen.

#1 & #2 are my four mothers ( 1 white widow, 1 sour jack, and 2 northern lights)all form seed. about 37 days old the smaller are 8 days from spout and are NYCD.
#3 is 24 clones from mothers (12 WW, 6 SJ, and 6 NL)
#4 are the 8 day old NYCD
#5 is the soil i use at $25 a bag

#5 is the bottom layers of the soma box that i will be using for 15 of those 24 clones. the box is also seen in the 1st 2 pics of above

i watered my plants yesterday with shultz 10-15-10 i believe and there is already progress, i'll prob post pics when there is a huge difference, so plan on a couple days till u see anything new

also thanks for all ur great advice, im pretty sure im gonna go to the store and purchase new pots, soil, and stuff to put at the bottom of the pots soon

huge progress, i know not to put mutiple in one pot but i dont care if those die because im actually trying to grow others those im just kinda messing around with

but none the less there is huge progress, 2 of my plants now have leaves the size of my hands, i was wondering why are these leaves so big and why do they only have 3 pedals? vs a normal pot leave having 5-7 pedals?

it looks like your still over wartering a little bit.
or am i just seeing the dead leaves?.
if there dead leaves cut they off at a 45 degree angle.
they might regen?.
or it could cause stress im not to sure ask a more l337 person.

these were takin just takin, i just watered them, they are looking a little droopier because of that, i believe it's because of overwatering, the past couple times this has happened and it only lasted a couple of hours and was back to normal and grew a great amount.....

i water my plants with shultz 10-15-10 they are about 2 months old, planted around the 1st of december...

i watered with sink water at room temp with the nutes every 2-3 days

i also have a fan in the closet, i keep it on low aimed up from the plants almost all the way at the top of the closet

the temp usually stays around 80 but sometimes dips to low 70's

the humidity for the most part is 30%

since the plants have been vegging for about 2 months is it ok if i flip over to 12/12 now?

any other input please?

Hey, man. Looking better, but still seems like you have an over/under- watering problem. Those leaves are too droopy. Otherwise, they look much better! :)

i know theres a problem with the water, im not sure what it is, i dont think it matters, tell me if im wrong, but i will water them, the plants will get droopy and then a couple hours later they are perky and ready to go again, so i philosophized (haha spelled that wrong) that since they get better and actually grow even more even though they do have the droopyness for a little but, it doesnt matter since they always go back to being good, vs dieing or something

i just switched them to 12/12 so tonight will be the first 12 hour night cycle followed by a 12 hour day cycle

DO YOU THINK I SHOULD CHANGE THE LIGHT BULBS TO MY PREVIOUS ONES?

i have (4) 42watt=150 watt cfl's that put out 2600 lumens each

i also have (2) 150 watt plant lights

should i use any of those six bulbs or should i keep the cool 6500k bulbs i have on them for flowering?

also should i transplant? will it dramatically help my yield?

no one will ever guess what i just picked up right in time.... a 250 watt hps hood ballast and bulb 250 w hps for 50 bucks from a friend i set it up and its set on 12/12 i'll get pics soon

i got a 250 hps, how can i keep temp down with only fans? whats the best way to place them and so that i get circulation and coolness in my closet?

now that they are on 12/12 and have an hps do i need to water them differently? right now i water them every 2 or 3 days with shultz 10-15-10 in the water for nutes, it seems to work really good for me

do i NEED to transplant? or can i still get a fair amount of yield in the present 6" pots?

and last, what can i use to get rid of the smell thats relatively cheap?

i water them once every 2 days with shultz 10-15-10 nutes

hi azn you saved ur plants at the last moment they looked like s**t and now they look fine good job nice grow here. you are nuting them too much. use nutes only once a week or your plants will burn thats what that burn is. you got them on 12/12 right? if not get them 12/12 already :) also dont let any any any what so ever light in the room while there in the dark 12. hope to hear these are ladies and not he-ladies heheh:D

haha yeah thats the truth, ok i'll chill with the nutes lol, yeah they just started 12/12 like a week ago, im doin my best not to let light in, its a little hard though because my closet is right in the middle of the room, im going to rig something tonight to fix that though

im also going to transplant and mix in this soil my friend gave me, its just some sort of soil that when u mix with ur normal soil its suppose to give the marijuana a fruity taste... hopefully it works
