Oh come on Breuk, you can't just blame the Catholics. That's just not fair. Isn't this the basic strategy of all religions ;)Quote:

I'm speaking from personal experience but, yes, it is the only way to keep their flock. The catholic church's one true boast is "We never change".Quote:

At this time, Islam is a greater threat to the future of the human race and this planet than any other major religion or political movement, past or present.
Well, maybe not their innovation, but they certainly have perfected it.Quote:

Sounds like your in agreement with Bush that we can either fight them there.......or here. THEY strap on the suicide vests, THEY drive off in cars loaded with explosives, THEY highjack airliners.......
I don't understand the logic that acknowledges a threat but still wants to pull troops, funding from the region that this stems from. Do you want the fight to be in your own backyard instead?
Have a good one!
In politics everybodys ass is up for grabs..............DAMN BOB THE TREEHUGGER!!! LMAOQuote:

I think we're doing right in both countries........by the time it's done there will either be more or we will just be letting them get prepaired for the future. For some reason....cough, cough.......Iran comes to mind.Quote:

You say that it'll be in my backyard(besides the fact that i don't have one) but are we being invaded?
Acts of terrorism are an perverse invasion but acts of terrorism can be controlled.
The war on terror, turned to the war in iraq. Londoner's came out with a "we are not afraid" logo yet.. it's pretty apparent that many of them are.
I'm not so sure that there would be any fight in anyone's backyard.. if we simply knew what was going on in it..
But that's just me.
I am a perfect Catholic......
I havnt bee to Mass but like once in 20 years.....went every sunday when i was a kid.
I can see the bullshit in the church.
But I can see the beauty in the religon.....
If islam would just tweek there message it would be fine in about.....3 generations.....
Did Christianity go through a reformation?
Yea it was called the crusades, then the pope supported hitler...Quote:

molesting a kid is something that is serious.
u cant turn the clock back, but no amount of money is gonna fix a molested kid. its not like borrowing something breaking it and then paying back the money due. a life is something very terrible to waste. when kids are molested they will never be the same, thats the end of it.
and one more thing if they teach christian principles why would they molest kids? u would think that they knew about the bible and its teachings.
im not a Christian, but that doesn't mean i dont believe in some of the teachings and principles.
and yet, if the child molesting priests are sorry for what they've done, and do their penance, they will go to heaven. If a baby, however, who obviously has done nothing wrong, dies before being baptized, it can never go to heaven. Someone in a remote village, on the other side of the world, who has never even heard of Jesus but has devoted their life to doing good deeds, will also not go to heaven soley because they are not a Catholic (Christian). And people wonder why I don't get in line every Sunday to have the priest put the Jesus biscuit on my tongue.Quote:
