cool guys i'm back with more news and its bad and good, good part first, i'm so happy to see so many good ideas, i'm so happy, and also brings tears to my eyes, just dont give up, dont give up. this is the bad part behind the curtain lies a monster, very small and cute, to gaze upon him will make you smile so cute this monster is. for this is the monster to look out for guys for its dangerous. but anyway hope i didnt confuse anyone, lol. but yep this will bring you guys closer to the truth and also will show you who we are going to have to face if we want marijuana to be free,
http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/NWO..._Relations.htm
yeah we have to go deeper to find out the truth yep deeper its a sad world guys and gals. yep, thanks to marijuana i'm still alive, long story, i smoke and look forward for a free world
p.s. hex. shaman wonderful idea, we will soon have make a check list of these ideas and put them together and see what our weaknesses are and fix them, so we should soon have to start figuring out our weakness.
and yes i would realy want to go to heaven, there must be some nice weed there, ones that gives you wings, hmmmmm i can see it now
get the message across to every one. Dont the goverment think people who smoke pot Vote? We should get a pettition of the hundreds of thousands of people who smoke pot and also vote in the elections when they are held. Give the goverment a list of all the voters who smoke weed & tell them if it isnt leagalized all these voters that have voted for them in the past will no longer vote for them at future elections????
demonangel :rasta:
PS. There has to be3 some way. Some way we can get this legalized. Keep thinking peopple...
If any one ever gets any of this up and running it would go even further if we had celebrity support as well. We all know loads of famouse people have the same views as us when concerning weed. If any of these events are organised i think having a celebrity presence there would go a long way in our favour as well ??????

LCA= legalize cannabis asosiation
there based in the uk i sujest other people to email the as well i have invited them also to come have a read of this thread as well. Hope none of you mind as i thought some one in there organization coul if not start the ball rolling mayby they could point us in the right direction on getting started. If you allso want to email them here is one of there members email: [email protected]
Here is a copy of my email to them:
Hi there Me and a lot of other people from a lot of places arround the world have been trying to think of ways we can get a change made in the law and get cannabis legalized for once and for all. we have been discussind various thing. Like petitions, Marches and other things. We have been posting ideas on a forum thread on cannabis.com We all are totally dedicated to geting somethin started now but have no one to get the wheels in motion. I was wondering if you could take a look at the thread and think about some of the ideas that are posted on the thread every day. Things like organizing marches. I know a lot of peopl say marches dont work but were not just talking about a march in one place on a certain day and time we are talking about having a march like once every month or every 2 months in towns and citys all over the uk. Example a march in london & at the very same day and time another taking place in manchester, Birmingham and hopefully every were in the uk. Also get celebrity support. Allso petti9tions being delivered to MPS polititions all around the country not just in one place. We know that this sort of campaigne take a lot of planing but i am hoping you can share some knolege, info and even start something happening. As every one wants to see the legalization of cannabis hapopen in there lifetime. So even if you can only offer advise and or even build on some of the ideas that are being posted on the forum thread. But since you allready running a campaigne mayby you can get these thing up and running. As i know i and probally loads more people would be willing to comit time to anything that moves us just that bit closer to our goal. Please email me back with your views & please take a look on the forum at some of the ideas that have bee proposed there. Like i said to people. The goverment wont listen to the few they will only lissten to the many. i post a link to the above mentiond forum thread at the bottom of this email. I hope you will reply to this mail and hopefully we all can get something finally moving in the right direction
We need to open the goverments eyes and make them know that this is what the majority of the uk public want & we wont disapear we will just grow stronger & stronger with everytime they deny us. I and others also had the idea of a worldwide cannabis legalizeation day plas let me know your views on this as well.
Well hope to here from you soon...
demonangel
PS. Sorry i forgot the forum link., Here it is now: http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=90287

Good day to hold a world wide anual cannabis day would be the same date it was made illegal. lol.
demonangel :rasta:
I would do anything to make cannabis legal. Maybe even sacrifice my life so that future generations can toke without fear of discrimination.
Sayin you would consider taking sacraficing your life dosnt keep a positive cause. what goverment would ever even discuss a change in the law if they have people stating that they would take such a drastic action. Thats my thought on that any way.
demonangel :rasta:
produce car bumper & winmdows stickers and sell them over the net to raise funds for events and allready running legalization campaines??? Like i said keep ideas coming. The more ideas we have the more ideas will be thought of. It all will have to lead some were. Be it the legalization even the decriminalization or other. We cant give up. Giving up is for the weak. We have to be heard one day. Lets all just hope that day comes sooner than later.
demonangel :rasta:
Hi everybody
Haven't been here for a while - I am part of the UK movement The Legalise Cannabis Alliance http://www.lca-uk.org and webmaster of the Cannabis Campaigners Guide at http://www.ccguide.org.uk
The ideas and discussion here excellent - although of course a lot have been tried in the UK - but what more can we do.
We've had sticker campaigns (No Victim No Crime written around the leaf), marches (although not with everyone in suits), protests and lobbies at Parliament, letters to MP's, petitions, Smokey Bear's picnics, Turn-yourself-in Days (which i don't personally like), festivals, hemp fairs, letters to the press.
Most of that stuff we still do - now there is a petition to the Prime Minister - but only about 400 sigs in the time the Bring Back Hunting petition has about ten times more!
There's been a World-Wide Marijuana march every year for over 5 years with marches in 70 or so cities world-wide more or less on the same day.
My conclusion is that we must continue to change the monds and attitudes of the public before we have any hope to change the politicans and the law.
There's a lot of fear, a lot of ignorance and a lot of apathy out there, and soem greed - we have to show people that whether or not they are auser or know one, whether or not cannabis has helped or hindered, it would all be better off if it was legal, outlets and quality controlled, profits taxed etc, and home cultivation allowed.
For me the most cost-effective and easiest is writing letters to the press, national and local - and to the politicians - start a chat on your local paper letters page
but that doesn't mean we cannot do the other stuff too.
Alun
Hi all. I am pleased to say. After emailing the LCA yesterday i recieved a reply this morning. They said they would come take a look at this thread and would try and help if they can. I was delighted that they replied so quick. Just goes to show that were not alone. So now more than ever keep the ideas coming. Even more so now as we have there support as well. So keep on thinking.
demonangel :rasta:
After what Alun said im not so confident, he said everything has bin tried and its failed... Im still with u guys tho
high everyone
well, i got the message from demonangel from alun, it has been distributed to lca supporters.:rasta:
i worked on the exec team of the lca for 3 years so i am happy to tell you whats been happening, and how things might change in the future.
okay, first of all the LCA formed in 1999 as a POLITICAL PARTY, the LCA stood in local and general elections, and even made a party political broadcast in wales in 2005!
Over the last 7 years the LCA, as Alunb3 mentioned has been involved with a fair few rallys and events, conferences and protests, infact it would be fair to say, the LCA has been at every cannabis event in the UK, although we would never take the credit of those who organise these events, many of them individuals who just want to try and make a change. Credit must go to the organiers of the Hull Cannabis March, The London organisers, including members of the Green party and The Cannabis Trust, Weedworld Magazine for the hemp fairs past and future, CCNews (RIP, sadly missed!)plus many more individuals who have decided they wanted to make a change in the UK, i cant list them all, they might not even want me too!
So whilst the LCA was political, hundreds of letters were sent to newspapers and members of parliment, people stood in elections and we were invited to do some TV and Radio work, all great fun and all paid for out of the pockets of those involved. Protests in London and outside police stations, coffeeshops in the UK opened up, there is still a couple open i understand.... by 2004, a year after i got involved, LCA had been on Top Gear, Sky News, Newsnight, featured on the front page of the nationals, and i do not doubt for a moment that the pressure we put on the goverment started a change, which would result in downgrading cannabis.
Thats a change!!!
Of course in the last two years, since the change, the prohibitionists have been woking hard, using any and every opportunity to give cannabis a bad name, it seems as was always the case that there is some sort of media restrictions on cannabis reporting, the government who changed the law are now begining to rethink, their opinion will never change on legalising cannabis, because they have told us so.
So changes have been made to the LCA, the threat of us taking votes in election got the law changed, now we have de-registered as a political party, and hope that as a pressure group we can attract supporters from all political parties, meaning eventually the labour, conservatives and lib dems will be fighting for the cannabis legalisation cap, they know it gains votes!
We are restructuring the LCA, we want to have a serious team of dedicated workers in different fields, medical, growing, licenicing, education, recreational, coffeeshops, promotion, events etc etc.
We hope that with each team working on a specific goal we can take a plan to all of the major political parties, telling them, how to legalise cannabis, when to do it, how much it will cost, how much reveiw could be achieved, how to educate, etc etc, this is all pipeline stuff, and its hoped over the next three months some real changes and ideas will blossom.
the lca does have a website, and a forum, where members can share ideas, and find info used in past events, fliers to download, news, and press releases.
we encourage people to contact the LCA with news stories and to send us your local papers contact details, we have spokepeople and can visit meetings and events.
i am glad there are other people who want to change the law, it takes all of us to make an effort to change it, or sit on our hands and complain.
i would advise anyone who hasnt seen it to try and get a copy of Green Britain, by paul dooner, when i watched it i couldnt believe what i had been missing out on!
free the weed
elsie haze
and ps, i happen to love the london cannabis march, and i understand there is some sort of idea for having more marches next year including birmingham, i'll send more info if you want it, or when i have it!
^^^ Thats brillient and its what we are all trying to do, so if this has bin goin since 1999 how come nothing has changed AND i have never herd about it, not in paper or on tv or anything, we arnt reachin enough people. Ive informed like 60 people of cannabis and gettin legalized and most of them are 'secretly' supporting it but wont come out as they are afraid of getting caught, they cant be asked and they dont think itll happen

changes, cannabis was a class b drug in 1999, it isn't now!
coffeeshops open in the uk, they were not before!
marches through towns and cities.....
a cannabis leaf on voting cards!!!
stalls at glastonbury
stalls at the london hemp show, 2004, 2005.
granny pat has had the most coverage of recent, she has been on richard and judy, trisha and on most newspapers and news reports, thc4ms go to court NEXT monday, there is always cannabis thinbgs going on, but i think the press are banned from talking about good stuff.
go to the lca legalise cannabis alliance website and read the news section, visit the forums etc.
i have to say our biggest down fall is fear of arrest for supporting cannabis legalisation, the best idea i have come up with, was to comply a questionaire broaching a few major subjects and seeing if the press would all print it on the same day, chuck cannabis in, hope loads of readers reply, and hey presto you should get an annonymous but real perspective on how many people want weed legalised.
sadly the fact people dont want to shout about it is the other down fall, i will, none of my mates will, its a problem we face talking about a law breaking subject.
this is part and parcel of how we change things, by working out how to get support from everyone and not just the hardcore!!
Thanx 4 reasuring me on that elsie, what bout advertising or dont u have the money?

we have a donated page each issue of weedworld the uks only weed magazine, and i understand soft secrets also has an advert for us.
if you put legalise cannabis in google we come up pretty close to the top.
but heres something for you to enjoy.
put "kinokast" in the google search engine, click on 2000-2005, scroll down a few pictures and on the left you will see a link for the cannabis london march, if you click on the photo the video will download it takes a couple of moments, but it shows what has been happening with very little communication execpt the web and emails,
once upon a time in the 70's a group of well known celebs put a page advert in the independent newspaper (could be a different one, but i think the indy) requesting that cannabis was legalsied, they all signed their names at the bottom of the request, a full page! It would be good if that happened again.
i think that was done through release, a charity to do with law breaking.
there is loads of info on the net, the cannabis campaigners guide is another good info packed site,
thing is with weed, if you dont go looking its hard to discover, and its not oftern its dropped off for free on the doormat, same with news, seek and he will find!!
i promise whilst we chat there are loadsa people in the UK wishing they knew how to find out about legalising weed, if i didnt have a computer it would be hard, but once you have access to the world wide web, everythings possible.
maybe the way to encourage freinds is to hold a meeting in the local area....with some of your news about whats really going on in the UK.
The LCA even has a sponsored football team, based in Lemington Spa, The Reckheads!
I also know loads of people who smoke in secret. They say they support the cause but in my view unless you really support it openly youâ??re not supporting it at all. They are scared of getting into trouble and think if they sign petitions they will be arrested. I can understand there fear especially if there family is totally anti cannabis. But canâ??t see how police can arrest you for signing a peace of paper. Totally against freedom of speech. Like I have said before ive been smoking weed since I was 14 yrs old and am now 32 and like most long term smokers get very impatient and very astounded when we are classed in the same way as people who actually do harm to other people like murderes, rapists ect. I currently sign every legalization petition concerning cannabis that is brought to my attention. I know people who have been signing these types of petitions for many years and not one of them has ended them up arrested. Someone needs to come up with the ultimate plan. After watching a video on Google video on the history of cannabis and seeing how governments originally gained the publics vote to make it illegal through adverts and so on saying utterly stupid things like: If you smoke it you will kill people, if you smoke it u will go insane. There is many of these each one funnier than the last. Should we take the same approach advertise the real proof surrounding weed of how it does none of things the government tries to tell the public it does. Also If would it be a good idea to right or email politicians in Holland ( Amsterdam ) find info on what cannabis does for there economy, What affect on crime rate it has being. At the moment here in the UK we have a continuing over crowding in our prisons. What benefits legalization would have in this area as well as all other aspects of law & crime increases & decreases? All the info is out there itâ??s just the matter of finding it. I think I read somewhere that the Mayor of Amsterdam has actually communicated with leaders of other countries his wish it that they took a more reasonable approach to cannabis like they do in Holland Amsterdam. We need support from people like this who already know the benefits it gives. Any way I got to go my fingers are clicking and hurting now. Before I go ide like to thank everyone from the LCA who has replied and posted here since my email & hope to see more input from them. When it comes down to it were all fighting for the same thing so we need to keep things going no matter how much it seems were not doing any good. Bye for now.
demonangel :rasta:
i dont get it wiv all these petitions, complaints, marches, truth, celebs, followers and everything else thats bin put to the government y is it still illegal. Can they not take a 50 year hint? or however long its bin goin
I am starting to think that the goverment in the uk will only ever legalize it if and when we give them no other choice. I recon a newspaper vote is a good idea but finding a newspaper with the guts to publish a vote in there paper will be hard if infact they are banned from printing anything good about cannabis. What happened to freedom of the press.
demonangel2 :rasta:
tell u one gd thing, marches - smoke cannabis in puplic without gettin caught
someone write up a petition NOW whilst we are thinkin of other things so that we can get as many names as we can
Hi every one i just created a yahoo group called CANNABIS-LEGALIZATION-UK-GROUP the address is: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...TION-UK-GROUP/
i had the idea the more places people see threads, sites and anything relating to the legalization of cannabis the better for us it is. Hopefully i will get loads of members in the group. I will hopefully keep the group up to date as much as possible. Any one want to join feel free. I will be ading pot related pictures, Web links and as soon as we get a petition written up hopefully someone will post here and there. It is located in the yahoo group listings for easy access to any one to find. It would be very interesting to see how many if any people join. Also it could be a place for people to ask questions on the legalization of cannabis. Hopefully it will attract loads of people. If any one from here joins could you state your a member of this thread also so i and any moderators i appoint can keep track of new people being interested in out cause. Also any members of the LCA are also very welcome i will be posting links to the LCA site and other related sites as and when i find them. Any way hopefully see loads of new people. See ya all later.
demonangel :rasta:
I don't think I'd actually sacrifice my life; I was just very heated and emotional when I posted that, and am getting more and more frustrated about how persistently stupid governments are. It will never have to come to that, though. Don't forget, at one time it was illegal to perform gay acts. Over time most people realized that this sort of discrimination is bullshit, and the same will happen with cannabis.
cannabis=freedom i hope your right but better sooner than later. LOL ime of to sleep now. good night world. Or should i say good morning.lol.
demonangel :rasta:
yay i demonangel has taken a step forward well done :D
okay for all of you who want to sign petitions, go to www.petitionthem.com put in cannabis and sign away, also whilst you are there, put in THC4MS AND PLEASE READ THIS AND SEE HOW YOU CAN HELP!!!
hAVE JUST HEARD PLANS ARE A FOOT FOR GLOBAL CANNABIS MARCHES NEXT YEAR.
sorry about the shouting, unintentional!!
So April 20th is the day most worldwide marches happen, there should be one in London and hopefully one in Birmingham, Birmingham city council no longer requests cannabis marches apply for a licence, gosh we are just so god dammed peaceful!
If you want to be involved PM me.
About two years ago i came up with a questionaire pack. What do people think?
The pack has a questionaire and info about cannabis, the aim is you drop them through 20 doors, in resealable a4 bags, a bit like betterware, asking the people to fill in the questionaire and leave it on their doorstep on whatever day you can pick them up.
you might lose the lot, but you might get 20 back, then replace the questionaire and put them through 20 more doors, people can put their contact details in the bag if they want to help.
its small, its an individual task, but it might be a start.
and has anyone heard of LEAP - Law Enforcement Against prohibition? These are ex and present police officers who believe drugs should be legalised for better control, they have in the last two weeks begun a town tour, was on the news last week, Eddie Ellison, is an ex scotland yard, head of drugs Squad, he has supported cannabis court cases and also is willing to appear at events, an ex police chief is as good as it gets, eddie, is currently tring to gather enough evidence by visiting america, amsterdam and australia on medical cannabis supplies. so he can tell the uk goverment how medical cannabis works.
another wild plan? write to amsterdam vcoffeeshops ask them to put up legalise in uk posters, and hand out postcards with a pre written message....
"Dear Prime Minister, I am enjoying my stay in Holland and the freedom to smoke cannabis in coffeeshops without the fear of arrest, why dontt you come and visit, and change our laws!"
OR..... this ones easy.... get some LCA leaflets or make a poster for your local head shop (pipes and skins shop) and the local grow shop, plus what about local body shops and other shops selling hemp products, i notice many suntan shops use hemp creams, threaten to name and shame them, tell them if they use cannabis in their products they should be using british cannabis to save the enviroment.
i could yap all day, but i dont want to bore you...
did any of you vist the lca website or watch the video on kinokast?
there is stacks of cannabis videos on you tube too, including homer simpson getting stoned. check google video too, inspiration helps the mind work, lol
sign the petitions write letters....
tell your mates, you have been talking to someone who has been on national tv and radio and local press demanding legalisation, and even after making a complaint about police, am yet to have even a caution to my name, it shocks police when they realise a 30 year old can have no criminal convictions and support legalisation, most police actually agree with legalisation, very few enjoy busting people. But it is their job. Police have to act on public complaints, so never give reason for complaint.
if you want to protest, its your legal right, but inform the council and police of your plans, they cannot arrest you for a protest, but they can arrest for drug possesion, so you have to weigh up the day, we have protested outside downing street and one person rolled a j and got nicked, yet we went to a march in hull and the police informed everyone if they smoked they'd be nicked, 5 minutes into the march everyone smoked and no arrests, the police asked why i wasnt smoking!! They enjoy the march as they have an easy time. I dont know why they said they would arrest people, but they didnt!!!
17467 people have signed one of those petitions, dont u think thats enough? cant the government see that there are millions wantin this to happen?

did you know there are cannabis petitions on the downing street website too? sorry i dont have a link, but take a look, we're trying!
i like the look of the boston hempfest, thats one i might get to in 2007!
elsie u are reli moving this foward.
see what i just made lol

Legalize cannabis petition, will be sent to the prime minister on 15th of feb 2007
found it by searching write to the prime minister at www.altavista.com
I have signed all the petitions on the links posted. If i had a printer i would gladly print out leaflets and other thing and distribute them all around my town. But i would need loads and loads of them. Any one have a list of celebs that support the same views as us. Is so post them maybe we can start emailing them. Just think if we can get really famous people to march with with us in the next march. I am totally up for a march as long as i know when and were it is taking place. Also getting celebs on side would be good cos you never know maybe we could get them to perform for us for free as well to attract more people to our cause. Only thing is though we would have to find some were they could do this. Like a park or field we could rent from local counsels for a day.
demonangel :rasta:
PS i have been leaving links to this forum and to the LCA site every were i go while on line. Hopefully attract more people to our cause through this.
http://frankdiscussion.netfirms.com/...lebtokers.html
this is on the Frank Discussion Website, a canadian one i spotted a flag.
anyway, its a deffnate job, i wrote to a few celebs, including woody harelson, anita rodderick a few months ago, but only emailed, prehaps letters would work well.
i havent read the whole list above, but will in a bit, remember there is also, george michael, lily allens done a song about weed on her album, and so has amy winehouse, its just getting an address where their management wont file the letter in the bin nefore they get it.
we once had a document translated into brail for David Blunkett, and he never got it, even though it was sent recorded delivery, how slack is that, it cost us £80, and some secratary chucked it, without even asking if he wanted to feel it.
what a scummy man....
thats great, i really dont know how proven the downside facts are, prehaps instead of downside effects, you could replace with some "education about cannabis use" ie:Quote:

Soapbar - Just Say No to polluted hash
When it launched in June 2003, the governments new anti-drug site "Talk to Frank" claimed "Cannabis is not something that dealers mix anything with". We notice this information has been revised and Frank has now changed his mind.
The Frank website seems to be written by people with a very poor understanding of English and the Soapbar warning is a good example of this. Frank now says:
"The most unpure Cannabis is called 'soap bar'. It's contaminated with all sorts of things. This makes it cheaper but it's a false economy really as it is often harder to get stoned. Some users hate it so much they object to smoking it."
Soap Dodgers?
can't sort you out
Franks' use of the English language is suspect and can really only be explained because he's not being honest. The word "unpure" in Franks comments actually means "cut" or "polluted". This of course is a direct result of prohibition preventing proper controls and forcing the trade into the hands of organised crime. Why not tell the truth Frank?
"Unpure" Hash
UKCIA has had this page online since 2001
The government likes to warn us about the supposed dangers of cannabis, most of which are downright lies, but it keeps very quiet about one danger which is both very real and a direct result of its policies.
Because it's illegal and so often supplied by profit motivated criminal networks, cannabis - especially hash - sold in the UK is often of low quality and contains contaminants.
SOAPBAR (it's called "soap" because a 250g bar is shaped like a bar of soap) is perhaps the most common type of hash in the UK and it is often the most polluted.
Now, not all soap is bad of course, but some certainly is. At worst there may only be a tiny amount of low grade hash mixed with some very strange stuff:
Beeswax, turpentine, milk powder, ketamine, boot polish, henna, pine resin, aspirin, animal turds, ground coffee, barbiturates, glues and dyes plus carcinogenic solvents such as Toluene and Benzene
This is what happens under prohibition. If your pint down the pub contained any of these nasty things wouldn't you complain? Of course you would, well now its time to complain about polluted cannabis supplies.
DON'T SMOKE SOAP
DON'T BUY SOAP
DON'T SELL SOAP
The government is well aware of this situation and seems happy to expose the millions of cannabis users to dangers which simple quality controls could eliminate, but of course, that means accepting they're wrong and legalising cannabis.
Join us in saying "NO" to crap hash, tell your friends, tell your dealer and ask your MP why they refuse to allow quality controls for cannabis
What to do if all you can get is dodgy soap bar
Not all soap is as bad as all that though, so be choosey when buying it.
Don't buy rock-hard stuff, or samples that give off a dark acrid smoke when burned.
Cutting through a block of resin should expose a brown coloured surface (including if you have black hash) and it should fluff up when heated and be easy to powder with just a little flaming.
The smell of pure hash smoke is also very distinctive in its own right, learn what to sniff for!
To be honest, it's best to go without rather than smoke some of the really bad stuff available out there, but if you really have no choice, you can try this:
How to clean polluted hash
Well, it's not that easy, but you can try this if your stash is bad enough:
In a saucepan, boil up a small amount of water (perhaps to a depth of 2 cm or so).
Add your yucky sample of crap soap
Simmer gently and crush the hash block
The water will more than likely turn yellow, maybe due to the henna (or worse) dissolving out.
When the hash has all powdered up, drain the water off and put the remaining powder onto kitchen paper towels to dry out.
As cannabis oils are not soluble in water so the potency of what you have won't be too badly damaged and given what comes off it's said to be well worth it (although to be fair this is no way to treat good hash!). You'll also have a lot smaller stash at the end of this though. Of course, we can't promise this will always work, but UKCIA has heard of good results.
Don't just hope for a change soon, help bring it about.
The Marijuana Conspiracy - The Real Reason Hemp is Illegal
by Doug Yurchey, 2005
(Posted here by Wes Penre, June 18, 2005)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger
in the land.
-- Ezekiel 34/29
THE REAL REASON CANNABIS HAS BEEN OUTLAWED HAS NOTHING
TO DO WITH ITS EFFECTS ON THE MIND AND BODY.
MARIJUANA is DANGEROUS. Pot is NOT harmful to the human body or mind. Marijuana does NOT pose a threat to the general public. Marijuana is very much a danger to the oil companies, alcohol, tobacco industries and a large number of chemical corporations. Various big businesses, with plenty of dollars and influence, have suppressed the truth from the people.
The truth is if marijuana was utilized for its vast array of commercial products, it would create an industrial atomic bomb! Entrepreneurs have not been educated on the product potential of pot. The super rich have conspired to spread misinformation about an extremely versatile plant that, if used properly, would ruin their companies.
Where did the word 'marijuana' come from? In the mid 1930s, the M-word was created to tarnish the good image and phenomenal history of the hemp plant...as you will read. The facts cited here, with references, are generally verifiable in the Encyclopedia Britannica which was printed on hemp paper for 150 years:
* All schoolbooks were made from hemp or flax paper until the 1880s; Hemp Paper Reconsidered, Jack Frazier, 1974.
* It was LEGAL TO PAY TAXES WITH HEMP in America from 1631 until the early 1800s; LA Times, Aug. 12, 1981.
* REFUSING TO GROW HEMP in America during the 17th and 18th Centuries WAS AGAINST THE LAW! You could be jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow hemp from 1763 to 1769; Hemp in Colonial Virginia, G. M. Herdon.
* George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other founding fathers GREW HEMP; Washington and Jefferson Diaries. Jefferson smuggled hemp seeds from China to France then to America.
* Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first paper mills in America and it processed hemp. Also, the War of 1812 was fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow's export to England; Emperor Wears No Clothes, Jack Herer.
* For thousands of years, 90% of all ships' sails and rope were made from hemp. The word 'canvas' is Dutch for cannabis; Webster's New World Dictionary.
* 80% of all textiles, fabrics, clothes, linen, drapes, bed sheets, etc. were made from hemp until the 1820s with the introduction of the cotton gin.
* The first Bibles, maps, charts, Betsy Ross's flag, the first drafts of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were made from hemp; U.S. Government Archives.
* The first crop grown in many states was hemp. 1850 was a peak year for Kentucky producing 40,000 tons. Hemp was the largest cash crop until the 20th Century; State Archives.
* Oldest known records of hemp farming go back 5000 years in China, although hemp industrialization probably goes back to ancient Egypt.
* Rembrants, Gainsboroughs, Van Goghs as well as most early canvas paintings were principally painted on hemp linen.
* In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940s all paper would come from hemp and that no more trees need to be cut down. Government studies report that 1 acre of hemp equals 4.1 acres of trees. Plans were in the works to implement such programs; Department of Agriculture
* Quality paints and varnishes were made from hemp seed oil until 1937. 58,000 tons of hemp seeds were used in America for paint products in 1935; Sherman Williams Paint Co. testimony before Congress against the 1937 Marijuana Tax Act.
* Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields. The car, 'grown from the soil,' had hemp plastic panels whose impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel; Popular Mechanics, 1941.
* Hemp called 'Billion Dollar Crop.' It was the first time a cash crop had a business potential to exceed a billion dollars; Popular Mechanics, Feb., 1938.
* Mechanical Engineering Magazine (Feb. 1938) published an article entitled 'The Most Profitable and Desirable Crop that Can be Grown.' It stated that if hemp was cultivated using 20th Century technology, it would be the single largest agricultural crop in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
The following information comes directly from the United States Department of Agriculture's 1942 14-minute film encouraging and instructing 'patriotic American farmers' to grow 350,000 acres of hemp each year for the war effort:
'...(When) Grecian temples were new, hemp was already old in the service of mankind. For thousands of years, even then, this plant had been grown for cordage and cloth in China and elsewhere in the East. For centuries prior to about 1850, all the ships that sailed the western seas were rigged with hempen rope and sails. For the sailor, no less than the hangman, hemp was indispensable...
...Now with Philippine and East Indian sources of hemp in the hands of the Japanese...American hemp must meet the needs of our Army and Navy as well as of our industries...
...the Navy's rapidly dwindling reserves. When that is gone, American hemp will go on duty again; hemp for mooring ships; hemp for tow lines; hemp for tackle and gear; hemp for countless naval uses both on ship and shore. Just as in the days when Old Ironsides sailed the seas victorious with her hempen shrouds and hempen sails. Hemp for victory!'
Certified proof from the Library of Congress; found by the research of Jack Herer, refuting claims of other government agencies that the 1942 USDA film 'Hemp for Victory' did not exist.
Hemp cultivation and production do not harm the environment. The USDA Bulletin #404 concluded that hemp produces 4 times as much pulp with at least 4 to 7 times less pollution. From Popular Mechanics, Feb. 1938:
'It has a short growing season...It can be grown in any state...The long roots penetrate and break the soil to leave it in perfect condition for the next year's crop. The dense shock of leaves, 8 to 12 feet above the ground, chokes out weeds.
...hemp, this new crop can add immeasurably to American agriculture and industry.'
In the 1930s, innovations in farm machinery would have caused an industrial revolution when applied to hemp. This single resource could have created millions of new jobs generating thousands of quality products. Hemp, if not made illegal, would have brought America out of the Great Depression.
William Randolph Hearst (Citizen Kane) and the Hearst Paper Manufacturing Division of Kimberly Clark owned vast acreage of timberlands. The Hearst Company supplied most paper products. Patty Hearst's grandfather, a destroyer of nature for his own personal profit, stood to lose billions because of hemp.
In 1937, Dupont patented the processes to make plastics from oil and coal. Dupont's Annual Report urged stockholders to invest in its new petrochemical division. Synthetics such as plastics, cellophane, celluloid, methanol, nylon, rayon, Dacron, etc., could now be made from oil. Natural hemp industrialization would have ruined over 80% of Dupont's business.
THE CONSPIRACY
Andrew Mellon became Hoover's Secretary of the Treasury and Dupont's primary investor. He appointed his future nephew-in-law, Harry J. Anslinger, to head the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.
Secret meetings were held by these financial tycoons. Hemp was declared dangerous and a threat to their billion dollar enterprises. For their dynasties to remain intact, hemp had to go. These men took an obscure Mexican slang word: 'marihuana' and pushed it into the consciousness of America.
MEDIA MANIPULATION
A media blitz of 'yellow journalism' raged in the late 1920s and 1930s. Hearst's newspapers ran stories emphasizing the horrors of marihuana. The menace of marihuana made headlines. Readers learned that it was responsible for everything from car accidents to loose morality.
Films like 'Reefer Madness' (1936), 'Marihuana: Assassin of Youth' (1935) and 'Marihuana: The Devil's Weed' (1936) were propaganda designed by these industrialists to create an enemy. Their purpose was to gain public support so that anti-marihuana laws could be passed.
Examine the following quotes from 'The Burning Question' aka REEFER MADNESS:
a violent narcotic.
acts of shocking violence.
incurable insanity.
soul-destroying effects.
under the influence of the drug he killed his entire family with an ax.
more vicious, more deadly even than these soul-destroying drugs (heroin, cocaine) is the menace of marihuana!
Reefer Madness did not end with the usual 'the end.' The film concluded with these words plastered on the screen: TELL YOUR CHILDREN.
In the 1930s, people were very naive; even to the point of ignorance. The masses were like sheep waiting to be led by the few in power. They did not challenge authority. If the news was in print or on the radio, they believed it had to be true. They told their children and their children grew up to be the parents of the baby-boomers.
On April 14, 1937, the Prohibitive Marihuana Tax Law or the bill that outlawed hemp was directly brought to the House Ways and Means Committee. This committee is the only one that can introduce a bill to the House floor without it being debated by other committees. The Chairman of the Ways and Means, Robert Doughton, was a Dupont supporter. He insured that the bill would pass Congress.
Dr. James Woodward, a physician and attorney, testified too late on behalf of the American Medical Association. He told the committee that the reason the AMA had not denounced the Marihuana Tax Law sooner was that the Association had just discovered that marihuana was hemp.
Few people, at the time, realized that the deadly menace they had been reading about on Hearst's front pages was in fact passive hemp. The AMA understood cannabis to be a MEDICINE found in numerous healing products sold over the last hundred years.
In September of 1937, hemp became illegal. The most useful crop known became a drug and our planet has been suffering ever since.
Congress banned hemp because it was said to be the most violence-causing drug known. Anslinger, head of the Drug Commission for 31 years, promoted the idea that marihuana made users act extremely violent. In the 1950s, under the Communist threat of McCarthyism, Anslinger now said the exact opposite. Marijuana will pacify you so much that soldiers would not want to fight.
Today, our planet is in desperate trouble. Earth is suffocating as large tracts of rain forests disappear. Pollution, poisons and chemicals are killing people. These great problems could be reversed if we industrialized hemp. Natural biomass could provide all of the planet's energy needs that are currently supplied by fossil fuels. We have consumed 80% of our oil and gas reserves. We need a renewable resource. Hemp could be the solution to soaring gas prices.
THE WONDER PLANT
Hemp has a higher quality fiber than wood fiber. Far fewer caustic chemicals are required to make paper from hemp than from trees. Hemp paper does not turn yellow and is very durable. The plant grows quickly to maturity in a season where trees take a lifetime.
ALL PLASTIC PRODUCTS SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP SEED OIL. Hempen plastics are biodegradable! Over time, they would break down and not harm the environment. Oil-based plastics, the ones we are very familiar with, help ruin nature; they do not break down and will do great harm in the future. The process to produce the vast array of natural (hempen) plastics will not ruin the rivers as Dupont and other petrochemical companies have done. Ecology does not fit in with the plans of the Oil Industry and the political machine. Hemp products are safe and natural.
MEDICINES SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP. We should go back to the days when the AMA supported cannabis cures. 'Medical Marijuana' is given out legally to only a handful of people while the rest of us are forced into a system that relies on chemicals. Pot is only healthy for the human body.
WORLD HUNGER COULD END. A large variety of food products can be generated from hemp. The seeds contain one of the highest sources of protein in nature. ALSO: They have two essential fatty acids that clean your body of cholesterol. These essential fatty acids are not found anywhere else in nature! Consuming pot seeds is the best thing you could do for your body. Eat uncooked hemp seeds.
CLOTHES SHOULD BE MADE FROM HEMP. Hemp clothing is extremely strong and durable over time. You could hand clothing, made from pot, down to your grandchildren. Today, there are American companies that make hemp clothing; usually 50% hemp. Hemp fabrics should be everywhere. Instead, they are almost underground. Superior hemp products are not allowed to advertise on fascist television. Kentucky, once the top hemp producing state, made it ILLEGAL TO WEAR hemp clothing! Can you imagine being thrown into jail for wearing quality jeans?
The world is crazy...but that does not mean you have to join the insanity. Get together. Spread the news. Tell people, and that includes your children, the truth. Use hemp products. Eliminate the word 'marijuana.' Realize the history that created it. Make it politically incorrect to say or print the M-word. Fight against the propaganda (designed to favor the agenda of the super rich) and the bullshit. Hemp must be utilized in the future. We need a clean energy source to save our planet. INDUSTRIALIZE HEMP!
The liquor, tobacco and oil companies fund more than a million dollars a day to Partnership for a Drug-Free America and other similar agencies. We have all seen their commercials. Now, their motto is: â??It's more dangerous than we thought.â?? Lies from the powerful corporations, that began with Hearst, are still alive and well today.
The brainwashing continues. Now, the commercials say: If you buy a joint, you contribute to murders and gang wars. The latest anti-pot commercials say: If you buy a joint...you are promoting TERRORISM! The new enemy (terrorism) has paved the road to brainwash you any way THEY see fit.
There is only one enemy; the friendly people you pay your taxes to; the war-makers and nature destroyers. With your funding, they are killing the world right in front of your eyes. HALF A MILLION DEATHS EACH YEAR ARE CAUSED BY TOBACCO. HALF A MILLION DEATHS EACH YEAR ARE CAUSED BY ALCOHOL. NO ONE HAS EVER, EVER DIED FROM SMOKING POT!! In the entire history of the human race, not one death can be attributed to cannabis. Our society has outlawed grass but condones the use of the KILLERS: TOBACCO and ALCOHOL. Hemp should be declassified and placed in DRUG stores to relieve stress. Hardening and constriction of the arteries are bad; but hemp usage actually enlarges the arteries...which is a healthy condition. We have been so conditioned to think that: Smoking is harmful. That is NOT the case for passive pot.
Ingesting THC, hemp's active agent, has a positive effect; relieving asthma and glaucoma. A joint tends to alleviate the nausea caused by chemotherapy. You are able to eat on hemp. This is a healthy state of being.
{One personal note: During the pregnancy of my wife, she was having some difficulty gaining weight. We were in the hospital. A nurse called us to one side and said: â??Off the record, if you smoke pot...you'd get something called the munchies and youâ??ll gain weight.' I swear that is a true story}.
The stereotype for a pothead is similar to a drunk, bubble-brain. Yet, the truth is oneâ??s creative abilities can be enhanced under its influence. The perception of time slightly slows and one can become more sensitive. You can more appreciate all arts; be closer to nature and generally FEEL more under the influence of cannabis. It is, in fact, the exact opposite state of mind and body as the drunken state. You can be more aware with pot.
The pot plant is an ALIEN plant. There is physical evidence that cannabis is not like any other plant on this planet. One could conclude that it was brought here for the benefit of humanity. Hemp is the ONLY plant where the males appear one way and the females appear very different, physically! No one ever speaks of males and females in regard to the plant kingdom because plants do not show their sexes; except for cannabis. To determine what sex a certain, normal, Earthly plant is: You have to look internally, at its DNA. A male blade of grass (physically) looks exactly like a female blade of grass. The hemp plant has an intense sexuallity. Growers know to kill the males before they fertilize the females. Yes, folks...the most potent pot comes from 'horny females.'
The reason this amazing, very sophisticated, ET plant from the future is illegal has nothing to do with how it physically affects usâ?¦..
â?¦POT IS ILLEGAL BECAUSE BILLIONAIRES WANT TO REMAIN BILLIONAIRES!
ps: I think the word â??DRUGSâ?? should not be used as an umbrella-word that covers all chemical agents. Drugs have come to be known as something BAD. Are you aware there are LEGAL drugstores?! Yep, in every city. Unbelievable. Each so-called drug should be considered individually. Cannabis is a medicine and not a drug. We should DARE to speak the TRUTH no matter what the law is.
I emailed mps in my area last night had 2 reply s this morning both saying they did not share the same views concerning legalization. Still waiting for reply s from 5 more yet i will post if i ever get a reply.
