yeah me too. I use drum gold tobacco. Doesen't have much nicotine in it so all you can taste is the weed in your spliffs.Quote:

i put tobacco in my joint for multiple reasons
A. it buffs the jint up nice in size
B. you shouldnt bbe using so muhc tobacco that u can taste it ...if you taste the tabacco youve ruined a spliff.
C. personal prefrence

it may be jsut a me thing but ive noticed when people say theyve rolled a joint of just weed....it allways looks bumpy bent pregnant ot just plain spastic. mine allways come out perfect. and you never taste the tabacco:thumbsup:

South London, the weeds not great though its quite harsh on the throat so my mates use filters with it and you need to pack quite alot in bt it hits the spot. It got me through the drought and I'm still buying it cos I'm poor at the moment. But If I have the choice I'd pay a bit more for some good skunk anyway. If I'm getting skunk I'll normally pay £35 for a nice Q. Having said that the guy whos getting me the weed is a mate so meh.Quote:

It's a dreadful UK habit to put tobacco in a joint. I used to do it for years, but the last fifteen years or so it's been all pure. The argument about stretching weed doesn't hold water. If you are only holding a small amount just hit it in a pipe. You don't get any higher by making the smoke last longer. Put it this way. If you have a decent whisky, a single malt, would you piss in the glass to make it last longer? If the answer is no then why fuck up your weed? If you actually like to mix then fair enough, but doing it for reasons of economy doesn't make sense.
Tobacco in weed seems a waste. But I've never been a fan of blunts either which I suppose would be nearly thre same.
I think adding tobacco can help with the overall construction of a joint- IE: making it thicker, firmer, roll more easily, so if you smoke tobacco AND joints why not?

bah! machine rolled joints never burn right, they either get the runs or go out too soon, hand rolling joints is the only way to get that nice slow burn, were the cherry is never any bigger than a few milimeters
If I want a joint to be thicker I just add more weed.
I then smoke as much, or as little of the joint as I feel like.
As I said earlier, you don't piss in a good whisky just to stretch it. Nor do you take a dump on a pizza so you get more topping.
If you like the taste of tobacco with weed then fair enough. No other reason makes any sense whatsoever.
I try to have an open mind and i have tried a joint with tabacco in it.I think if you have some shwag weed then tabacco would be ok in it or a blunt to cover the taste up.Why anyone would ruin the taste of good weed by adding tabacco, i'll never understand.If you don't have enough weed to roll a joint then smoke a bowl..I have friends who like blunts and ask me to roll my stuff in it and i say hell friggin no,i'd rather roll 10 joints and smoke them with you then smoke a blunt....just my opinion
It makes it burn longer 95% weed 5% tobacco and you will have a slow burning joint. Also if the weed tastes like shit then tobacco is your friend.

I don't smoke cigs , and my weed always burns well . So I have no need to add tobacco to the joint .

Last night was my first Actual high. and the splif i shared with one of my friends was quite packed with baccy. i was expecting to cough, which i did, alot. but after the coughing i couldn't stop shaking, and i felt kinda nausious for about 20 minutes. after that it was a nice high. enjoying music more, feeling generally happier, etc.
being my first real time (both smoking and with Aunty H.C) was it an effect of the nicotine that made me shake or just some bad weed?

it was pretty fun. gonna get together with some friends this coming saturday for a proper session. one of them has a pipe. so i think i'll take some hits off that. get some of the taste without the baccy.
pure buds are the only way to go .
I like to put a thin bottom layer of baccy in the bottom of my joint papers and then weed ove the top.. it makes it easier to roll.. plus its like having a ciggerete but better...

I'm an American. I'm also a pothead and a tobacco user.
I've always thought this was a ridiculous sounding concept and up until about 2 weeks ago I never smoked marijuana mixed with tobacco.
After hearing so much about "European style" joints, I decided to give one a shot.
I twisted up a fat boy, half Stinky Pinky - half Turkish Gold cigarette tobacco.
I have to admit, it's quite enjoyable if you're a tobacco user. The smoke was a bit more harsh, but it didn't seem to affect the taste of the pot at all.
and I didn't have to light a smoke directly after finishing off the roach! :thumbsup:
