start doing alot of stuff around the house and helping out..trust me that helps...and workout or run everyday and that will show them you are still motivated and not getting lazy

Dude, I had a great idea. When you're at a party that's really boring and you just want to leave, call up your parents, and in your geekiest voice say, "um, some people are smoking marijuana here, can you come pick me up?" Then they'll totally trust you forever, man.

Parents don't really buy into the whole "it may be illegal, but it shouldn't be" thing. All they care about is that it is, in fact, illegal, and their precious little angel could get thrown in the slammer for it.

MY parents are fine with it as long as I don't do it in there house. But sometime there afraid that I will get mixed up in a bad deal or something and get shot.

I told my mum 'n' Dad that I used to smoke weed but I don't any more... that's how i can explain any peices that they find but they haven't found any yet

Due to the really lax weed laws in Canada, especially here around the capital, it's become sort of an ok thing to smoke weed. My brother and I used to always hotbox the shed in our backyard, till one day my dad came out and caught us. All I recal is him saying, "Get out of this room!" After that, I haven't heard anything else from him.

My dad used to be into experimentation when he was my age, so says my uncle. But he never talks about it. I think that part of his lie is over, although I did find rolling papers in his gig bag a few years ago.

We were in the shed again, this time me, my brother, my younger sister and her boyfriend. We hadn't even lit the bowl yet and my mother walked in. All she said was "busted." My sister got in shit since she's the favorite, but I never got talken too or anything.

Over all, my parents rules on smoking weed are pretty decent. They do not want us smoking on the property, but don't seem to have a problem if we're off the property. Since there is nothing illegal about it, they don't really have any reason to get too upset. My brother owns 3 very nice, $200+ glass bongs, and an assortment of pipes, chubblers and bowls, which he displays in his room. They're ok with him owning them, just not using them on the property.

So, when ever we want to get nice and baked, we either smoke in the shed when the parents aren't home, or go really late at night, quickly and quietly so as not to get caught. Last night we drove to a public parking lot and boxed my car up nice. Somedays we'll go to a public park, and just sit in the field with a bong on a sunny day. People don't mind since we're minding our own business and not hurting anyone, and the cops never bother us since we're not doing anything illegal, and it is public property. Although this one time my brother got caught hotboxing his friend's car in a college parking lot, private property. They were issued $70 trespassing fines and had a 1/4o and a bong confiscated.

When ever they question you about drugs act like you hate them or like you dont have much interest.

easy! if you're still in school or university make sure you get straight A's and smoke wisely.

jus dont think about that kind of stuff cuz when i think about getting caught or if my parents know then i make myself more paranoid which makes it way more obvious that i smoke

Be honest, tell them you smoke to relax. If they dont like it at first they`ll get used to it in time, if your open and grown up about it all.

Isn`t that a lot better than lying to them and hiding things. Plus you`ll be able to smoke whenever you want.:thumbsup:

figure out if ur parents'll kick u out or not if they find out.. if u think they would, just keep it a secret.. if they wont kick u out tho, just full out tell them and say u wont smoke in their house or something

thats what I did and its been working gr8, tho its annoying 2 know my parents know when I'm burnt out cuz I'm asleep on the couch..

wear a turtleneck, comb your hair nice and have nice, quiet family conversations during dinner.

you can always just get caught so much that your parents eventually realize that nothing they do will change you so they just give up on you and let you do your own thing

don't worry about how to get your parents not to think you smoke. eventually theyll find out. dont play that mindgame where you think youll never ever get caught. you will. it happens to the best of us. deal with it, remember that in 2 weeks youll be smokin a joint laughing about the whole thing, and just move on from it.

its not as big a deal as it seems getting caught. trust me!!

my dad doesnt care.. i found out he use to sell coke bak than... but i got caught last year.. sum1 snitched on me.. saying they saw me smoknig wit sum friends...my mom gave me lik a 2 hour lecture.. and my dad was lik jus be str8t up wit me, i dont care if u do it, jus dont get addicted and be good in skool, if u wanna try drugs do it in the house, i would rather have that than u doing it behind my back.. my parents r divorced, bad thing is i live with my mom whos the str8t edge one, she smelt it on me not to long ago either after i came home from a friends hosue, and shes lik i can smell it, and i jus acted stupid... she knows i do it, lik 2 days ago she even left an article about marijuana right infront of the computer screen saying the marijuana is bad lol i feel lik gettin an article saying the good shit about it...

I say either A; take a test, and come up clean so they'll lay off. Or B; just tell them you smoke, and get them to accept it (may not be possible). My parents both smoked too, so they never really cared if I did.

I'm going to try and hide my smoking from my mum, but if she does find out I will attempt to explain the truth to her.
