Im an artist when i have a soldering iron in my hand working on a amp:p
I took an art class at school and our project was to make a montage. Being the creative person I am, I took a canvas and tried to make my best impression of a Pollac painting. Then over the course of an entire weekend, I collected old polo shirts. The whole thing cost me $30. I collected about 40 of them and most of them were torn and dirty. Then I took them all and cut out all of the sewn logos. I even got a few lacoste and polo shirts. I then managed to cover the entire canvas. Now my entire pollock-esque masterpiece is covered and i dump a big spot of yellow paint then turn it into a smiley fave and write "Have a nice day" using the titles of popular magazines. I took me 2 weeks to make. I got a 74. A 74 for my beautiful message of the obsuring of true art by trivial bullshit and I get a 74. It was astheticall pleasing too. Her reason? I didnt cut out enough stuff from magazines, which was the assignment. That, and she said she didn't get it. Does anybody here get what I was getting at? I wish I had a picture of it but it's more about the concept. anybody?
heres some pictures of my art.
lol holy shit sorry theyre huge. i'll fix that next time
music has nothing to do with art, art is seen, music is heard, -and plus, everyone on here says they are an 'artist on my guitar'Quote:
I'm not a visual aritst, but I am an artist when it comes to playing guitar.
my name is rise and music is art. art is anything the mind creates that cant be confind, any thing without laws
music is art, art is a form of expression, its up to the individual how they choose to express themselves, some use canvas, some use spray cans, some use pcs, and some use guitarsQuote:

Wow, That's really good. I know this kid who was studying graphic design and started sending stuff out to be made into t'shirts and he made a shitload of money.
Hmmm, I'm studying graphic design, so where is MY shitload of money?
I've posted a few of these on here before, but I don't have a clue where. I mainly like to draw with pencils with the occasional colored pencil/marker piece of art, but over the past few months have really let my talent go to waste. I need to start drawing again. ~
I personally prefer to work in music and words. For words, which are in and of themselves, straightforward, coupled with music's abstract emotional communication, you can send a message that takes more than just the concious mind to understand.
here's a painting i did on my closet (growroom) door.
Wow, there's SO much talent on here.
Santacruz- Unbelieveable. So complicated, how do you not get all google-eyed painting that?
ItsAPlant- That drawing in the center is unbelieveable!
Yo dudes! I'm an artist too. I'm the worst kind, too: the dreaded pointless art hobbyist internet furry artist.

Plenty more on my website: Click here if you're cool.
This is great. They need to start a forum dedicated to art (painting, poetry, graphics, illustrations, etc.), and call it "Stoner Art". I know that's when i'm most inspired. But for now i say we keep this thread going, so here's some more.
only the first one is a painting, the rest i did with photoshop and image ready::rasta: :rasta:
it wasn't a serious suggestion by the way. I just think it's awesome that there are so many great artists out there. besides, i already have most my work on deviantart.:rasta: :rasta:
Well I already posted these elsewhere but I guess it's time to add them!
Im sorry I dont have any pics, but, I make many different styles and sizes of dreamcatchers. All handmade, and no two are alike. I do several craft shows and a few music festivals a year and I do pretty well selling them. I probably made at least 300 in the past year. I traded at least 100 of them for weed or whatever. Not to bad, huh?
Well hell, when I get some of my pictures scanned, I'll post them on here. I like to work in all mediums oil/watercolor/charcoal/ink/etc. but my favorite is the pencil. I also write stories and poems, and write and play music for guitar/drums/piano/violin and bass. When I'm not doing any of those things, I'm writing screenplays and acting/co-directing movies for a friend who makes short independent films, (he's in college studying to be a director/producer). I absolutely love art, music and literature.. marijuana just wouldn't be the same without them.
Ceramics is my favorite art practice. I like to create new work after getting "inspired" with one of my ceramic pipes. Its one of the most difficult mediums to work with. And it resembles poo:cool:
Ceramics is fun as hell.. I just don't have a kiln.
im a photographer i shoot a nikon D200
