I go to my daughters in Santa Clara and the heat just fucking immobilizes me.

I have a cabin in Groveland, about 7 miles west of the west entrance to Yosemite, and it was 102. I'll stay right here in the city for now. Nice, cool, and breezy.

Right on Angel. My parents use to have a house in Aptos...., about 5 or 6 miles south of Santa Cruz. I like driving down to Cambria, or San Simeon. Great antique shops down there.

Right in the middle of Texas here, nice 100 degrees give or take. I'm in the heat all day from about 6:30 am til I get off around 4 or 5 pm. I hate my job. Nothing sucks worse than mowing about 25-30 houses a day covered from head to toe in sweat, ass, and grass. Lol, I'm actually looking forward to school, it will be like an after-summer vacation. :)

last year I lived in palm springs and in the third week of august there was a day where it reached 127. i worked at a golf car service place and they sent us home very early.

80 in San Francisco today.

it is hot as a m/f here. When I left the house to go to the local pool it was 99. When I got to the pool, instead of the water being nice and cold, it was kind of warm.
About an hour later a lifeguard said it was 105 degrees with a heat index of 119. And to make sure everyone had plenty of fluids and sunscreen.
It really was ridiculously hot.. I stayed in the water the whole time, got a bit of sunburn on my face, and shoulders even though I had on SPF 25 ... Going back tomorrow. Finally supposed to cool off this weekend..:)

I simply must move to San Francisco one of these days for oh so many reasons. I love the place anyway, and the summertime temps there and in parts north must be marvelous. Actually, we're giving some serious thought to moving to the Seattle area in four years or so.

In the low 100s every day for it seems like ever. Here in KCMO

103 today. Supposed to be 108 tomorrow. Just had a short thunder with alittle rain storm. That was pretty strange for this time of the year here. Nice change though, little more humidity, but having a slight change in the weather was nice.

106 for Tulsa same or hotter tomorrow, then a cold front to bring us down to 89 for the weekend.

man it like 110 or higher everyday here fuck the desert!!!

It was hotter than two mice fucking in a wool sock here today, so I feel your pain. To hell with the sun, they make grow lights for a reason.

Grow lights don't help much when your power is off for three days, like mine just was. I resorted to using flashlights as my backup grow lights. And the temps were brutal without AC, for the plants and for me. I guess I had it easier than they did; I went to the basement and slept on the floor.

Where do you live, Jamstigator? The St. Louis area? That power outage and heat wave there made national news.

We've had a cool front here in Texas. Today it's only going to be 93 instead of 105.
