My guess is a federal pen, where you will then join the already in place federal prison work force makeing uniforms, boots, helmets, body armor, and other gear like canteens, for the armed forces.
So either way, go to war or work in a factory, but the way things are, with the GOV able to make a terrorist out of anyone protesting there policies, in the end you wont have a choice but to work for the war machine.
Granted that senario is way extreme, but, not impossible.
And if things do get that bad, then policy nightmare or not, I'm not sure we will be able to get the Bush family out of office. After all at that point anyone willing to fight them is already in a federal prison, or off shooting at other men in war.
Good points... In the end I feel a return of the draft will put everyone in a position to do something. Protest, Run, Fight, Defer, Join; point is when the draft went away so went full participation in our democratic system.Quote:

While that is what the pacifists have said about every conflict since WWII, no, that's not exactly true. It would depend on how the war was defined. A ground war with Iran would be very difficuly and the casualties would be much greater than what we've seen since Viet Nam. However, an air war, with targeted strikes, not aimed at regime change but designed to set back (completely possible) or destroy (not likely) it's nuke programs could easily be accomplished, alone or with another coalition of the willing. That said, we're not there yet. The carrot/stick package was just delivered and they have time before there's moves towards sanctions, which will take more time, etc. Meanwhile, back at the batcave, Iraqi's are being trained and taking over more responsibilty for their own security freeing up troops for other fronts on the WOT. Terrorist cells are being taken down, worldwide. I believe America will be hit again but only because we're not perfect and they only have to have one success to negate a bunch of our successes.Quote:
