I have a slight jersey accent on certian words, such as coffee, water, ect. Me and my good friend (who's a new yorker with a big new yorker accent) always compare accents so I suppose I have one. When I talk really fast or am mad I, for some reason, pick up a new yorker accent.
I wana hear sensis voice so bad

Dianne wasn't so bad though, I could understand her. It was Begbie and Sickboy that sounded like they just didn't care what they were saying.Quote:

Like, for a true deep South Louisiana born Cajun, to talk to one you literally need to know some French and Spanish, because they're dipping in and out of phrases from three different languages in some thick dialects. And it gets confusing, especially when it's a foreigner who acquired citizenship here and took on using the tongue..
Like I tried talking to a Vietnamese shrimper who had caught on to this accent. My jaw drops because he's talking so fast, and THEN he hadn't quite completely caught on to the language with some Creole-English words so he substitutes with some words in his native dialect of Vietnamese..
You couldn't understand a motherfucking word he said!
oh yeeeeeah. I kinda forgot about creole. I think creole should be its own language, that way I can learn it in school and not look so stupid next time I go to Louisiana.Quote:

I guess I speak with a slight scouse accent being as how I only live a few miles from Liverpool but its not a heavy one. I love Irish, Scottish and Welsh accents though probably because their just so different but I'm not a bit fan of the old brummie or geordie accent especially when its really broad.
How old are you Skink? i thought you were young but you sound older
Where abouts in the UK are you from?Quote:

Little place over the water from Liverpool called the Wirral, doubtb you'd have heard of it. Its the peninsula between Liverpool and Wales.
I think I quite like the Welsh accent, so long as its not just giving abuse about the English like it often is.
Sensi, I love your new avatar! That's awesome! :)
As for me, I have the Southern accent for sure. Call it a hick accent if you wish.. lol. People make fun of the way I say certain words, like 'ten'. I don't really like my accent, but everyone I meet that isn't from this area loves it.
post your accent!! :) or are me and skink the only ones?Quote:

I tried to Wesley but I dont have a microphone, that probably would have helped
Anyway, 1 Scottish accent for everyone to listen to is enough!
DR - I've decided I dont like the Welsh accent.
Yeah, but it was a manly Scottish voice! I want to hear a woman's Scottish accent.Quote:

Kush, I'm from West Virginia. (insert random hillbilly joke here)... lol. But I say 'ten' like 'tin'.. there's other words, even 'accent' is something I say with that southern drawl. :)
