and aparently I'm a complete dumbass and crotch rockets are fine for distance. go for it ;)
benagian- very good points. this wont be a daily driver just for kicks on the weekend and such.
Torog- HaHa great way to look at it. Yes, I will deffinately need some classes to be competent on this machine or one similar. the cops won't stand a chance lol. thanks for your support and Godspeed
thats an interesting link benagain. very sad aswell. I tend to agree with you on the comfort of rice rockets. the stature of a harley is much more appealing to me for any long distance trip. I dont inttend on making too many of those but I think I will deffinately take your advice on the trip through the mountains. the Great Smokey Mountains are so beautiful just like the rest of the Blue Ridge.

Thanks, thats the way I feel. You can't go around wondering about what if, just be as careful as you can be. I would never leave the house if I worried like that. If I die I just hope its quick lol. none of that hangin on for 2 weeks kinda thing or being paralyzed.Quote:

Bikers accept the risks and sensible ones reduce them as much as possible, I am not a sensible rider.Quote:

Wow, you think anyone would actually be able to ride this thing without going straight over the back?
lol i remember when they built that a few years ago. crazy. makes the bike im getting look like a moped lol.
ehh i'm not much for crotch rockets, i'm more of a dirtbike person.. if i was gonna get a crotch rocket i'd get a ducatti, but nice choice, the bike looks sweet as hell..
I was reading this news story http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/mai...cntriumf08.xml and realised I hadn't considered a Triumph , they have some wicked bikes.
http://www.triumph.co.uk/ :D ;)
lucky bastard I wish I could get on of those, Id way reather have a nice little pick-up truck though.....Toyota's are my favorite trucks
I have heard of guys who have had accidents and then had a bike made up so they can still ride,my mate told me of her one armed biker friend who I would love to meet just to see him ride.Quote:

That's very interesting. It is very fitting for someone who loves to ride motorcycles to have a hearse like that. Over here we have a TV show called Orange County Choppers. It's about a father-son team in Orange County New York that builds expensive custom made choppers style bikes.Quote:

I think that sounds like what your friends friend has except his/hers is custom fit for their particular disability.
