In all seriousness, get a gun.
Get a gun, bring it to the fight, pull it out before he gets close. There will be witnesses there. Ask him, "If I put this gun down, are you going to hit me?" If he says yes, shoot him below the waist. If he tries to press charges, he will lose.
tell him to take his shit back or just wait for when u can pay him otherwise just get a baseball bat and if he pulls a knife smash him with it.
im not sure its the same in the uk man plus i dont have enoutgh for a gun all i can get is a .22 lead pelletgun and i dont wanna look silly lol

I just love saying these and watching peoples reactions. If you go, get a gun, tell him if he comes near you in a serious threatening way you will kill him. That's what I would do, except I wouldn't tell him that. I carry a gun on a daily basis so it wouldn't be a problem. Ideally he would attack you with an object like a bat, in which case I'd lay his ass out legally, but you don't live in the U.S-so you might be in some trouble over there.

We had the "Crazy" Joe Gallo gang, the Luchese Family mob, Joe Colombo, Gotti, etc., in New York. Crazy Joe had a fucking TIGER in a cage in his Brooklyn basement, and would show it to people that owed him money. Needless to say, they paid. Most of the mobsters had "collectors" that would go around picking up "protection" money, debts owed to the loan shark operators, numbers racket tabs, etc. They'd usually persuade people to pay them by roughing them up, fracturing an arm, etc., before it came to actual killing. It's just "business" to them - sometimes they actually LIKED various people that they beat up, but it's their job. Of course, they are sociopaths and all, but I've met a few, in bars, etc., that were OK people.

The loan company will not physically attack you - they'll get a lien on your paycheck, etc. You also have the option of taking THEM to court if you feel that an injustice has been done to you. A garnishment is not even close to a prison sentence, much less a violent act.Quote:

People say all kinds of things, but rarely mean it. You don't "have" to get the whole amount - just get as much as you can. The important thing is not to let this thing escalate, because life is too short to get yourself bent out of joint over a small debt.
Even if you could beat the guy in a fight, you don't know what could come back to haunt you. What's to stop him from stabbing, or shooting, you in the back from behind? If you have to, borrow some money from somebody else ("borrow from Peter to pay Paul") and get past it.
I knew a guy that was found by the cops, about 25 years ago, beneath the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, shot dead, because he welched on debts to the wrong people. A COP was found dead in my neighborhood about 10 years ago - it was a "hit", and to the best of my knowledge, nobody was ever charged.
Don't let this thing overcome your life - it's only money, and that's nothing. Hell, if you have to just give him the stuff back, and some money for his trouble. As I said, EVERYTHING is negotiable. Why not just take the panels off the moped and when he asks for the money, say you cant afford them and give the panels back? and also say that you dont want to see him again, because he's been acting like a fucking loser. fuck the money, if you should beat him for anything, it'd be for the way he's treated you. if he nicked the bike then he can nick something else for £50.
