It's the same riddle as one my grandfather used to use. Only it's corn and not bud, and the fox doesnt eat corn, (and the riddle is impossible if the fox can eat the corn or bud or whatever).


It goes, take the chicken, go back, get the corn, when you drop the corn off, take the chicken back, drop the chicken off and take the fox, now you have the fox and the corn on the other side, with only the chicken left to take.

Take the chicken and you're done. But that's a REALLY easy riddle


1. Take chicken--------come back
2. take corn (bud)-----drop corn off
3. bring back chicken---drop off chicken
4. take fox
5. bring chicken back.

My answer..which is obviously the best : Screw the Fox and the chicken... leave them both...take the buds smoke them and enjoy your trip across the river...

I think that answer deserves a cd and music enhancements too :-p
