just got busted by parents

I was caught once when i was 14 i think. I got grounded or something for 2 weeks and i had big lecture about it. my dad actually was a huge hippy in the 60s and fucked with all sorts of shit. he said weed is a gateway drug and i shouldnt of done it. im now in college and out of the house and what he doesnt know wont hurt him lol. but i understand how its a bad situation but all this shit about trying to get ur parents to conform to what you think ( which also happens to be right) isnt going to happen. i think as long as u live under there roof u should abide by their rules no matter how stupid they seem now. just smoke outside and hide ur weed really well. And that whole spanking thing lol why dont u just man up to ur dad thats wat i did...sure i got my ass kicked but he didnt spank me ne more.

well i think there is nothing wrong with smoking pot.. i mean why did god create it and put it on the earth if it wasnt to be smoked?? stupid pot illegalizing g0-vernment

if you have all those good things going for you, then start pointing them out next time your parents give you shit about smoking weed.
it obviously has not affected you badly, you make good decisions on y our own, so they should trust that this is an acceptable risk you assume on your own that does not affect them or your life in any negative way.
They are probably more worried about what would happen if you get busted, that shit can fuck your life up. Instead of being mad at you, they might try joining norml or something...legalize is the answer.
Tell them you are thinking of moving to far off Canada where it is legal, see if they like you living in another country to live your chosen lifestyle.

then she started getting mad a week later, when she had found some baggies I had hidden from a long time ago, and she threatened to send me to boot camp... I still smoke, but I'm smarter about it.

I got busted when I was 14, but my mum never said a word. It was a look of inner laughter. I could almost see a grin on her face, lol! (I was trippin balls, though)

My mother gets more wound up about me smoking now, then when I was 14.

yo my dad used to be harsh about it, especially when he found out my older sister smoked, he was way harder on her, now when its my turn to come around and shine they dont care as much, maybe i was the accident but who gives a fuck, now he just tells me not to smoke in the house. i take it ur parents never gave u the drug talk, so instead, break out the brillo pad, spark up a bowl of crack, and when u get caught say "hey, atleast its not weed"

Mum caught me cause i used her fone to send msg's to set up a deal not realizing her fone saved sent msg's DOH wat a dumbass.

My step dad found a half ounce of hash in my pocket AFTER it had been throo the wash, smoked it anyway. Now my step dad always does all my washing incase im stupid enuf to do it again,ha,result :rasta:

Had been smoking all day, roadie at lunch, blunt before 5th hour, J before track then my buddies houses to smoke some birthday weed. Came home around 8 oclock to find my mom in my room... Guess she found my backpack with all my shit in it (not my favorite peice tho, luckily i had it on me while i was smoking all day :P) while she was looking for some shit... Got the "smoking weed is illegal" shit from her and a threat that she is debating calling the police or sending me to military school. all and all its not so bad, thank god my dad smokes mad reefer and doesn't say shit to me about it..


o yea...I had about 3/4 of an 8th in there which i found under her mattress this morning, grabbed about half of it :) All in all i only really lost 10 bux

I got busted by my mom like a month ago. I came into my house at like 2 am, high as shit, and my mom comes out of her room and says i found a cigar plastic and rolling papers in you bed. I couldn't really say nething to defend myself, so i just told her i was smoking. She was pretty pissed off at first, she stopped putting money in my account for a while, but eventually she didn't really care and just accepted it.

ha well i have a huge computer case that holds the guts to my computer that can lock well if i have my sound card near the top co i have room for 2 12 ouence can drinks a cd player then still have room for a pipe papers and weed well hade it out and that was my whole stash so guess i should just wait a while
they are starting to realize they were probally too hard on my punishment and gave me my door back since i have been so helpfull ( they said i have to earn back my stuff) so as i post at 2 46 in the morning im thinking damnit why couldnt my parents just let me toke it up they said ""acording to the bible...blah blah blah""" well i thought then why did god create it!!!??????... i think it is perfectly ok so smoke pot and i support all laws to make it legal

This shit about taking door off hinges and taking shit out your room is pretty fucked up because i could never ever picture that shit. Fuck i used to leave my bongs just lying out in my room floor nothing hidden even before i told them but i guess it all depends on the people.

My mum accepted that marijuana is less harmful than alcohol and by the age of 15 most Scottish people are drinking 2-3 nights a week. Well at least the one's i know. Its a very different culture here your expected to behave like an adult from the age of 16, where as in america you are still treated very much like a child. That was all a few years ago now.

America's social beliefs continue to amaze me and the way younger people are treated in america beggars belief. Although i suppose American younger people must behave differently if they are being treated so.

I've been caught so many times it's not funny I've actually lost count its somewhere around 12-15. I'm not very sneaky and I don't really give a fuck. The first time I got grounded for 2 months and got beat up and the 2nd was pretty chill. Thursday I got caught and I got grounded which doesn't usually happen anymore because it's not a surprise but they still get mad almost everytime. I've almost gotten them to accept it. The best thing to do is be open and ell them why you smoke (anything but "to be cool" will suprise them because they can't imagine why anyone would do it) then tell them you won't quit and if your grades aren't effectd they shouldn't really care.

what the hell were you doing ripping bong in your room, and if you were why in gods name werent you blowing it out the window, of course youre going to get caught. my mom kind of caught me and talked to me about it for a few minutes then told me to never do it in the house again. she didnt smell it or anything, but she got kind of suspicious that i would randomly be sitting in the dark in my room listening to music and like a month before my lighter had fallen out of my pocket in the chair in the living room and she found it. i didnt admit or deny anything i just kept saying ok to everything she said. i later found out that she secretly told my sister if she caught me smoking in the house again she would kick me out. not that is pretty fucking ridiculous considering she was bitching about how she couldnt trust me any more because i was smoking (other than about getting high i honestly never lied to her, and that was more of me not telling her), and she goes and does something behind my back the next day. the real kicker is she has told me she smoked and dropped acid all the time when she was a kid, and i look at her now and shes totally healthy, and then bitches at me when i do it. the real bad part is she has no problem with my sister getting into bars with a fake id, then driving home drunk with a random guy, who will fuck her in her room then make his exit around nine in the morning. and i was honestly considering telling her i smoked and im really glad i didnt, because now she realizes it is something she cant stop, all she says is dont do it in my house. had i come to her and told her she probably would have said i have depression and sent me to a pyschiatrist and tried to get me to quit smoking all together. seriously whenever something happens to anyone in our family she says its depression. anyway i was seriously so surprised at just how pissed she got, but damn talking about rehab for weed that is a fucking joke.

These parents I hear about beating up their kids PISS ME OFF:mad: . I wouldn't mind sending them to an Islamic country where drinking is a major sin, and have them get the shit beaten out of them for having a drink. Let them really feel the injustice about how unfair it is that they're getting beaten up for having a little drink.

My dad stopped the car in the middle of the freeway, got out of the car, and tried to fight me. I mean, I think your dad starting a fight with you is kinda fucked up, but for more respectable than spanking.

i would try to fight back definitely. i dont think he would ever hit me, and defnitely not for smoking. he almost caught me once too, or basically did catch me. i walked into his house pretty stoned and my stepmom immediately asks me about my eyes then i just go ah im tired. then my dad noticed i had a hole in my pants so he told me to go put on a different pair and give those to him. so i did, then he started going through the pockets and found some money in them and jokingly is like ok the next one is mine, then he started shaking them and my lighter fell out. then he goes oh been smokin some cigars, i dont think so i think you been smoking some pot, then there was about a three second pause and then he goes, not that i care. then my stepmom said well i do, then he gave her a look, smiled at me and handed me back my lighter. it was perfect.

I've had my close calls with getting caught by my parents more then a few times, but I always seemed to talk my way out of it. First time I almost got caught I was smoking in my Walk In Closet and forgot to lock the door to my room. My mother was coming up the stairs to go to bed, I heard her and remembered my door wasn't locked, I bolted up and jumped out of the closet, and she saw me jumping out of the closet right as she opened the door. She asked what I was doing and I said organizing my dirty clothes into coloreds and whites to do the laundry (It was bullshit, it was almost midnight and I of course had no plans to do laundry that night) She just said ok and good night and shut the door. Wasn't using a mojo at the time either (Toilet paper roll with dryer sheets stuffed into it) so the longer she stayed in the room the more of a chance she would have smelled pot coming from my direction. Then there was the time I smoked a bowl (in my closet) and went downstairs to get into my car and go chill at a friends house. I forgot to put cologne on or gum in my mouth and my dad said he smelled weed on my coat. I told him I had been around it, but I wasn't doing it. He asked which of my friends smoke pot and I wouldn't tell him and just left anyway, and that was the end of that. Closest call, and the most recent to me turning 18, was when my older brother (who was 24 at the time) had just picked up a half ounce of some skunk, and was breaking it up to put some of it in his hitter box while we were chillin in my room. Heard my parents come home, so I went downstairs to say hi, my brother didn't even put his weed back in the baggie, just put it on my dresser and put a shirt over it. He didn't bother to shut my door when he came downstairs. My mom went upstairs before either of us did, and smelled something that smelled like a "skunk" from the hallway and asked me what the hell it was. To save my own ass, I said it was my garbage that hadn't been taking out that must have been stinking it up and immediately took my trash out. That was the end of that. Saved my ass on that one, they would have been pissed at me for it, even if it wasn't mine because I knew what he was doing and was participating it. I still live with my parents (for another month before i move out into an apartment) and I'm almost 19. I've smoked in my room every night for the last six months, and am always high when they see me (my eyes are usually bloodshot as hell) I assume they know and don't say anything, since I'm respectful to them and keep it very low key. I think my dad is more ok with it then my mom, but either way I have done whatever the hell I've felt like since I became of age and they haven't said or done shit. I have had conversations with them on how marijuana should be legalized, so I'm pretty damn sure they know. I think all they care about right now is that I am moving in a month, so they could care less what I do with my money or my time lol.
