I'm a 16 year old male, that is slowly slipping into shamanism, and like rastakaze i am fascinated by existence and i would love to go on but it is 2:20 in the morning and my body is operating on fumes of chicken, rice, and corn eaten 9 hours ago.

Here's a great site that covers almost everything as far as shamanism goes. Also check out the link in my sig and read up on Ayahuasca, I think you'll find it inspiring.

Well, just to forwarn you do not take Ayahuasca (an integral part of south american shamanism) if you are not on a strict diet like myself or are on any anti-depressants/mood elevators. It could result in sever headaches lasting up to three days, heart palipitations, convulsions and very well death.

i would like to get into shamanism though...it amazes me, and i think it is something i may be able to do with somewhat efficiency (in all aspects). but the problem is, i have trouble staying to one act. its like im both a christian and a buddhist at the same time, all while being atheist...strange

i hate religion in all shape and form, i follow my own beliefs about life death etc. and believe religion is the cause for 90% of the wars in this world.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I was all mixed up too until I discovered shamanism. It's the only religion (and I've read about hundreds) that I could see myself getting into. And I've stuck with it for the past year

I know a shaman or two. I am a shameless pagan myself, my favorite goddess is Baubo she is the goddess of sex and belly laughs. Religion is great if you don't use it to judge folks with.

the religion is ot the cause of most of the wars

the misunderstanding of its message is the cause

i'm the guy that most people think is weird....

....not out of the ordinary, just strange....

But they are mostly the people who don't speak to me...i'm alot different to talk to...than what I look like.......if that makes any sense?

Cheers dude! Yeah I work funny shifts sometimes, plus been smoking round a t a friends house quite a bit recently, but need to get out of the habit of stting in all the time! Need to go out and meet people :)
