well lets hope the layouts fresh at least, id say a nice green background (definately not white again whatever you do) with a deeper green for posts etc.

Baked.com - When the shit hits the pan

Baked needs an Artwork gallery where people can showcase their work. Divide it into sections ex: artwork, tattoos, MacGuyver, ect. Decent size photos, if not, thumb click to full page view.

Baked is going to have a members section right? I see it like this. I have seen alot of the registered users bitching about the "UPGRADES" that you get for the price they would have to pay HERE to get them. So.. give them something extra on BAKED, so maybe they will be more willing to pay and quit complaining. Give them a "Cam Section". P2P. One step better than PM. If they have a video conference section like Yahoo! they may be happier to pay up.

Harvesthetic- logo images received ... may use them to start.

Others with some artistic talents are encouraged to post / email me logo ideas ...

Please keep the slogan suggestions coming ... perhaps Baked will have a different slogan like every month for freshly Baked goodness :)

oncea420alwaysa420- good point, and I agree - scroll back to the first message in this thread ... Baked boards will have some extra bells and whistles, likely including PM access.

PM access, IMG tag, etc at cann.com will remain restricted to members to help keep the s/n down ... allowing most everyone to use PM comes with a tradeoff - cafe members here at cann.com can be confident that PMs they receive will come in reasonable numbers, likely be spam-free, and worthwhile reading.

On an aside for those curious, email will never be offered on any marihemp network site due to technical and more importantly legal issues - lack of a free email service is no biggie these days anyways, since folks have lots of other free email choices (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc) along with zillions of different instant messagers, etc.

Anyways, please keep the slogans, logos, and suggestions coming ...

the site looks very good, but blue color is not ok (my opinion) cuz the concept is "green"
and do you think to put "market place" link? some friends can trade their stuffs (not bud ofcourse,for example "bean trade" can be very nice,some growing equipments trade,even cd,dvd,..etc
And sorry i did not read it perfectly, but the member system ok ? named cafe members or "v.i.p. baked" something,Local forums will be very ok

to be taken seriously in the medical marijuana community...
baked.com sounds like some 14 year old pot head web site..
what about something like "relief.com" "compassion.com"
just something a little more "grown-up"...just my 2 cents worth..

maybe that was/is the point of baked, I checked it out just for giggles and it does appear to be a spot (imo)
where some of the younger people who want a more "lounge" or "offtopic" message board feel could hang out, and now look at all the subforums that rely on a little knowledge to post in here.

Art work gallery- excellent Idea.

Baked is not right for your target audience. It should be something that is hip slick and cool but still classy enough to feel older than their age.

Cards is a great ideaâ?¦.poker, spades, go fish people would love it.

Another section for people who like to write.

You could make the whole board consist of arts and entertainment and include cannabis forums you could link all the growing stuff to the boards here after all the majority of your target audience will not be growing at home.

So really if Canna didnâ??t have all of the growing information on it than it would be mostly just a board about culture.

Sports section is also a good idea.
