i think its fine if i wanna take a risk to get a dvd ive been wanting but cant afford - for me its done on such a small scale
prices of dvds will not go up to 30$ because people steal them
are you completely sure about that? im sure if you really thought about it you would reconsiderQuote:

Seriously, though, it fucking blows.
I steal from stores whenever the fuck I please. For two good reasons. First, I get material goods for no cost. Secondly, I help discourage capitalism, which is something I am passionate about. Hobos, anyone?
Eventually, I would LOVE to have utter chaos in the marketplace. Hordes of people running around snatching whatever they can find. There's no hope in stopping them, they're everywhere! You chase one down, only to see a much bigger thief making off with a cartload of TVs.
And eventually, the executives, the stockholders, the FATCATS, all realize their backwards-ass system is about as useful as a dead emu. Money is useless now, fuckers!
And so, out of the ashes, rises a new system. Perhaps it isn't perfect, but it's certainly a foot in the right direction. And, though I'm quite UNreligious, I say we take after Jesus and go Communist.
When we're children, we are strongly encouraged to share. Don't fight over it, play with it together! Nobody gets shafted, evreybody wins.
But then, we hit the dreaded "working age"! Time to throw away all that immature hooey about team-playing, now it's EVERY MOTHERFUCKER FOR HIMSELF! RUN BITCH RUUUUUN! *Sniff* What's that smell?
And before you start taking examples of Communism from the Soviets, let me say they were NOT Communists. That was pure, unadulterated Dictatorship.
But for all ye faithfull Cappies, just keep one thing in mind.
ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS.
Yeah there's no originality in being a "Gangsta" because every fucking idiot thinks there one. I know this is gonna sound corny but it's just better being you. I have a shaved head and hate my fucking goverment but I don't consider myself a skinhead. And no I don't hate black people, gay people or jewish people. Their people just like everyone else. But I won't try to be black because I don't want to be black and I'm not black. Also I don't agree with what gay people do but it's none of my buisness and I don't hate them for it just keep the poo poo stick away from me mmmk.
what a pointless pissing contest.
If you want to take a risk, go climb a mountain, jump out of a plane, find something constuctive to do. You know its fucked up or you wouldnt keep trying to justify the lame reasons you use for being a thief.

In communism, you get what your stuck with, the status quo. Meaning you won't get a fancy TV or anything, you'll get generic crap and thats about it. The government would control all business, so sorry you can't start your own if you get an ichin to start a pizza shop. Also, money is a big problem in communism as even if your extremely skilled at whatever you do, your not going to get paid more, you'll probably receive the same pay as someone selling hot dogs out of a cart on the streets. Add to that, in communism, you don't own anything, the government owns your house, your car, everything. That would be great time huh?
that's actually incorrect. when you steal from a company, they write off their losses at the end of the year, and they get that money right back. so companies don't really give a flying fuck. i worked at macy's for 2 years and i was pretty close to one of the "undercover security" and he told me all about it. he told me that most theft is internal and they only catch about 10% of thieves. these companies are insured so it doesn't really matter.Quote:

its a very bad habit of mine.:(when i see the opportunity, i take it. i have yet to be cought. it started in middle school, taking meaningless things like pencils and whiteboard markers...over the years i have moved on to things of more value. i really dont steal because i need things...but because i WEANT them and i cant help but take the opportunity when i see it. so lock me up!
i used to steal a lot back in the day. back when i was into card games, i used to steal boxes of cards at a time, which is like fourty-eight packs. it was bad. everytime i'd get caught there'd be a period of sobriety and control, but whenever i couldn't get the cash - i'd be right back at the store. eventually, the cops were called on me, by none other than my own father. i spent a day or two in jail before my friends put up the bail. it's been about eight months since then and, i've only stolen a few small items. a small mason jar from work and a lizard that flashed three lights simultaneously. nothing big or valuable, unless it's sentimental value you count, in which case, the store owes me some change. know what i'm saying?
i'd steal because it was convenient - it was always an impulsive decision for me, which in my latter years of thievery became more apparent, when i began to steal from family. i wasn't trusted, which further threw me into a dark corner. instead of trying to earn my trust back, i chose the easy way - steal it! soon, everyone owed me. i was a victim.
every now and again, i'll take someone's candybar out of the refrigerator, but other than that, i'm clean. i just haven't had the temptation anymore. it seems to me that it would hurt me more than them if i stole something, now. karma can be your best-friend or your greatest enemy. it's your choice.
Haha thats funny. Thats like saying only stoners steal. I heard a lot of bad about stoners before but stealing wasn't one of it.Quote:

Well see the screen name for the short version.
I used to steal for a living.
I did have honor though, no freinds or family.
They had no clue of course.
A good thief will never let anyone know.
There have been very succesful thieves throughout history.
Some have lived in the best neighborhoods and had excellent families.
I was mostly into Auto theft, one of the easiest thefts(back in the day not now)
I could steal someones car while they were watching.
I once stole a mans car while he watched from his living room.
By the time he got to his driveway I was leaving in his car.
Theft is very profitable, little to no cost and mucho money to be made.
Beware though, Karma will get you in the end!
After being a car thief for almost ten years, I got caught.
The police knew what I was doing but could not catch me.
Car theives are very hard to catch.(pros anyways)
Most of the theft that has been talked about here is small time.
There are rings of thieves that work places like walmart, k-mart, so on...
They are the ones that cost the most money.
Oddly enough though, small timers are more likely to be caught.
Stealing once or twice is more risky than doing it profesionally.
Joy riders and kleptos get busted all the time.
Pros dont.
Ya can flame me all ya want, you kids got nothing on a nice stint in jail.
Have fun folks.
Dont steal though IT WILL GET YOU CAUGHT ONE DAY!
Felon
only if you can piss your name in the snow.Quote:

There is nothing you get away with in the physical world, not murder, not stealing, not lieing that the non-physical world has not seen you do. Some learn from their mistakes and some never do. Look at the person serving hard time in prison for theft or robbery. What happened to this middle age man?
Every case is the same. Someone started out small early in life and got away with a lot........................for a while. Then the person got a little more greedier and the rush was more intense of flirting with being caught. How do you choose to learn? At what stage do you choose to learn? Can you do the time of 3 years right now?
You think going to prison is just doing your time. I hear a year in prison can sometimes feel like two and survival is on a day to day basis as long as your willing to stab or kill another inmate for your new prison gang. Do as the gang tells you and youll get increased time. Dont do it and someone in the gang will get you for refusing to follow orders. Misery loves company. You must belong to a gang you know. There are no loners in prison. Why even flirt with that kind of life?
Life will deal you a blow if you dont take subtle hints.
Hold yourself to a higher sense of morality and what it means to be a man with integrity, trust and honesty. That is the type of person most people seek to have in their lives. When you have these virtues people will sense that about you and hold you in high regard.
You should be the kind of man that if I asked you to watch my house and left you the key while I went on vacation that I could trust you. I could trust that you wouldnt ransack every drawer in my house looking for what ever you wanted. I could trust you to the point that you wouldnt even be curious to look.
You should be the type of man that when the clerk at the store unknowingly gives you too much cash back and you catch the mistake that you say something and give the money back.
You should be the type of man that when you find a walllet or purse on the sidewalk that you make sure it gets back to owner with all of its contents.
It doesnt matter what you steal whether it be a tv or a toothbrush. You cant disguise the act in terms of degree. Its the same. Dont be misled by the illusion. Temptation to steal is nothing more than a test of ones character.
Lol, hahaha, that's funny because... umm....Quote:

been there, stole that.
This is a pretty common misconception. Yes, companies can write off their losses but as anyone who actually pays taxes and takes deductions knows, you don't get 100% of it back. For example I can write off my daughter's day care but the govt only gives me about 30 cents back for every $ I spend. The other 70 cents goes to Iraq and George Bush's butt plugs.Quote:

So maybe you just steal a cd from Walmart. No biggie right? Well, think of all the other folks out there who think the same way as you do. That's gonna be a lot of cds. That means a lot of money, even after write offs and insurance.
Now think about somebody else, they are honest and hard working, but poor. Their little girl wants nothing more than a Barbie doll for X-mas. They go to Walmart to buy it but can't because Walmart has had to raise their prices due to theft and now that honest hard working person can't afford the Barbie Doll. So, how 'bout you go to their house X-Mas morning and explain to that little girl why your stealling, simply because it gets your tiny little dick hard, is more important than her Barbie.
couldnt have put that any better myself!
stealing is stupid
the only thing i dont care is to steal government, coz those bastards are so fuckin corrupted, and to steal some big companies like wal-mart coz they are full of shit
but the stupidiest thing is to steal a person
Yeah, cause that would be kidnapping.
i was gonna say that. steal from stores and companies but not from hard working individuals. oh yea, also steal from the rich folks, they deserve it.Quote:

meh. i think it's funny that some of you are condeming stealing because it costs the hard working man/woman money. so true. but prepare for the truth.... PREPARREEEEEEE. People pay tons of money in taxes to catch drug dealers. Eeep. Guess steal or smoke... you're still gonna cost the hard working man/woman lots of money. Sorry guys. Oh well :-P
well i for one, am a thief. it has nothing to do with money, i have money. im not rich or anything like that, but i am a thief. see something i like, i want, i have. it is something i grew up with, and know how to do succesfully. besides whats wrong with gettin a break once and a while?
god, what's up with you assholes and your ultra-high sense of morallity?Quote:

is their anything you need that bad that you have to steal? because most of you probably don't so quit stealing unless your homeless and starving to death then go steal a jacket and some food. (only time I tolerate stealing). fucking kleptos
Dont steal the cops dont like competition. I have a story about cops stealing alot of money but I wont get into that.
Damn I fucking HATE Stealing! Well I dont care if someone does it to a store, as long as I have nothing to do with it. But God, that's the worst fucking thing someone could do! To steal from an individual, that's fucked up. Well it fucked up to steal from either store or an individual, but it's worse to steal from an Individual.
At my best friends funeral, we were having all of her friends come to my house afterwards and stuff. Well me, my sis, my mom and a couple of others went about 3 hrs. away so we could go with her family and bury her. Well we had a movie camera in my living room so people could watch the tapes of her, and when we got home our video camera was gone, all the tapes, everything. I was so fucking mad and so upset I couldn't do anything. I couldn't even ask people if they saw it.
I think it's so fucked up to steal, and if I ever catch anyone stealing from me I would seriously flip out. I've other other times than this one where I was stolen from in the past, and if I could find thoise people I would beat the fuck out of them
