if i was to pinpoint jim morrisons drug preference, i'd say he did a lot of peyote.
that was his drug of choice...
but really, jim morrison was a drinker...when he first joined the doors, he was all acid and mescaline...but in the bands latter years he drank mostly...i think its because he was getting depressed...thinking too much can do that, has to me even...he was also a cokehead...
i'm a good judge of person. you can hear it in his lyrics and the sound the doors produces. i think once he hit l.a. woman, his drinking came out in his music, well, his excessive usage of it, anyway.Quote:

yeah...his drinking mainly came out in LA women by far...the first time i really saw him as a drinker is when i first got into the classic rock...i heard some of the doors, but thought of jim morrison as only acid...then i heard roadhouse blues (i think its called that anyway, not sure) and that really showed it...
i dont know...i like all of their songs..exept light my fire...that wasnt as good...i think its because most of the lyrics for that were written by robby krieger...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand im off to bed, goodnight
i'm very fond of all of their music, with the exception of the soft parade, which wasn't one of their best albums...goodnight, man. have a good one.
