"to take ones awareness away from the mind... the mind will flip out.."
I don't quite understand what you mean by that. Could you explain?

Pastacus? It looks like you were only using 1/2% of your brain for that one. As I am correcting every single word I type, immediately after, for spelling.
I still haven't smoked that "another bowl".
Is that cumulative? Meaning if you use 1/2% of your brain for every word you type, and you type 200 words, you've used %100 of your brain capacity? Actually no, that would mean everyone in the world has used about %100000000000000000000000000000000 of their brain power.. Forget I said that.
Your still a demond to me ghost! LOL. I must rest now and go pay taxes tommorow. I`ll be back with or with out wit. He may or may not join me? Ha Ha! Later poorman3.Quote:

The mind is constantly creating "things to do".
I have an itch
I am hungry
I am angry
I must help that person.
I am owed 300 dollars
I must do this now.. so I can have this later..
it is a never ending trail of "I" statements..
I am GHOST
I am ceo of cheveron
your name is the basket that holds all these I's
If one does not REACT... and simply observes these "I" statements... one will get a glimpse of "THE I".. the ultimate I... WOW
It requires the most deictation and focus of any task. It is a journey that is so set with traps that most won't even dare to takethe first step...
When you are able to sit still and let enough "I" statements go by without reacting, the mind will start to up the ante... it will say.. I MUST GET UP NOW.. because I have this to do or I will die.....
your lucky if you make it that far..
another thing that will happen is you will let your gaurd down for a split second and your mind will take over.. and next thing you know you will be doing something...
itching something..
or be deep into thought about what your girlfriend said to you last night..
the opposite of birth is death..
so what is LIFE...? LIFE IS
i love da GHOST
Hi, I am nothing.
I do not have an itch
I am not hungry
I am not angry
I must not help that person.
I am not owed 300 dollars
I must not do this now.. so I can not have this later..
I am, neither, ghost nor ceo of chevron.
I am nothing. Nothing exists where everything doesn't. Nothing more than nothing exists in the same place. The same place can be used to place nothing in. Where's this place you speak of, G.K.?
im gonna roll a joint and get reading

For Hawking to diasallow the existence of God,is to disallow the possible existence of entities in a pure energy form..should'nt he keep his mind open to all possibilities ? Hawking leaves no room for God in 'his universe' or the existance of an omni-potent entity..that seems to be somewhat one dimensional - the way I see it.

But anyway, I don't know much about how Stephen Hawking works. I don't really know how he and his colleagues come to these conclusions, but I would imagine that there is no room for God in his model of the universe because he has not yet seen any reason to include God or Gods in that model. I'm sure he has based his ideas and theories and thoughts on the evidence that he has found and that has been presented to him, and so far nobody has ever proven the existence of God, so therefore He doesn't exist in the current model of the universe.
I'm sure if somebody were to suddenly provide irrefutable evidence of God, or if God one day popped in to say 'High', then the currently accepted model of the universe would be changed to allow for the presence of God, but as of yet there is no reason for that to be so.
I agree that there is much more to the universe than we can imagine. Even Stephen Hawking doesn't assume to know everything, even about himself or his planet; there are just too many unknowns. But I don't think that we can draw any conclusions based on the unknowns, because we just don't know. I'm starting to sound like Donald Rumsfeld. :D

This place where nothing exists, I'm not sure. I've long thought it was a black hole, but with these findings of star-creation, around Sagittarius A*, giving me second thoughts.Quote:

You should condense your thoughts and explain yourself high.Quote:

I haven't been high since the day I set foot on these message boards.
I live on the first floor at sea-level. The highest I've been, since, was Petersburg, VA.
let's just say i skipped a few steps in the thinking process....Quote:
