Anybody ever go Weed hunting?

You went "weed hunting"... aka, stealing.

Here's my point: If you come across a patch of weed in the middle of nowhere... dude, take ONE bud and roll a joint... that's it. But taking more? You're obviously stealing. Period.

And what's with mikeandjenherbals telling you about the guns and shotguns? Look turd, one of those patches of weed will probably yield a couple of big $1,000's to the "owner"... So, shooting you and ending your life will not be a big problem for him. You are what's standing between his $10,000 sale and $0... I'm telling you, he IS going to shoot you and try to KILL you... then, he'll use up your body as compost for his future crops... You said so your self::: a weed patch in the middle of nowhere.

And what about calling names to the old pot smoking hippies? You fucking piece of shit, if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be smoking whatever kind of shitty weed that you have...

Conclusion: One Bud = Not super cool, but I would think it's ok.

You take a morning stroll with your morning joint and a coffee to check out your girls progress. Down the trail you go, past the shed and the broken tree trunk.. to the little patch of area you've cleared for your girls...
As you round the corner, you're horrified to realize.. that what was once there.. is no longer...

You see debris, broken branches.. Fan leaves...everywhere... it looks like it was the 4th of july.. and you weren't invited.

Ok, I backed off posting on this subject for awhile just to see what other people had to say. Turtle, I've been robbed 3 times man, so you're preaching to the choir there. I don't believe in stealing, I don't like stealing. I don't steal (for the record i never do go "weed hunting" I just buy bags). HOWEVER, when you're in a state with a bunch of hicks and lots of woods (Half of our good ol' USA) I can very easily understand why people go weed hunting. Rural Areas, often have less drugs flowing through (Now this is not the case with all of them, but for the most part drugs travel around big cities a lot). So when someone can't find a dealer, and they decide to go weed hunting and find a small patch in the middle of bumblefuck (Iowa, when not in a city is EXTREMELY low in population) then it's ok to steal a plant.

I find it funny... at the beginning of this post, Buzz Uk seemed to bring up a good point about not setting your tv outside to let someone take it, and then he makes a fucking joke and you go wild on his ass. Seriously, what the fuck is all of your problems? Fact of the matter is, if you don't want to chance your shit getting taken, grow inside or directly in your back yard. Period.

What would happen if a thunderstorm came and ruined those plants during the night? The grower (if they actually are privately grown) comes around the corner and sees his plants destroyed. Does he blame God for destroying his plants? Probably not, he probably just moves on with his life. You fucking people make me sick. Weed is found in unusual areas, and a lot of the time it's not grown by any specific person. MikeandJenHerbals, you're just a retarted little douchebag with no educated opinion to back yourself. Half of the time I read your fucking post i have to read it twice because of all your fucking spelling errors and just the general bullshit of your post. Seriously man, Eat Shit and Die. There's also a difference between being slightly ripped off.. and being robbed blind.
It's not a matter of where the plant is.. it's a matter of how you react when you find it.

For once I agree with BobBong. This is an issue with a grey zone though. It's not a black and white picture.

Yeah around here I always watch the ditches. Normally if you see quite a few plants together it's shitty weed. If you spot one lone plant by itself it is often damned good. This is usually caused by a tossed out roach. I'd never go into the woods and rip somebody elses weed off. Good way to get your ass kicked. I might watch the patch and see if I could hook up with the person growing it and maybe score some from him.

A buddy of mine just told me a story at work today. He talked to a guy he knows not far from here that always grows a dozen or so plants every year. The guy told him that someone found his plants and ripped off 2 of them. He had been taking very good care of them and had them tied to staked with twist ties. Whoever ripped him off took the stakes and bread ties and made crosses out of them and then stuck them in the holes left by the plants. Needless to say, that pissed him off even more!!

I guess the plus side is that they didn't take all of the plants! :)

It is a black and white picture. If you find weed growing in the wild it's pretty likely that it's not wild and that somebody planted it there. If you steal it you're a piece of shit.

CRUCIFY HIM!!! whether or not someone stumbles upon 1 or 2 plants and decides to take some or not thats there decision, but, if you stumble upon dozens or hundreds You should really be watching your back, a single plant can be worth $1600 wholesale and if its dozens you could be talking 40 or 50 thousand dollers to someone who may be close by, and many people will be willing to kill for that amount, in fact not too long ago you could have someone killed in a mob style hit for $500 bucks. theres really a big difference in a hippie growing a few plants to sell and an organized group with only profit in mind.

I really would not judge someone so harshly if they ran into some plants in the middle of the forest and harvested them, there are so many other more serious things a person can do that are much worse.

There's also a difference between ditchweed or something that's growing pretty wild..and pot that's growing in an area that's designated for an outdoor grow.

You obviously didn't read all of my posts you punk ass little bitch. As I stated before: I've never gone weed hunting... i highly highly doubt I'd ever go weed hunting... and I don't steal. Seriously, what are all the accusations for? I was simply standing up for the guy, not saying I do the shit myself. I've been ripped off, I know what it's like... so don't go acting high and mighty like you're so much better, especially since I'm not a thief. If I looked over the fence into my neighbors yard and saw some plants growing there's no way I'd jump the fence some night to get them. I would definitely try to get to know the huy better but no way I'd evber steal them. Stealing anything, whether it's legal or not is just bad karma.

That being said, if I was strolling through the woods one day and came across a patch of beautiful plants covered in giant icky sticky buds I'd probably take an ounce or two. I'd like to think that my good morals would prevail but it would be pretty hard to resist. I wouldn't take it all, and certainly wouldn't try to profit from it, just enough to keep me happy and high for a while. Seriously, I think anyone would. I mean come on people, preach all you want but that's a lot of temptation to resist. I don't believe anyone would just say "wow, beautiful buds" and the just walk away without taking just a little bit.

all i got to say is watch out for the national parks crops and shit like that. im donning a papaer on legaizing for school. and i read some shit that growers put rat traps with shotgun shells, bear traps, and armed beaners lol :D
