This makes me wanna try LST, Great job HARDDON
MAJOR DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got stoned last night and accidently fed my plants water that was pH down to 2.8:eek:
the lst plant on the right is about wasted. One of the three headed tops is damaged.
So far noting else...but it appears to be spreading left....
This could be a total disaster.
I flooded it with water with a pH of 13 to try and neutralize....may add some baking soda to another hug of water and water agan.
Will post later gotta go play rugby :)
OPPS LOL sorry to here that i hope it turns out ok but.... i like sig did you have a lawyer write that for you ? man it sucks that you have to put that to stay legit btw what ya think of my avatar
Sorry to hear that HD,hope things work out for you. Nice avatar Cannabuds xD
peace
hope it works out HD, fingers r crossed 4 u man, hopefully all will b ok.
another lesson learned 4 all off us.
Well I chopped back all kinds of shit on the far right plant. The middle plant with three heads had one head affected but looks ok.
I watered them again several gallons with pH 20 water....added a shit load of baking soda to get it that high :)
All seems to be well.....Now i will have to see if the plant rebounds as now its mostly just a main stem with some grow on it......friking ugly man just ugly.
Will post pics later. Hopefully the acid has been neutralized but this is a danger of doing plants in multiple plant grow containers.
Funny thing is.,.....it didnt hurt my flowering plants at all....they both got the same water.
Is it possible it was oxygen poisoning? Yesterday was first day ever I turned off the air fan that pulls fresh air in and circulates it. So no fresh air came in the closet but it was only like 12 hours......I kept the fan on and the plants closet to the fan are the ones that got hit.
Just cooincidence?
Now I have neutralized the soil and probably will kill the other two plants....bahumbug...
Thats cool though cuz I really wanna grow these 5 durban poison seeds I got from south africa from ricco...i guess :D
Aww man sorry to hear... Oh well that's pretty nice that you got some free seeds, that's good to hear. Good your growin durban poison too, I'll know if I'm doing mine right ;) lol Good luck with the one survivor man
how do you test the Ph of water :S i plan on just using tap water that has sat out for 48 hours...
interesting...
whats the news hd?
any change??
I think I figured out what happened.
If you notice, in the front right of the grow box, I have a tube that runs down to the lava rock bed for bottom watering.
Well the other night when I watered with the super low pH, I watered right into the soil, bypassing the tube that surely hits the roots with the water flow.....but I use a 3 gallon jug to water and a lot of water prolly when right into the tube....
which is right next to the plant on the right.
It probably hit the roots with the super acidic water and nailed it hard....
The soil probably buffered it out which is why my flowering plants didnt get hurt nor did parts of my LST on the far left. The water never touched the roots bare like it did by the tube.
I keep a 5 gallon jug full of low Ph water and mix with fresh high alkaline and get a balance.
I ws stoned and used the super low pH water... :(
I'll post a pic of the gruesome aftermath tonight, they are sleeping right now.
have the rest come on ok??
UPDATED.
The near death experience has passed it seems. But it left a devastating hole in my right side of the canopy. What should have been a complete canopy by now will prolly have to wait till another 10 days or so to fill in.
So I will reset the clock to say 10/13 for complete coverage.
Anyhow here is how they stand.....
Not bad for 21 days, eh??????
Except for the acid bath I gave them
When HARD ON SAYS he can veg with the best of em...you best listen :)
Yeah right! You can tell those are just plastic! Look how shiny they are!! You been hangin' out at Hobby Lobby too much HD.
FUnny........
Actually its a special formula I use as I mist them down....unfreaking believable how it helps them.
Was taught to me by a very special person :)
I rarely even post pics of them with it on them....that one wasnt even supposed to be posted :D
Look for DR. HARD ON'S TWIN BALL ROOT TONIC PRIVATE LABEL FORMULA in a store near you soon :D:D:D:D
care to share the recipe? :D
Of course I was just messin' with ya HD. You know I love ya. But tell us more about the good Doctor's Tonic!! Is it just for the plants general health that can be used for it's entire life or for specific times? It really lays on the leaves nice. Must be the soap.
LOL...
No gents it is not for release at this time. :)
Will it work on flowers?
I do not know yet. Saturday night I will make the first topical applications to a couple of my flowers to do a side by side. The concern is the flowers abilities to absorb the tonic when the flower is protected by a resinous coating.
Extreme care must be taken to not disolve or cause to be dislodged the trichs. We aren't that far ahead but first tests wll be done this weekend...
But I feel comfortable in saying that for vegetative stages, it works like magic. It has even helped the acid burned plant recover more quickly than it should have and prevented the spread I think as well.
Coming soon to a store near you :)
Wait. Seriously? C'mon man brand and bottle that stuff for the masses!!! I'd gladly pay 10 bucks a gallon. Lookin' good man :D
Yes, seriously.
Damn... could I have you ship some to me in the future? How would you price the stuff? I'd gladly pay $5 per 2 liter. And I wouldn't have to know the ingredients :D
Well if I marketed it for tomatos or other food grade plants, I would have to go thru FDA approval....that would cost about $50,000,000.00
NO BULLSHIT.
So I would have to market some for general house plants....
But yes, Rasta, the minute the formula is created en masse, I will send you an autographed personal bottle....on the house :)
The big question will be how does it work on the flowers....and I shall demo the process, as I DO ALL MY PROCESSES, right here for you to see the results...good or bad.
If nothing else, it could be marketed as a vegetative supplement.
And no, you wont know the ingredients other than they are 100% organic and contains ZERO CHEMICALS......
Coming soon to a web site near you :) :) :)
But it works like magic....
I guess thats why I am so....arrogant? :D
It's water isnt it? :P
No man.. No way that's water. I mist my plants down all the time you don't get an even coating like that. Like HD said, I'm sure it's composed of organic stuff. Makin' it slightly thicker then water, and a hell of a lot more effective, from what I see :D HD is the ONLY one on this site that I have seen with plants that look like they do on day 7 (and I'm NOT just saying that)... Now we know why. So how long until it's available? Are we looking at months, a year mabye? Keep us udated man.
Peace
Hi HD, I once heard that spraying your tomatoes with Southern Comfort did some awesome shit for your grow. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? Or is this just some crakpot idea? lol
Just curious...
Yes. I have heard of that.
The theory is the sugars are beneficial to the flowers. Not the alcohol though.
Coke or Pepsi regular soda is great fertilizer for your lawn or any high nitrogen plants when buffered with an alkaline substance.
I can say no more at this point :D
You always have something to say... lmao :p
Am I on to some method you are using for your (secret) super lookin grows?
Are ya holdin out on us or whats the deal?
I return only this time to finish the post re: the LST.
If you recall, what started out as a SOG was split into one SOG and one LST. The sog grew way taller than I intended but none the less turned out wonderfully.
The LST method proves to be the absolute easiet way to grow tomato plants in a short height area. As the pic shows, you simply tie down the stems to the wire grate and keep tieing her down over and over and over...soon you will have 20 or so buds in flower.
THis was done in a space of 3 feet tall by 18" deep x 2.5 ft wide box. I have the 250W MH and 400W HPS lights with in 8 inches of the canopy with a fan blowing and a vortex exhaust.
Flowers were fed once at start day 1 of flower and again at day 30. No flushing is needed and no further ferts are needed. The resulting smoke is outrageously good yet smooth as my ass. (I have no hair on my ass).
As I mentioned, this way is extremely easy to manage. I only had to check on them once every 3 or 4 days for water and thats all. The work is in the beginning tie down but its all worth it.
THis will yeild a good one quarter pound in a very small space. 3 units stacked on top of one another should yeild close to 3/4 pound or even one pound. Early in their veg stage I burned half of the one on the left so I am shy probably another 1 ounce because of the fuck up.
This LST was done with 3 plants all vegged stress free and they were all three females. I tribute the success rate of a finished female to male ratio of 75% to the rooting hormone powder I started them off with by adding it to the water every time they got watered thru week 4.
The ferts used consist of a proprietary blend of the following:
Jack Daniels Whisky
Ammonia
Clear Corn Syrup
Lipton Iced Tea, dry granules
...and a few other ingredients that I shall not list. Do not try this without all the ingredients required as there are natural buffers needed that if not present will kill your plants. Also, if specific plant hormones are not present in the foilage at the proper feeding time, this will stunt the growth or it appears to have adverse effects on the smaller bud sites. This is true on both LST and regular grows.
One member here knows it. No one else does. It is easy as you feed 2X only and again, no flushing needed.
Maybe I'll bottle the stuff and market it for the tomatos.
It really does work gang. And the kicker is, it forces the plant to produce its maximum THC potential. Good weed will be great weed with this formula. I havent tried it on shitty weed. Great weed will be great weed on this formula.
The LST itself has proven to be ideal for growing in limited height conditions and can actually provide a hefty yeild for such a small space.
I highly recommend it as the way to grow if space is an issue. Almost all foilage drops off and you have only buds that stick straight up in the air and the stretching is minimized.
You do NOT get the typical BIG MAIN KOLA BUD off a grow like this. In fact, the main heads are some of the smallest buds on the plants. Its all about getting the secondary growth shoots exposed to light early on and let them grow. Tie them down...grow...tie...grow tie...
Well gang thats about it for me. I felt I had to finish the post to give the site a complete LST finality in case someone wants to do it.
I shalnt return so please dont get upset if I do not answer your questions. I have not returned to the scene so to speak, again I just wanted to finish the post as the grow is done.
Nice chatting with you all, I miss you all and love you all.
Take care and God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
HARD ON
PS...just for shits and grins and to puff my magic formula, I included a pic of a couple of buds from all those 7UP bottles that I grew in.
I got about 12 buds like these two out of the original SOG. Most were bent and warped because of the unanticipated height, but I also think the SOG is a great way to go as well....just dont veg longer than 21 days and you do need about 4 feet for a good SOG.
You will get a good one bud main kola that looks like these :)
If I decide to forgo the marketing I will tell the member here, if he wishes to disclose the exact specs for the food mix and time patterns. If I decide to market it for tomato plants, trust me, you'll be the third to know.
FOr the knowitalls who will piss on my plant food and water theory, you dont have to think about it, since you know it all anyhow.
To those who have open minds, you will be amazed.
But whats a good HARD ON post without some spice, eh?
Asta La Vista fuckers. :D :D :D :D :D :D  :rasta:

i dont know about the rest of you, but i feel as if jesus himself just spoke to me...
I really hope you market it under HARDDON TOMATO ELIXIR. Good luck and great results.
Damn.. He left again..!:(
I have read some of his thread's, and I find them very inspiering!:)
I really appreciated the first half of the thread but not so much when it started spouting about proprietary techniques and formulas. Almost 100% of what we do here is learned/borrowed from people we meet, things we read, and techniques we are introduced to as we are learning. You left me feeling like a carnival patron listing to a schpiel for miracle cream.
Attached is a shot from one of subcool's own plants grown in his organic supersoil. The entire method/formula is documented online with pictures and the plants only require water throughout their entire flowering cycle. Kisses.
For all who are concerned...Harddon is not back, he just wanted to finish LST thread for any of you that were interested...as far as the partial recipe...well, there is a good chance that it will be marketed, and that is why H did not divulge everything about the
formula and timeframes for usage...suffice it to say, I am smoking some Of Harddon's shit, right now!...the boy can grow, despite people's feelings about him or his methods.
I personally have found him to be generous and forthcoming throughout my relationship with him...lw
My only gripe was in regards to free access to information or the lack thereof. Given the fact that most growers are operating under the radar for fear of very malicious prosecution, it just doesn't seem very kind to capitalize on them. The best teachers... the true "masters" in any field... are the ones that give because they want to and take because they have to.Quote:

I'm glad you brought this up, no offense, but if everyone followed your philosophy, then I wouldn't have to pay 59.99 for Voodoo Juice,LOL, later,lw
