I'm 40 and have been smokeing over 25 years. I think we just mellow with age getting high at 40 is no way the same as getting high when I was in my teens and early 20's.
I remember being so messed up from smoking a joint when I was younger, now I smoke daily go to work, drive and function perfectly normal. I find it fun to smoke a big bowl just before a business meeting and sit there in my own little world while the rest of my co-workers do not have a clue. If I tried that in my 20's I would have been fired for sure:)
I like to keep business and pleasure apart; one usually messes up the other. If I'm stoned all of the time, it feels like I'm stoned none of the time, eventually. Having said that, I used to do exactly as you do, Teela, so please don't regard this as criticism, just a different point of view.

Thats pretty cool most people in there 40's that i know tell me it was much weaker back then as now we only smoke hydro here because not many people grow outdoors whereas back then hydroponics was just not happening so they relied on big fat natural juicy buds.I think skunk or some afghani stuff was what my older brothers were smoking and usually grown by someone outdoors.I have only tried natural outdoor weed once or twice and it seemed to be much weaker even though it did smell and look better than most hydro.Quote:
