At 16 you think you're grown up already, you think you know everything. Has anyone ever heard of a paradime shift? It's where all of a sudden you wake up and see the world from a totally different perspective, it all feels different and suddenly you think you understand it all now, but in most likelyhood, you will have several paradime shifts in your life. I think it's all a part of learning lessons and growing wiser. My mother just passed away in April from cancer. I believe her death has caused my paradime to shift and look at the world from a different viewpoint.

Is that a cross on your neck? And your asking guys on a message board if you're fuckable? lol I found that kind of funny. And yes, y ou are.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother...
I'm going through one of those paradime shifts right now. I think it's a combination of many things. I feel I am a much better person now because of it.

Christianity has a fucked up viewpoint in the world. I used to be a Wiccan. I then married a preachers son. I became a christian. I am very spiritual, but I do not believe you have to go to church every sunday to go to heaven. God accepts me and all my faults, ecspecially sex, drugs, and rock and roll. He may not like the things I do, but he still cares for me. I have lived an extremely hard life. Like right now, I do not have a mom or dad, all my other relatives are long gone. I just got done spending 3 months with my mom watching her die. I do not have all the answers on my faith, right now is a fucked up time. But I know there's someone up there watching out for me.

If you were referring to me, screw you. I have my opinions and I can chime in when I feel like it. If she wants to post that, then I can speak my mind about it. Plus, I've never met a christian in my life who does stuff like that. It was interesting to hear her view on it. Plus, I dont' see you being the most productive poster on these boards.

I used to live out in the city, in europe and when I lived in North Carolina, but I live out in the country now....nothin but potatoe fields, and I love the piece and queit, and theyres not many cops around to fuck with ya, the ones that do are assholes though. But the only thing I hate about the country is in a small town if you grew your hair long your a hippie stoner fuck who does nothing but drugs (according to these people when I had long hair), but all in all, stay in the country, :p

I used to live in Oklahoma and my friends and I kenw a couple cops. It was always funny when one would pull up while we were skating or something, then thinking we were screwed, just to find out the cop just wanted to chat with us. I've run into a couple Houston PD here and they're dicks. It's no fun dealin with 'em.

-

I'm not sure, states differ on law. Here you get a 348 dollar ticket, and have 30 days to pay it. When you go to pay it though, you must show that you got insurance.

I love living in the city and i would never want to live in a rural countryside.

charlottesville VA home of UVA though i lived in the country. i live in charlotte nc now and i miss the country. i cant piss outside i cant let my dog out without leash and i cant have field parties. so i think i need to move back plus people here are so uptight and in a hurry. i like the slower down to earth atmosphere that the country provides.

Hahah Del.
Oh, well living in San Francisco...I love the city. I was born and lived there, moved up to oregon, now I still work and live down there for about 4 months of the year. There are some districts which one wanders into with caution or can get a little nasty (hunters point), but I love the city.

Or to hear cars going by at night. Do you ever have problems finding parking spots? Is there really gangs that stand on corners? Is there certain areas you won't drive down? Maybe I am a gullible country girl, but I'm just curious. I come from a place where there's not even a cop. There's no shootings, nokidnappings. I'm a pretty good looking 21 year old girl and around here I'm not afraid to walk anywhere alone. If you put me in the ghetto, I'd be dead in like 30 minutes. The thought of a place where I had to be afraid to walk down the road kinda makes me sad. Anyways, any questions, just ask.
I would trade my life for your life in a heartbeat. I was born and raised (and still live in), the 7th largest city in the United States- San Diego, CA. It was not too bad when i was younger - but now!! 7 years ago, I moved from my peaceful little suburb of San Diego, right straight to Downtown San Diego!! It is like living in Iraq(And I know, I am a Desert Storm Veteran). It is horrible, it is worse then only getting sex every year!! If you need a guide on your first ghetto tour, let me know. My e-mail is In the meantime, you should be counting your lucky stars, country virgin girl. Good-bye for now.

I wouldn't trade the city life for anything. So much stuff to do and see and to be apart of. I don't know why everyone hates it, especially the gangs and stuff. Maybe it's different where you're from. I'm not afraid to drive/walk anywhere, I've never been messed with (probably because i'm 6'4 170 lbs but still).
I mean, the city is great, as long as you're confident you can go pretty much anywhere, just don't be smug, just be nice and don't fear people.

City life is the shit, but some day, when I'm older I would that quiet life in the country, preferably in the mountains not to far to drive to ski :)
Gangs don't even worry me, I only been fucked around with once and that's because I kinda asked for it.
But concerts, clubs, just being apart of the scene is why city life rules.

I have lived in both the country and the city, and let me tell ya I got outta the city as fast as i could. Its just not my thing, not because of the crime or anything which in Detroit theres lots:eek:, but when u grow up and its always quite at night and ur used to things being a certin way and being able to walk around at time day or night and just be safe.
you dont have to worry about anything or anyone. I missed just being able to go the lake and fish when i wanted or swim when i wanted. I didnt get to go mudd runnin because theres no two tracks in the city either:(. It was so frickin nosie too!! that i just couldnt handle. I like being able to look out my windows and see the stars. I noticed in the city the bright lites kinda make them disappear.
and i dont know for some reason I can just breath better in the country air :D
