not sure about repotting them yet or not. dont seem rootbound yet but it is hard to be sure. if do ill do it before next week tho. i will clean them up a little, i have been holding off to make sure they recovered somewhat before i started takin chunks off. but now i think about it i may do that too. got a couple pics of the healthier 2 battery died so ill get the other 2 up later.
just did a lil prowlin under their skirts. found preflowers on all 4 of them. and lot more in there than i expected sweet!

yep they are bitemybud, i probably will let them ride it out in the 3 gallons. i did a little pokin around in the soil on the sides doesnt seem overly "rooty" for now.
week 8 of veg. switched them to 12/12 let the budding begin! the 2 in the front are doing real ice the 2 in the back are obviously having a harder time still. the new growth all looks good tho so we shall see.
week 1 of budding. my favorite part everything happens so fast no its awesome. ill get some pics later.

2 in the back still having a hard time not sure they are gonna make it. cant seem to get them back they were getting the same thing as the other 2 but i have had to put them back on just water and calmag. they must be sitting on a nuke pile or something.

mmm 18 -20 inch range or so. they might have been a little taller if they hadnt had issues. i have another one that has done pretty well from the start and is almost as tall as the others are now (lil over 2feet) and maybe 2 weeks or so behind.

they dont seem to really get tall anyway more bushy. i think some of the height will come as it buds. in veg the leaves seem more like fat and indica like and
now in flower they seem more long and skinny like sativa. looks like it was engineered to be scrogged the way it throws out nodes like a christmas tree or octopus.
i think if it has a name its gotta be mexican vishnu or something at least thats what it resembles to me.
if it is engineered to be like this it is genius. not too tall. tons of budding sites orif you play with it some you could basically make it one huge fat cola like a fire hydrant.

thanks low_ryder and esteban, the yellowing is pretty much squared away on the front two little residual left on early leaves, the back 2 just dont seem to want give it up. they are growing but not like they should i cant seem to change it for them. im just gonna see what happens. the new one in the middle had a minor issue as a seedling but has really come along nice. as long as i keep the water/nutes ph going in around the high 9's the runoffs are fine. if i get lazy and dont monitor it they will drop like a stone.Quote:

esteban i got lucky with both my blackdogs. they took off 200 beans each because they were backordered when i put my order in and the website didnt show them as unavailable. the 360 was like $600 and change and i forget what i paid for the 700. im sure there will be knock offs out there. ive seen a few with same exact housing so the light wont be far off. still i think right now anyway if you find a cheaper one theres gonna be reason for it. i looked at it this way if i spend $4800+ a year in herb getting a grow set up will ultimately be cheaper so putting the money in to the lights, while painful, was money well spent. even with all my dicking around and adding a rdwc set up is still well below the $4800 limit set myself. blackdogs are awesome lights but there plenty of others around just ask weezard and some others.

week 3 flower- seem to doin ok at least the healthier 2 anyway. the other 2 are still chugging along somehow. the newest one started showing some preflowers..its a girl...sweet. couple quik top shots until the light comes on later.

well mh and hps will always be around or at least for a good long while. once i get everything tweaked i think these lights will perform equal to their counterparts at the very least. they just have to get the cost down. i remember when hid was almost untouchable.

well, I don't know about HID lights being costly but they didn't come all set up with remote ballast and nice reflectors. We had to make do. In the UMass grow rooms 1975 we had two lamps per reflector, Sodium and Halide. The cooling was done by water jackets on the reflectors. You could stand there and watch beans grow!
universities and commercial greenhouses were the only places i remember seeing them back then, everyone else i knew had swiped them from warehouses and apartment complexes.

Plants are five weeks old and just started 12/12 lighting under (2) 400 watt HPS. I just started eighteen seeds that will be my two outdoor plants. Seeds are hybrid and have been growing in the hills of Switzerland for the last seven years. I hope to find my new outdoor strain stock.

Don't mind the positive rant.... Just luv the different techniques employed by all on this site. May it be HPS, LED, FLURO's so on & so forth. Grow room technologies & the list goes on for miles. Read so much info on this forum/elsewhere & need to say its a beautiful thing. One day our children's children will say AWESUM things on how this counter culture "thing of ours" was pioneered & honed to a Fck'n science with little possibility of fubars! Said it before & will say it again, we're following our '60s forefathers dream of revolution & saying once & for all "I'm sick & tired and I ain't gonna take it no more". Most peeps i had known have since passed But if they are able to visualize would be impressed & proud. Their sacrifice has not gone to def ears. You can continue this ongoing struggle of oppression by screaming out the window "Im sick & tired and I'm not gonna take it anymore" BUT, be forewarned, this will lead to a 5150 in Cali or whichever psych hold # it is in your neck of the woods!
