Nice RH. Ever heard Mike Oldfield?
Many are familiar with his music being used for the opening soundtrack for the Exercist, but this music is so much more than just that.

I stream somafm space station soma daily and I use a program that removes the audio from Youtube video's and downloads it in my music file. Free is good, plus Youtube has alot of hard to find music these days that Rhapsody and Napster dont.
@ RedLocks oh sorry, I thought by chance it was you. Someone on the board used the lyrics to "Very Serious Smokin' in their sig.
My bad:stoned:
Interesting genre.....I got into techno when I was in Poland..it was big along with 80s rock. Its good to broaden one's horizons. :D

Nice set...I used to go listen to a Reggae Band in a certain state in two different cities. Was a few years back, but I always got into Marley and that musical style. Love the rhythm. Marley and I have something in common and contemporary.

I can dig it. I definitely like to listen to that type of music too. Usually, I like to be doing something like drawing or even driving while I listen. I especially like to listen to percussive spacey music like Tangerine Dream.Quote:

If you have some time, check these out. I'd be interested in your opinion. Anyone else's for matter. :D
Michael McClure from OdysseyII
Isobel by Michael McClure on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
Summercussion by Michael McClure on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
Cousin Fungus from their album Thoughts of a Moth
Corner of My Eye by Cousin Fungus | Song | Free Music, Listen Now
Low Tide High by Cousin Fungus | Song | Free Music, Listen Now
Youtube is good, but has no Michael McClure at all and only some poorly recorded live songs of Cousin Fungus. That's why I had to post links. Don't worry these links with not take you to a sausage party.
:D
Yeah, I can dig this. Reggae and the movement to it in rhythm requires a double movement at the same time. The slight rhythmic up and down of the knees, and the swaying and moving of the arms.....together.....very hypnotic almost if one really gets into the music. Meditative dance!!!

Summercussion is a pretty cool tune. I played it for my wife and she said, "I feel like I should be wearing a pith helmet." :D
