WOW....these folks are tough guys LOL......they do realize that they are being tracked right.....up to their EXACT location.....with spy satellites.
Assange could face espionage trial in US - Crime, UK - The Independent
Take the Death Penalty off the table and its SuperMax time for Julia. I bet he will respect the authority of the bigger inmates..right alongside poor Brad Manning.
And where was Mr. Assange's super secret hideout.........well a U.K. Journalists Club of course.....thats where. SHOCKA.

Espionage charges are being written as I type this. Mr. Assange will be transfered to the U.S. with full support of U.K. Govt. And the members who are already being tracked for hacking prominent credit cards companies will be arrested slowly around the globe weekly.

It is really only a matter of political convenience that conservatives (wearing the color of the day) believe in limited government, challenging government power, and citizen checks on government overreach. If that were really part of their core believes then they would not have a problem with what WikiLeaks has done. It's instructive that a number of prominent conservatives have come out in support of WikiLeaks.
Ron Paul (Republican congressman from Texas) has come out as a strong defender of WikiLeaks: "What we need are more WikiLeaks", he said in a recent interview.
See the fox news clip here: Ron Paul: "What We Need Is More WikiLeaks On The Federal Reserve"
But see this article in The American Conservative by Jack Hunter which best outlines Republican doublespeak on this issue:
The Conservative Case for WikiLeaks
"Decentralizing government power, limiting it, and challenging it was the Foundersâ?? intent and these have always been core conservative principles," Hunter observed. "Conservatives should prefer an explosion of whistleblower groups like WikiLeaks to a federal government powerful enough to take them down."
ummmmmmm, yea dude.....RON PAUL is a Republican in NAME only. Kinda Like Joe Manchin is a Democrat by name only. Ron Paul is called an independent in Texas but joins with Republicans....cause he has NO shot with the Texas Democrat Party.
To be honest.....i could CARE LESS what the wikinerds do next....there has been ZERO massive revolt because of these stolen cabals(lol) and the world continues to move. Assange is weak little man who will either spend the rest of his life in prison or hiding from multiple hit teams from multiple countries.
Ron Paul also now heads the Federal Oversight Committee. Should be cool. The same guy whose mantra is "end the Fed."

Which of course proves the point that these leaks are largely meaningless. What these leaks have done is to expose the overuse of "state secrets" to cover up the true motives of the government. As you admitted above, there has been little blow back. Whatever the outcome, it is going to help define the limits of our lip service to freedom of the press.Quote:

However, there is alot of wiggle room for a defence attorney also.
If they were attempting to make themselves look like "martyrs" for freedom of info they screwed up when they attacked Mastercard and Visa and affected millions of innocent CIVILIANS. Not a smart move if your looking for positive public PR.
I also find it interesting that the ONLY World Leaders blabbing about this Julian cat are people like Putin KGB and Hugo "the fat socialist" Chavez.
All I know, if I was Assange, I would be watching my back everyday for the rest of my life if Im not in prison. The left wing journo's in London can only hide you at their super elite clubs and smoking lounges for so long Julian. Karma is a bitch.
