Its actaully not an auto flower strain. Im not positive, but im pretty sure its almost 100% indica. Really dense nugs, with wide, enormous fan leaves. My guess on final weight of that one plant is maybe 2 1/2 ounces, maybe.... Thats the only bad thing about the strain, its tasty but it yields poorly.
It was actually re vegged from one of my previous grows last December. Its a 7 month old plant that ive gotten 2 harvests out of. I wanted to re veg it again just for the fuck out it but i have clones of it so i just cut her all down.





the purple is coming down next...... i cant wait for her aroma to fill the air.

gave the purple plants their last blast of Nutrients today. I will be flushing them for the next 1 1/2- 2 weeks and waiting for the leaves to yellow a little bit. Not flushing plants can really kill the taste and smell sometimes.

actually i lied..... they got a little longer than i thought, i can probably get one more feeding out of them bitches. I really like that Bloombastic and i am noticing alot more Trichomes than on previous grows,

final weight on the first batch was 102 grams. 3 1/2 ounces if im correct.


I woulda guessed 2 1/2 but the buds are really dense. I like it when i get more than i expected.

looking great dru hey i got a question what are you cooling your lights with?

I dont cool my lights at all because the temps are pretty mild in Western Washington so it stays around 80-85 degrees without me needing extra ventilation. I just have aluminum wing reflectors.

Its not really the bulbs that raise my grow room temperature, its my ballast! Remove you ballast from your grow room if you can because those things get realllllyy hot.

Im gunna gather some funds from this harvest and invest in another 600 watt Lumatek, a good can fan, carbon filter and two cool tubes. Probably $700 in improvements, but i know its gunna be worth it in the end. My ventilation isnt adequate and its starting to really smell. Summer is coming so i know that im gunna need to cool my bulbs and deal with the odor.

are you for real those lights get hot lol i wish i lived were you do lol

its all good brotha, I got so high the other day I put the cereal in the fridge and my milk in my pantry when i was done with breakfast. I always have sympathy for stoned mistakes.

These babies are getting flushed and I plan on chopping them down down this saturday. Enjoy. I want to get a better camera and send some pics to hightimes.

Things are really starting to get heavy on these girls. Ive been giving them Silica Blast and ive noticed a huge difference in stem strength. They might bend, but they sure as hell wont break. Im guessing maybe 12 ounces per plant. Im hoping for 1 pound per plant, but i will be happy with whatever i get. We'll never know until i dry it and throw it on the scale.

As soon as i took them out of the flowering room that fell over. The stems were so hard from the Silica I gave them that I have to use wire cutters to cut the stems, scissors just wont cut it.

alright so i have some finished pictures for you guys.
1 weeks of drying. 2 weeks of curing in jars

I got a total of 20 ounces off of two plants.


The last picture is some of the bubble hash i made from the clippings.
I also got 13 grams of bubble hash from the clippings.


20 ounces and a half an ounce of hash is going to last me and my family a whiille. I still have one more monster to cut down, so i have maybe 8 more ounces on the way.


The smoke is very fruity with a hint of sour grapes at the end. Use a grape wrap to roll a blunt and its a real treat:thumbsup: Its kind of a soft smoke and caughing is rare even with a big bong toke.

Aroma is amazing and its the first thing people notice when they smoke it. Very sweet, fruity, and a slight smell of cheesecake. When smoked, the smell is kind of like cat piss and kind of skunky,


Potency is great despite it being a purple strain. Its a creeping stone that takes 10 minutes to fully take effect. It makes me kind of anxious, and the sativa influence really fries my brain.

Silica is just awesome stuff. I've got bone shears that couldn't cut through the stems of my plants once you add silica!

just weighed the other plant dry today and Had a 15 ounces total. I had two of my biggest coals fall victim to mold so i am postitive i would have gotten a pound off of this single plant.


the First plant i Harvested was 103 grams.

the two purple plants gave me 561 grams.

This last plant gave me 421 grams.

2.5 pounds total dry weight.
thats total of 1085 grams from 1250 watts of flowering light. That first plant yielded like shit or else i would have surpassed my "gram per watt" goals.

But my question here is.... What method did you use to cure?:D

That purple strain is an epic yielder for sure. I cant remember ever seeing bigger purple buds than that. Shes a keeper!

I cut each big stem off and hang it upside down for 8 days. I keep a fan in there to circulate air and I keep them in the complete darkness. When the out leaf stems snap off, i throw them in jars.(not the big inner stem, i dont like them that dry) I take the lid off 3 times a day for 10 mintues and move all of the nugs around. Now over the next couple of weeks your going to notice a drastic increase of the smell, taste, and bag appeal of the bud. 2 weeks is usually good enough, but the longer you cure it the better its gunna taste and smell.

Now the Grow bible says you should wait until the stems snap until you toss them in the jars. I find that method makes my bud too dry.

I'll second that:thumbsup: I usually hang about 5 then they get cut off the large stems and into an open jar for a couple days. Then I'll start the sealing and opening. I like the texture that comes out if you get them to dry out slowly, almost like the bud rips when you break into a nugget.

yes sir i agree, the slower the drying and curing the better the product.

just had someone call me and tell me that the hash i hooked them up with was too powerful. They smoked alittle of it and dont want it anymore haha It makes me feel really good about myself when my product gets peole so high they freak out. SCWWWEEEEETTTTT! haha

Hey Drudown, I was wondering if you could hook me up with a link to the silica that you use and mentioned in my grow log. So far I have only found this stuff >

GroWell > Liquid Silicon (Is this the right stuff?)

But I could do with finding alternatives as that grow shop is quite far from me.

Anything like GroTek Pro-Silicate, etc. It's all the same stuff, maybe slightly different concentrations and different silicates. Some use sodium silicate, some use potassium silicate.

I know this is an old post but I've decided to try your technique on my next grow, the 4 I will be using is trainwreck, blue mystic, G-13 Gigabud, and green poison. I'm intrigued to find out my results, I cannot wait to see how this all turnes out, I'll also be using the same chems as you. I'm motivated!
