can you tell me what sup with GrassRoots? im a fairly new patient and i have only been hearing bad things about them and have not even been able to get in to contact with them at all no replys to my e_mail or letters iv been sending in the mail??????????????
i would juz like to add to the info u got, another reason that product isnt always in z because the 96 plant count z rediculas. 96 plants would only realisticly support 4-8 really bad cancer patients for the duration of the cycle of harvest. a seriously bad cancer patient going through kemo will apox. go through an OZ a week! so if your good at Math then u can do the numbers. if not ither the people regulating the producers are ignorent or there juz setting up the program for failer.

Not sure what is going on with GRRX....I was approved by them but simply cannot log into their site. I have sent a few emails but have not received a response back. I am sure they are good people and may just be experiencing some problems with their site. I hope they get the issues resolved shortly.
The emails I have recieved from them say that they will open the site once they have meds available. They said they are gonna send out a mass email once there is a harvest ( apparently soon, but we will see ) and the site will be opened up after that.....They told me between the 14th and the 17th, but as of yet....nada.
SWOP and NewMexicann are not affiliated but are friendly, working with each other to help the NM MCP community. They are separate entities.

Has anyone had any quality issues, I was not pleased at all with the quality of all 3 strains I purchased. Sure seems a "professional grower" should have good product..... looked ok minus the very important tricomes, taste, and smell like some "ok" schwag without the seeds.
I have had no quality issues. Maybe your expectations are very high?
While I thought grassRoots provided decent meds, I have found much better outside of the system. About 1/2 way from pulling in some of my own and it's going very well, if I can do what I'm doing in my not-so-great conditions, I'd think they'd have the conditions and experience to grow some serious chronic.

I have been registered with them since early feb and i have never had access to thier site nor have i ever heard of them having medication so for all of you that are waiting for them its probably going to be a long one i would say go through another..i personally recomned swop. I was getting good meds (in the sticks of eastern nm) prior to getting my nmdoh card, now I obviously can't buy illegally and risk loosing it, the stuff I was sold for meds looks like someone took seeds out of different bags of "mexican brick" and grew them. It looks ok, but is by far the worse "grade" priced cannabis I've ever bought. I have my personal production license but dont know what to do from there, I was told that it was illegal to purchase or obtain clones and/or seeds from the producer, which seems odd, any suggestions.

GRRX actually got in touch with me, got me registerd and am I able to access their site, unfortunatly It does me no good for I am 300 miles round trip from any of the producers. But when I did check yestrerday GRRX was out of most of their product. Good people all the way around in this program but unfortunatly their hands are tied and I am sure they are completlety overwhelmed with demand. I stopped trying becuase it is just impossible for me to even think of travling that far every 2 weeks or so. I pray it gets better and I hope Vigil will actually let some producers begin their operations further north,, Shit and lower these God awfull prices 400.00 an ounce? 15 a gram? thats not compassion. At 7% tax we could do our brothers and sisters better then that. Colorados is 25% + tax and their prices are the same?..... so why such a high base line in New Mexico? I missed it becasue they never send me any information and when i call i never get a hold of someone and nobody calls me back. I have been a card holder since feb and i have only gotten info about availability from 2 producers. They ALL have all my paper work since feb. So that is why But you know it doesnt matter i am growing my own i will not need to buy from them. A word of advice from people wanting to get thier card get your grow certifcate as well becasue the program is not worth anything other then prodcuing for yourself.Quote:

Agreed, they have over 600 patients and have never been out when I've called. Heck, my first order they bumped me to morning delivery because of my chemo tx.
I was able to procure 7g of the OG Kush/Trainwreck. This week they used a callback system, I got on the list late but still got delivery to the door.
What I wouldn't give to have a cutting of that medicine, the finest cannabis I've used in terms of effectiveness. The cure was short so it was harsh but not so short as to have no flavor.
Ok, I will never be able to afford their or any other prices nor will I ever even try. But GRRX tried their best to help me and work with my financial situation but in the end it would become a problem and impossible. I respect them for even thinking of a way they could help and they gave me there best. My wife takes care of my meds../ I don't have insurance and no disability. We live on the bare min. I use to make over 78,000 a year and of course thought the world was my oyster, huh funny how God likes to knock us on our asses to help us realize we are mearly just human beings.:thumbsup:

Yeah, I 'was' a pretty well to-do computer engineer before I got cancer. Now, I'd settle for just about any job. Been doing some interviewing on the phone in the last week, hopefully I'll get lucky.
As for the concept of growing because this program doesn't work, kind of silly. Growing is very hard to get medical quality cannabis, I don't think it's something most people can or would want to handle.
I got the AK quatro siete,OK to me,tasted too much like schwag although it obviously had hints of good flavor. The buds wear airy and really dry,IMO.
Now Flo was IMO very flavorful and nice especially for the price.
I liked Moby Dick the best of the three I have to say...flavor,density and not too dry.
Those wear my first "med grades" and I am happy. The smell was so deceiving! At first I was disappointed but within 3 hours I had them triple bagged and still could smell that sweet alfalfa like smell.
My suggestion for Grass is to maybe use a cooler for delivery w/ some of those things that you freeze wrapped in a towel,something to battle this killer heat. An vehicle's AC doesn't cut it. This stuff is like gold to me and I think it needs to be kept in such regard until it gets in our hands. In a perfect world I'd like my trics on my bud and not stuck to the bag.

You are correct,, Growing is an art form, it is alot of trial and error, detail, knowledge, excperience and some decent understanding of Botany. It is one of those things you just get better at with time but still, is pretty tricky. I think I was lucky I was raised on a 3200 acre ranch / farm and learned alot about growing crops:) I am ready to try inside though, but like I say still waiting on my personal production. Now getting medical quality? My outside stuff is good but? never had to many people try it. Those that did never complained thats for sure:) How was that last crop you did Anonymouse? and what kind of strains are considerd a medical strain?
