So Rebgirl420 is back from hibernation and she has some great news!

Conan took failed tv station NBC to the cleaners!!! That whole situation was hystericle. Funniest part of it all is that JEFF ZUCKER still heads NBC right now.....along with his disgusting friend Jeff Immelt who profits from money deals with Iran and heads GE ands sits on Obama's board. That whole network is begging to be investigated. MSNBC too.

I think we should get back on topic guys, Rebgirl didn't make this thread for you guys to bicker back and forth about whether its okay to smoke while pregnant or the morality behind it? She's happy with her situation and its not for us to judge. Some woman choose to do crack while pregnant those are the ones we should worry about.

The Conan comment was directed at Rebgirl. It wasn't meant to take this thread off course. If you've been here long enough you may have heard her Conan story so it was a tongue in check comment directed to her. I would rather this not become a discussion on the failures at NBC.

Well people, thanks for the wonderful comments. I understand that everyone has a right to their opinions. As far as morals are concerned, I've never smoked cigs and I don't drink, I've never even had a speeding ticket. I'm a nerd who likes playing xbox and scrabble for fun. I figure if smoking a little weed in my situation is what makes me have shitty morals then thats your opinion.

But regardless, thank you everyone, no matter what you believe about the whole issue.

I know I am going to try my hardest to be the best mother I can be. Having cancer when I was younger put my priorities in order. Education was always my parents number one priority when I was growing up and it will be the same in my household. I work, I've always worked and those morals, such as the fact that no one owes you a damn thing, for example will carry on.

My niece got pregnant at your age, and she has a beautiful baby girl and she is going to nursing school, juggling a lot. It is not easy but it can be done. You just won't have as many years of irresponsibility as most of us did-:stoned:D

What's fucking retarded is risking the well-being of your child to get high. All of those negative effects are directly related to smoke inhalation, not just cigarettes. I suppose you'd need some cognitive ability to figure that out.

I would not doubt that EATING marijuana while pregnant is healthy... It is a very nutrient rich plant after all...

I'm sorry I get heated over this issue. I've seen the effects of smoking during pregnancy first hand and I've come to believe that smoking ANYTHING while pregnant is just selfish. Having a baby is not something you just do one day, you need to prepare yourself and make sacrifices. Even if its something as ridiculous as simply buying and using a vaporizer :eek:

What is the law regarding this? I guess it probably varies from state to state, but i recently talked to someone else on another forum who is pregnant and she says that she gave it up altogether, not even vaping, because apparently they can test her baby when it is born for traces of MJ and if they find any then they have the power to take it from her! Smoking tobacco is ok though...

In Texas.....for a fact....its only those unlucky enough to have Medicare that have to conform to all those drug screens and tests and shit. We smoked the ENTIRE way through both our kids terms in the womb and they are livin the dream now.....my 5 year old is in AP Kindergarden (as if that means shit)..... all govt bullshit about marijuana and fetuses.

Because my girlfriend tested positive for cannabis, a social worker had to come out to our house. My girlfriend told her that smoking cannabis saved her baby's life. I mentioned the Dr. Drerer study. As she was leaving, she said she was going to drop our case, and that there are worse things that they are worried about.

Is that American Dialect or something? Worse things? I wasn't sure how she put it, but, like a crossword puzzle, that's what seemed to fit.

You have my congrads, but I have 3 kids, and believe me... IT SUCKS! I hate kids, but my wife loves them which is all that matters. Don't get me wrong; I'm not one of them kinda people that beat my kids or anything crazy like that; I just didn't care to have any. Oh, I know what you mean. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a dead-beat father. I take care of my kids and make sure they have food, clothes, and basic essentials. Basically what I was trying to say is that I didn't want kids. Children get on my nerves. There is just something about a creature that cannot fend for it's self that irritates me. Now, I know they'll grow up and have that capability because we all go through it. I dunno, it's kinda hard to put into words.. I don't hate my kids. In fact I love them.. I just never thought I would.

I think I know what you mean bro. I got married and had kids young too.

It's the responsibility. It's not just about yourself anymore. Caring for and teaching developing people is challenging and there are no breaks. I found myself pining for my carefree days as well.

Trust me, they are worth it. Give them love and teach them right and they will reward you in ways you can't understand now. :thumbsup:

I'm back, as my other thread says. I smoked until the last 2 months. I was clean for the birth and my daughter was a healthy weight and is absolutely perfect. I love her more than anything. Rob and I are so happy :)
