here the rest of the pics of VEGG closet
only a sample i will make a complete gallery later this week..
still too lazy. lol ;)
so here are some little questions that i got..
it has been almost 5 days..(?) since i watered fed the babies
now i am kinda wondering why so long and are they due for more then they have been getting? when the leaves just start to wilt is that a good time or is that too long?
is there any reason to have the air temps above 75?? i have had them fairly consistent at 73 F but it varies at times because i leave a heat vent open or other  moments that i have... lol
sorry to be long winded and all responses always welcome
merry christmas
-J
Sounds good for the watering, I like to stick my finger about an inch into the soil in the corner & if it's wet I wait. Don't know about benefits of higher heat, I've never grown anything under 75 lol, freaking concrete jungle in the middle of a desert...
Theres a difference between drooping and wilting, slight drooping is fine, wilting is not! Wilting means the plant is already damaged due to heat stress or water stress or whathaveyou.
Ideal growing temp is supposed to be 77-78 f for maximum photosynthesis, but your temps are perfect in my opinion.
Good job and happy growing, good luck with the snow up there.
placed my finger in the buckets,
they were dry as shit so i watered them and fed with 2 tablespoons of Neptune's and one tablespoon of molasses.. i think there is some little micro nutrient deficiency. i cant tell what it is but i think that it cant be too bad cause they are still growing faster and faster..
some of the bottom leaves are still turning brown and shriveling up, slowly.
there are some little spots on the leaves but they are all old and no new ones have appeared in the last week.
fed the vegetative plants yesterday with one tablespoon of same nutrients. they are all really growing vigorously and have put on a few cm of height and most of the older plants are starting to throw out side shoots. the younger plants are still catching up and in a week i will probably top both batches to even out the canopy. i plan to turn this second batch into mothers after i find put which ones are female.
i also cut a clone off one of the girls that started to flower first and placed it directly into a cup of soil. i am going to make a second cutting off tomorrow and place in into a peat cube and a third one with cloning powder into a cube too.
hope everyone had a great x-mas and have a merry new year..:thumbsup:

little update..
i gave all of the pots a lift and they all seem to need water AGAIN!
so tomorrow at lights on i am going to give them all a dose of straight water and see how that treats them..
here are some pics
first one is the vegetative 'room'
second is plant #4
third is bud on #4
fourth is plant #3
fifth is bud on #3
enjoy the pics

the second picture above was a hermie :(
i cut him/her down and harvested what i could off her/him...
im gonna get hammered now!!

well i finally got enough extra cash together to get my hands on the last part of the veg transplant.. the pots were the last thing i needed. so last night i picked up 10 new 6 inch round pots.
i checked the root ball of a couple of the babes in veg and i fond them to be nearly root bound..
since the soil was dry i took the opportunity to move the larger plants to their new home for the next month..
here are some pics and the last pic is one of the smaller babes but look closely at the leaf in the pic... and count the leaflets.
has anyone ever seen this??:cool::thumbsup:
hope everyone is getting ready for the new year and is having fun...
-J
From the pics you posted the other day.....Number 4's looking really good for having a month to go!
how much would you say was on her now if you had to chop and dry her today mainegrown?
I'm trying to gague how much i'll end up with.... I'd say I'd maybe only get about half ounce if I had to chop and dry my girls now..... :( I hope the bitches start to fatten up...
i got just over an eighth off her/himQuote:

lets hear it for having a second batch of plants to introduce to the DIG when i want to.. currently i am just waiting for them to branch enough for me to clone the lot of em.
hope the holiday treats you good monny

i watered all of the girls today with straight H20..
they were looking a lil droopy and really needed the water.
about a min after watering the intense smell of weed rolled through the house.
on that note i am just about to the middle of the third season of weeds
here are some random pics from about a min ago..
some of the plants are showing leaves that are pointing almost straight up, is that ok?
and they are all budding nicely now.
hope ya'll have a nice new years
-J
i transplanted half of the veg girls yesterday/day before and wanted to post some pics showing the vigorous new growth on them.
and the last pic is of the he/she that i chopped but couldnt finish off.. (that will be a LOT of Patron)..
Lookin good maine. Yeah my oldest girl in flower has at least 1/3 of her leaves with even numbers...usually 6 or 8, thought it was weird but good to know someone else has these mutants! Now I just need one with three sets of leaves/branches!
ah well at least you got sumthin man! :) I bet it smokes a thousand times better just wit the fact that you grew it yourself!Quote:

I have been told its not good to have plants that look like they are praying. I don't know what that means but from time to time mine do that. If someone does actually know I would as well like to know.
Ah sucks about the hermie! But this way you can tell yourself its ok to chop it verses having to wait for the others.
happy new year.. kinda late but better then never..
the 11 girls in the flower cab are doing GREAT.. they have started to really stink.. i was awoken this evening by the overpowering stench of the weed. i will post pics tomorrow right before the light come on so everyone can get a nice view of how they are doing..
now the plants in veg are also doing good. i had to raise the cfl's up a couple inches so that they wouldnt be touching the leaves any more..
the really good news is that they have all started to show sax and so far 4 out of 5 are female.. there are 7 more plants to show but i have high hopes of 100% female rate.. i topped all of the confirmed females to help hasten the clone-ability of my new mothers.. i really want to start a SoG in the DIG SOON!!
what are the odds really?
going to feed at 'dawn' for all plants and will post pics then..
the only question i have is how long do i have until the Moms are ready to bear children?? and how long do the shoots have to be to be cloned?? thanks for stopping in
-J
Leaves pointing upwards, mine always have leaves pointing upwards, until I water it...then they point downward....and upward again!
so its kinda like the muslims praying right?? ;)Quote:

mid 80's..youre fine! went up to high 90's in my closet, and everything is fine!Quote:

sorr bout the quality i was taking the pics in the dark right before the lights came on... i will post more soon if more are wanted...
trying to get the lighting right for quality shots..

here are some picture of the buds that are forming..
i think that the PH adjusted water i fed the girls has started to fix the problem and if it has then i am VERY happy.

more
and more..
the last picture is right at 'dawn'... very bright!
Try focusing on the buds itself while taking photos, not on the leaves, because buds are all foggy.
I don't bother with ph, straight water from the tap, sitted for 24h. Slight amount of nutes every 2 waterings. Done the job so far!
Scrapped a 60$ ph meter I had with last years grow, dropped it in a bucket of water trying to do 5 things at a time. So screw the ph.
If plant has very big nutelock or anything, a good bath will do the job! Warm water from the tap directly to the plant, let it flow through it, at least 10 liters. A real big flush!
Anyway, they look alright, aside the yellowing of some leaves.
Edit: for pics, looks like you were not on macro mode! maybe it's just that
i will try to find macro mode...
thanks for the tip bro
It's a "flower" icon, hehe. For taking pics of flower, you know, pistils and all, trichomes too. :DQuote:

the rest of the veg plants have started to show sex and another 4 are female... that makes 9 out of 11... great odds if you ask me.. idk whats up wid that but im not gonna poke a gift in the mouth.. feel me?
about to move most of the flowering girls over to a new and very large container... i think that they have a major problem getting their feet out and about.. i think that my problems are a mix of lack of nutes/way root bound..
gonna put all but the tall 'Leggs" into one big tub... around 50 gal for the last 4 weeks of the flower... i am hoping that they perk up when they have room to grow!!
-MG
They are looking great man!
Rootbound & nutes
I think thats been my fuck up on my grow too maine... But you never know until you grow which size of pots to start with eh'
a lesson for us both I think!.... :)
yea we learn as we go.. i am SO going with 5 gal buckets and probably DWC when ever i have a mom and a dialed in set up..
then back to the learning curve again... lol
such is life
-MG
p.s. pics in an hour if anyone cares
here are some bud shots..
i know i have a kinda major deficiency gonna get cal mag or something..
if that sounds wrong holla at me and i WILL listen.. i have done everything in my power with what i got and it aint doing it :(
-MG
.....
.....
Great macros dude! Flowers are forming nicely!! Does it smells good? :D
very very good smelling..
i have air fresheners all through the house..
i have no fear of being busted way out in the sticks but i DO have people over occasionally and the dank smell of GB wafting through the house would be kinda a big tip off.. i also burn incense ALL the time so it kinda has a weird smell here.
i am gonna be making a carbon filter now that i have found a local source for activated carbon and i will post the pics on my log when i get around to building one..
i personally love the smell of my growing crop..
-MG
Smell's everything! You wanna know if your milk is good? Smell it. Wanna see if your p*ssy's good? Smell it!
It's all in the nose!
