I dont think Iv posted what Im using for lights atm. I have 1 90w LED UFO. It only puts out 3650 lumens. The UFO is a 660nm/630nm red and 460nm blue. I have 4 23watt 2700k putting out 1600lums each, 3 40w 2700k putting out 2600lums each and 2 40w 6500k putting out 2600lums each as well. Totaling 23040 Lumens over a 3*3*4. They love it.

I was sorta nervous as around this time last run the buds had been putting on weight for about a week, but I seeing them today only makes me wonder how big they can get in 2 weeks lol. Meds for all. Only thing is I wish I kept a clone of the L.A woman and the jack 47. All i got clones of is my mutant mother plant lol.

if it maks you feel any better my pig munched one of my OG plants. it was about 15-18" tall. it was about to get some cuttings taken so i had it sitting out.....and that bitch munched it down to a 5" stub. so needless to say it's getting reveged as we speak. lol.

Wow Headshake, further proof that all kinds of animals are drawn to the sexy allure of the cannibus plant, and so we should keep them separated. I've heard many a horror story about cats and dogs munching on a grow in progress, but until now never a pig story!

And more props to EnhAnceD for providing further evidence as to the power of of growing with newfangled efficient lighting methods. I'm running two 45 watt LED panels with two cheapo 15 watt CFL bulbs for vegetative cycle, but I'm not confident enough to bud under them. Your grow here may just convince me that higher efficiency, lower power-draw light sources (like LEDs) can pump out the buds with the best of them.

Wow! Our grow is realy close when it gets to power! I got 4x 42w 2600lumens each + 8x 23w 1600 lumens each + 1x 13w "red cfl" ~800 lumens. All 2700k. ~450w total and ~24 000 lumens.

Very comparable!!!! I'm happy to see that i'm not alone with that sort of set-up!!

Thanks for the props caregiver. I am certain that with perfect environment, soil, nutes, and the right amount of these lights nice fat buds are possible but mostly we get nice tops. Sog and SCROG grows are wat is recommended for cfl.led users b.c the light just isnt strong enough to penetrate the canopy. I am very satisfied with my setup. Im currently working on clones that Ive topped to see if by eliminating all of the other branches it will focus and make nice fat nuggets on just a few branches. we will see.

Now that I think about it im not sure why I didnt look it up but she looks good. I dont think Im going to buy these Jack47 seeds again tho. Their leaves would grow all fucked up all the time I found. And if you look at some of the jack buds there leaves are all going wierd with somesort of nut looking def but only the J47s look like there doing it, not the L.A. I dunno. Seems to me shes just eating away at herslef for whatever it is im not giving her. Can anyone direct me to a source where I can get CalMeg b.c I think it may be that. I dunno, I need to invest in some FF nutes as well b.c my schultz superbloom burns the tips of ma girls even at half ste so. Anyways. its about 10:30 am this fine Monday morning, the sun is shining right in my window whish is rare for this time of year and I feel great. I flowered them for 64.5 days...Two weeks before harvest I stopped nutes and only gave em 1 TSP of Botanicare Sweet and 1 tsp of molasses per gallon...The final week they got nothing but 2 tsp of FinalFlush per gallon...
This is a very uniform and potent stain...I'm sure you'll be getting the color you're lookin' for in the near future...

I estimate that the Jack47 was 20% amber when harvested...

All of my plants get Botanicare Sweet throughout the grow,veg + flower...Helps add bulk imo...I like to give em the molasses and Sweet during the first week of flush for the same reason...Sweet is optional as it's sorta pricey...I buy it by the gallon online as it's cheaper than my local hydro stores...I buy my molasses online as well...I use Organic non sulphered BlackStrap molasses...It's like a treat for the plants when I'm not giving them nutes...It smells good when it's mixed and I feel like drinkin' this shit myself sometimes,lol...

My L.A Woman was harvested at either 65 or 66 days...I'd call it 65.5...

Keep up the good work man...Nice growin'...

Yup, no nutes, nothing but plain oll water. Im glad that I was able to get the info from DT as for how long I have until Harvest. 14 More days. I was kinda thinking my buds were a bit small, and compared to DTs L.A woman and Jack47 he blew me outa the water.

Hmm. Well Im still a new grower. First grow was this last year in the summer so I guess I have about 4 more years to yeild what youve been yeildin, plus get into a nice house where I can set up with Mh/Hps LIghting. I really appreciate your help with these dates for when I can expect to crop. DT do you really think that tier mothod opps for such a larger yield. I wold just think it would be hard to water the top, the roots on the outside would dryup and die buttt youd be able to have the roots go down much further down.
DT I wanna grow weed like you haha. Those buds in ur L.A woman/mkultra thred were SOOOOOOO FUCKING FATTT. I think my buds now are getting big your were like at least 5-8 times fatter and bigger. FAK. Anyways, ill get there, ull all see. hahaha.

Yea she is a very skunky lady. Solid buds as well. I wish tho I had of trained her a bit more and longer. Shes gonna be a tasty.
The Jack47s have a beautiful aroma and Ill bet they pack a massive punch.

Im currently working on a new flower box. ITs so much fun. I love building stuff with cardboard and duck tape hehe. I got 3 outtake fans and two intake fans. Im going to make some sort of vent that covers over top the vents and curves down so that light cannot enter. Ill be done today, been working on her all night. Sorry this took so long, i still didnt quite finish the cab, but its about 90% done. I dropped a cfl in my bedroom and it broke. FUckin bitch to clean up and your not supposed to breathe that shit, the internet says to leave to room for 15-20 minutes then sweet up what you can then use a damp cloth for the rest.......such a bitch. I had a very long and frusterating day, havin a closet full of delicious herbs and not actually having my own bag was getting to me. Im going to fill the cab up with my clones and I think I might try and Flower them all inside her in a scrog, just gotta find a nice screen, might have to make one.

Ill get some up of my new Cab Tomorrow. This post is about an hour 45ms old lol. I guess the server has maintenance at 1AM where I live, It gets really anoyin as Im usually online and posting when its restarts or w.e happenes. I got all 16 girls inside and just watered them. All ready to go. I have 8 23 watt cfls 4 2700k 4 6500k putting out a total of 12800 lumens, gonna make some sort of screen for it and off we go to the races. I clipped a small leaf off one of the jacks and checked under ma scope, triches still look clear to me but Im gonna try n get a good Macro with my cam.

I just set up a bin setup with one 105w cfl bulb for my new seedlings.

I had a friend have one of his 105w cfl bulbs melt because of no circulation and he said there was smoke everywhere and opened a window asap. But since you only dropped it i bet its not that bad. (even though it contains mercury)

Ya its happened before, you just need to let it settle then clean it up, it was justa real bitch at the time as I was really busy and wasnt in the mood for takinga 20m break and cleaning up broken glass. Shit happens what can I say.

Keep that cfl close as you can get it 1 inch if u can from ur new seedlings, it will keep them small and not have long stretchy stem. :hippy:

I took a clipping, more like a whole branch from my jack47. I clipped all the leaves off and it wied up at 2.5 wet. I took .3 and busted it right up and vaporized it dry. My fingers feel fat and are not connected to my brain, meaning......I cant type. I keep having to backspace.....hmmmmm.....i feel fucked. lol.

Today was supped to be my 8weeks of flowering. I found out that this stain as well as my L.A woman flower in about 8.5 to 9 weeks leavin them with about 10-20% amber trichs. I see no amber trichs anywhere, but they doo look a bit cloudy.

This upcoming sunday is cut down day. With those 3 out, Im going to move the 16 topped clones into the flower cab for my first scrog. Iv already removed the lower growth and my cannopy is relativly even with shoots coming up, just need a screen.

I was going to leave the 16 within my new cab but since im going to be Scrogin I thought I would throw my mother in there and flower here.

Enough talk, i feel like Iv been writing for an hour.

I always dread breaking a light bulb! That sucked for sure. It will soon be forgotten in your mind once this next week is over and its CHOP time! I hate being out when there is a whole cab full but just not ready enough to chop..ugh but samples are nice. Nice work on the cab if you haven't bought a screen yet check out metal cloth it comes in sizes like 1 or 2 inch or even bigger squared screen.

ya Iv broke a few, its not the end of the world I just hate the thought that I might be dieing from mercury poisening. I will deff check out that metal cloth, iv checked around...walmart, canadian tire, i cant find anything remotly close, I dont really want to go to home depot or home hardware but i might just have to, prolly gonna have to by a whole role of it to.

I have bad news and good news. Bad news is about a month ago i found a small flower on one of the really mutant clones, i clipped it off and thought nothing of it. Welll Iv found seeds in my 5 clones that are coming along nicely. The buds are very airy looking, nothing like the jack47 or L.A. Havnet tested yet as they have 3-4 weeks left, but there are big fluffy buds.

I think Im going to cut down one of my Jacks today, today was to be my 8 week crop date, but I cant find a single amber trich and my 60x microscope isnt really helping me to distinguish if the trichs r cloudy, but it gets me baked so, well have to see how the night goes.

Cameras Battery is charging, will get some pics up hopefully tn.

I think i'm seeing ambers on mine....Cutting down next week-end!!!

Be patient...And try to distinguish the cloudy and the clear ones..

Being patient is much to hard. I didnt chop anything down yet. Im going to wait. Im not watering the 3 any more as to help pull that last of the chem taste out of the plant for food and to help the plant dry faster. They have 6 more days until they should be about 10% amber. Hopefully the leaves get nice a yellow. I plan on leaving the lights out for her all friday saturday and sunday. Iv read this this will shock the plant and help it produce much more resin. We shall see how this works, it cant harm her in 3 days right?

I thought about flushing her one more time but I dont think she really needs it, i flushed hers 2 weeks ago and have been using only water since. Anyways, on some other notes. I have the clones all nice and close in a SoG in my new cab, its running 24/7 past few days and no problems. Temps stay at 80f all the time which is good and the humidity is 24-25% which is a plus as well, the thermometer is hanging from the cord that is between both lamps which is why its that temp I think. Iv been debating with my wife if we should just flower her in the new cab or if at the end ofthe week we should put them all into my large flower room as the 3 will be finished then. Only thing is I still have the 5 flowering clones that have about 2-3 weeks left. Bad news about them clones, I found a flower a while back and it opened the smalled bit and polin got on all 5 of them, they were kinda all close together, so Iv already picked off seeds, not the end of the world, Ill have some decent Fem seeds for future grows and friends and the buds wont be that bad either.

So Big mamma is flowering in the wall cub along with the 3 near finished and the 5 clones with 2-3 weeks left. Probably going to flip the new cardboard cubby in abotu 3-4 days, need a few more branchs to reach up. Lots of decisions and lots of budsssss. Cant wait. Ill get some pics up shortly havein a problem with my battery, think its time for a new one.

i've heard the claims, no first hand knowledge however. the "bible" from cervantes says you can do it for 24 hours before harvest. either way, let us know which way you go and what the results are!

also, what type of water are you using to flush? if you are using tap, depending on what's in it, they might not yellow. keep in mind your tap will run some where in the neighborhood of 250-750ppm. so they are getting some food regardless of if you are feeding or not. it is recommended to use distilled water (or reverse osmosis water) to prevent this.

also, what type of water are you using to flush? if you are using tap, depending on what's in it, they might not yellow. keep in mind your tap will run some where in the neighborhood of 250-750ppm. so they are getting some food regardless of if you are feeding or not. it is recommended to use distilled water (or reverse osmosis water) to prevent this.

Hey there Shake, nice of you to stop in. Thanks for the comment, always apprecitated. I have cervantes grow bible and actually havnt read any in a while, lol, im too comfortable with my knowledge, what I remember from somewheres else was just that simple stresses can increase resin production. If found with the plants Iv grow so far that Bending branches and even breaking them very gently early and mid flower will help put on the crystal, Iv gone as far to proove this with my 2 Jack47s, Jack1 I did this on the main stem and on many side branches, gentle bending, gentle breaking, the other Jack 2 I did gentle bending no breaking. Jack1 has a very noticable amount of extra trichs than Jack2 that was only bent. Whats interesting here is that the plant, Jack 2 has fuller, id say larger buds than the more crystaly Jack 1. Im going to assume that the extra stress I applied on Jack1 slowed down her growth somewhat as Iv had very few small problems, they both grew pretty much exactly the same.

BTw I never enter the forum without first smoking a nice fat one, which is why I tend to write novels, sorry everyone.

My water. I use tap water. How my water works is pretty much as follows. In the early morning I will fill up about 10 2L pop bottles with 2cups of straight from the tap. I have 3 4L water jugs that I do the same but with 4 Cups of tap. Generally I will let that sit for a bit, if not until the next day where I will Brita Filter 2 cups again into each 2L bottle and another 4L into each 4L Jug.
Brita filters work great. They soften the water, lower the ph of the water and kills the chlorine. Doing this will get me 6.2-4 ph. When Im using nutes, as I cant get my hands on anything decent I use Schultz super bloom or something 10-50-10 and Ill use pure brita water 2L of it and my PH comes out being about 6.2-5.

The clones are looking very nice, I need to rearage a few, some branches are getting much bigger. Big Momma is tied down like a crazy woman in the corner of my cab literally. SHes been in there Id say a week and a little and white pistles are shooting out all over the place. SHake I agree I cant wait to see this 4 month Vegged plant flower up. Shes gonna be a beauty. Ill take some pics in a short bit and get em up, should just do it now but such a task with all they plants.

Oh and before I go. Just this morning I snipped a fresh piece of the L.A woman. I vaped maybe 5-6 puffs, started to feel the head high, then I rolled it up with a bit of my dry herbs and BOY o BOY, my brain feel tight, i can really feel any muscule movement in my head for sure. Very nice so far, another few days and a good 2 weeks of cure, this shit should be the bomb.

First off I want to say sorry no pics yet, soooooon. I promise.

I watered Big Mamma, the 5 flowering Big Mamma Clones which have about 3 weeks left. I watered all the clones in my new cab. temps are perfect and humidity is great to. I thought I might have a problem with air pressure as I have 2 small fans on the bottom pulling air in a two sides and 3 Fans at the top but its working perfect.

My 3 Flowering Girls are so close to Harvest Iv been tasting it hahaha. Buddy came over yesturday with a few blunts and we had a very very nice sesh with the L.A woman. Im smoking a blunt right now, about half way and IM BAKED. SKULL feels 5 pounds heavier but its a laughing high mixed with massive munchies. I cant wait to properly dry this and cure it.

Whats going on now is I have the L.A woman up in a random cupboard that is light proofed. She has been there since last night at 11 when lights out. She will sit there in the dark until tonight at 11pm when I will Harvest her sweet sexy ass. I read about this technique in Cervantes Grow Bible. He says by doing this for 24 hours will cause the plant to pump out extra resin. I also have read about this on seed bank site for white widow and white rhino strains, theyve suggested a week or more of 24 hours dark. We will see tn how she turns out. Again tonight what I will do at 11 when I remove the L.A I will replace her with the smaller more resinous of the jacks till tomorrow night at 11 and repeat with the last. Im excited guys, ill go take some pics at 11 when the lights turn on.

Oh I also found this odd link due to a post I read on the furoms. ITs interesting to say the least and if actually true is very sad. Smoke a blunt and take a few to check it out.

So I let Miss L.A woman Sit in a dark room for 24 hours and harvested her late the night before last, thursday night. At that time I had added one of the Jack47s and I actually Pulled her earlyer last night around 8-9pm. Upon completion which in total probably took me about 7-10 hours for all 3 plants. I got cought up smoking during harvest and watching a movie, took a break. I would scrap my snipps after every branch for resin cuz they would get too sticky and I made a nice ball which Ive just smoked and I am rippeddd.:D Im very impressed and I believe I havested at the perfect time for the kind of high I want. I took a nap friday night at 11 until 2am saturday morning and decided that I wanted to crop the other Jack47. I want this all to dry around the same time and get cured at the same time.

I have 5 Clones which I will harvest in 3 weeks. 16 clones are going into flower on sunday. Big Momma is so happy in here. She had been un a small ass cupboard where her branches had hit the roof weeks prior. Poor girl. But shes loving it. Next Post is Harvest Pics.
