:weedpoke:Well i repotted one of them because it fell off the deck, which was a good thing because the bitch i live with wouldnt let me use some of her soil. But then she had too. It looks great. Iv been creating bud sites by topping method and i have a bunch. Iv been waiting a couple of days to LST. Im planing to do this today. Also, the funky one in the yellow container im going to put in the ground when my friend comes out today. The last one needs put in a larger pot. I re pot them when i feel like there is a nice canopy. The smaller one needs a bit more growth. My plants in the ground are ate up. I put some soap on them and burned them up, but they are looking much better. I dont have much cash but will be ready for next year:thumbsup: Il put LST pic up later today:weedpoke:

Plant 1. Didnt get to LST. I dug a hole and put it in my garden. Took over an hour and kicked my ass. It was the 1st plant in this thread. It out grew the pot and after i looked in the container there was built up nutes on one side. Not enough drainage. Plus every pistil that grew dried up and died.

Plant 2. This one has been re-potted 3 times and I think needs a bigger one. It would be much easier if i knew what strian im working with. All the reading pays off tho, because im begining to see my own problems. Feels good too. Its nice to know how to create new bud sites. The thing is, as i create action on top, its making the roots work harder and grow more. I just dont want to do to much and make a hermi. I know stress is something that can cause one. But, how much, is how much? I guess its all about making mistakes. The two in my avitar turned hermi. It was my 2nd grow. The bud sites on this plant looks nice, but when do i stop creating them? Its not been in this pot but a week and its out growing it already. Any ideas?

I stop using it, but now im mixing it weak and only once a week if i feel like im not getting the growth i believe i should be.

i'm thinkin u may not need to top as much or if at all once they start flowering. somethin i read, but folks have different opinions.

I toppped one today that had sum nice white hairs near the tops.
only one like that out of the 5 that are female so far. the rest are showing hairs closer to the middle of the plant.

topping scares me sometimes, but i've always done it. I'm letting one of my younger ones just grow normal, no topping. :stoned:

Very nice pics! Nice job putting the plants in the ground, it sounded like it was hard work. Plants look mostly green, and if you are giving them fresh soil with no nutes, they should get pretty healthy again soon.

I personally don't use nutes anymore, because my plants have always been too sensative. Even if I use a minimal amount, I don't see any difference in plant growth, and I start to see some yellowing or browning. My last 2 grows (outdoors, though) have been solely water and good soil, and I've grown some very nice plants.

If you're looking for a bigger pot, they have some big 5-gallon buckets at Home depot or Lowes for $2-3. Make sure you get the grey or black ones, as the white ones will let too much light through to the roots, which isn't good for the roots. Drill some holes at the bottom for drainage. The buckets will be plenty big so you won't have to re-pot them. The only issue would be the weight of carrying it. But if that's a problem, just don't fill up the bucket to the top with soil; do it halfway and add more when needed.

Hey man thanks for stoppin by. The plants in the default pic went hermi because 1st off i was plucking leaves off to smoke. I also thought that if i did this it would cause the plant to produce more, by all its energy consitrating on more growth. Plus i was broke and the leaves took the edge off:D Also, the bitch i live with threw them off the deck in the middle of the night. She was all drunk like always. Someone came in my room and told me and sure enough they were all out of the grow box it was in laying in the yard. The next day i got up and she stuck em back in and put em back on the deck. I taped the stalk which bent in half and a branch that broke. But it was filled with roots. I didnt plan the grow, just put 4 seeds in and they took off like a race. Two grew and two didnt. Its what got me into all this. Those 2 plus a premo plant in back woods lasted me 8 months. Free smoke for that long w/o having to pay, wow:stoned: Tasted pretty nasty, but helped with the pain. So, i started to read and never stopped. I read every day. It was a great learning experience. I would love to grow it for people who use it for medical purposes and just keep them in weed for free. :thumbsup: I would move today if i could do this. Any place. Id live in a shack if i could move. I live in a new house too, with a no interest loan. Its just in her name too, so i cant boot her. Or i would. Growing is my therapy:D One plant would grow in that thing perfect, but didnt use it this year. I hope to re-pot the smaller one if i can get a pot from her. If so you will see it on here tonight. Wow no nutes i would love it not to have to worry about that. I bought soil that said it has a natural fert in it. Im not sure of it because i dont have a grasp on the feeding stuff. If i can use it, that means being able to use a pot that is, because there are a ton of pots here, but some how are claimed by someone eles. I just at this time dont have a couple of bucks. The freak i live with dont believe in feeding her daughter or paying bills, so thats where i come in:rambohead:The plan is to move after the grow season, but i really dont want to give up my house.
I just will not use any fert to see how the growth goes. I directions says it stablalizes the ph. I really do not know what this means? It says "contains 65%-75% forest compost products and Canadian Sphagnum peat moss and 5% pertite clay wetting agent." From what iv read the first plant that is in the garden, I used old soil, plus over fert and not to mention not enough drainage. Thats what reading has done for me. But it seems happy so far in the garden:thumbsup:

I think they look pretty good, a slight yellow, but that isn't anything that can't be fixed. Overall your doing a hell of a job for the situation your in. Sometimes budget grows work and sometimes they crash. In your case it's working well.

Nature is a wonderful thing my friend. Take advantage of that. Unless of course, you have rabbits and shit that like to eat it up. In that case, I'd pull out the ol' trusty 22' and sit on my porch and wait. :stoned:

I only had problems with ferts once.. the plant was a lil too young, and i burned it up... and i use the cheap miracle grow.

usually if they're knee high or so, and you're goin by instructions at half strength at first, and gradually increase, it should be ok. i try to use plain water (pond water) once every other week, and water with ferts the week i dont use ferts... cold water can stress a plant too.

Yeah Stoner i know il have problems, but as much as iv read at least il know what to do, or where to look to find the problem. Soon il get rid of the freak that lives here and il be growing inside. The closest house beside me is about 500 yards and she parties. So i can hone my skills on the inside through winter. I think it would be easier physically for me, because i cant move my fingers too. The way i started my grow made some dude feel like i wanted attention or want people to feel sorry for me, but i know that there are dudes that are paralyzed that read these theards sayin "i wish i could grow". I just wanted them to know they can. Thats it man. I dont need this "poor dude" bullshit. It was the only way i could think of to catch there eye, ya know what i mean? Im a C6-C7 quadriplegic. You can goggle it. But i get around pretty good.

I re-potted that 4th plant today and the soil looked so nice, with some milk i could eat it. It cost 3 bucks at the dollar store. I even put a clone in it. Something that fell off the one i put in the garden. Just trimed it a bit. If it grows il shit. That 4th plant had no room to grow at all and i just re-potted it about 10 days ago. Freakin thing was root bound. Il bet i will be looking for a bigger pot in the next week to ten days for another re-pot. Il give it 4-5 days and put pics up to show the difference. Later :cool:

Well I hope this will complete this plants life. Used 5 gallon bucket, with some holes in the bottem. I used the new soil and a small size rock mix? I first put in rocks at the bottem and then some soil. Mixed it a bit. Then more rocks, soil and the plant. Then filed in around with the rest of the soil i had.

Problem i had was i ran out of soil at about 2-3 inches around the root ball to the container edges.:eek::cursing: The old soil isnt touching the plant itself, but only the surrounding soil from the old pot? Will I be ok you think?

The only thing i could do was use some old soil:question::error: Im broke and wanted to make sure the roots were completely covered:thumbsup:

Here are some pic's. I hope the drainage is ok. I took pic's of it. I ran a bit less then two gallons through it after after planting was completed. I think i got about 20% run off, but hell thats not easy to judge, doing it for the first time. Also, 60% chance of rain tonight. I think it will like the rain:D

I might have seen a pistil, but im not sure with no magnifiying glass. All this work ya know, shewwww

I want to LST a few branches simply for added sun. And hoping to get more growth.

Well this was tough for me to do. I tried to tie branches and tape them to expose the inner part of the plant. But i couldnt even tie a damn knot:wtf: So, i sorta adapted. I cut coat hangers, then bent them into a U. Carefully hooked them over branches and stuck them into the dirt. Im a freakin genius! Yeah intill I FREAKIN PUSHED TO HARD AND BROKE A FREAKIN BRANCH:eek::error:

But hell iv fixed a broken branch before. I put tape around it and i believe it will be fine. It better! But i had to open up the plant to get sun inside of it. I got in a rush, which there was no reason for it, but oh well im not going to freak to much. Il know in the morning. You can see where i taped it up.

I can pic out a pistil or a pre flower in a second in a pic of someones grow, but iv sat and looked at mine up close and personal and cant see a damn thing:( I just look through them for hours and hours and nothing. Sometimes i really do see a pistil, but then dout myself. Its been 8 weeks man:wtf:

I guess we should all just keep giving atta-boys to people that live in harder circumstances and do everyday shit. I mean its not like he won the tour de france with cancer or was a double leg amputee and won the U.S. 400 meter race. I mean the guy says he can use his arms...

I am a quad cuz i cant feel under my arms or move any fingers at all. At least thats what the Docs said.

Also, i wrote the thread that way only to help others like myself, to know they could grow too, with just a bit of help. Its about independence. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ATTENION! Just trying to get people like me to see they could do it too. I worked at an Independent Living Center for 7 years, its habbit. How could i get people like me to read the thread if i didnt try to advertise to that audiance, if you will.

At the same time im doing what every other person does on here is just learn more.

Well i might have found out why i havent seen pre flowers. At least i think. The girl who sleeps here comes home at night sometimes. I just ask my daughter if she turns on the light, so she can see. Sure enough she does.
Its been on every night or close to it for the life of the plants. That would be just about 8 weeks today.

Also, my transplanted plant seems sorta druppy. Its rained a few day in a row and right before the rain i soaked it. But i would think id have yellow leaves w/ to much water?

Also, smallest plant is really light green with a purple hue to it. I just re potted it last week and also topped it for branch enhancement. Its growing well but its right beside the other one getting the damn deck light a few nights a week.

Should i move the plants? There getting 8 hours full sun light now. If I move them to my other comfortable spot they will get only about 5-6 hours of full sun light, but they wouldnt get any deck light at all?

Think that it is keeping it in veg?

I know the light is gotta be keeping them in veg. And its what hermied up my last grow (IN AVITAR). But there were other issues with those as well.

Well here are some pics of the plants i burned up pretty bad. I ask someone to take these but there not what i wanted to mainly show. There not real big, but 2 years ago i got more yield from my smallest plant.

Iv been trying to clear all the weeds and other growth around the plant every day and wanted the pics to show that. Which i was advised to do;sorry forgot person. Iv got much help here:D I tuct taped a steak knief to an old broom stick and it works pretty good too. Plus lots and lots of reading. The pics dont show the ground, but im working hard to clean it up as much as i can.

July 9th i feed them, but July 11th they were burnd up. I havent used it since. I was told it was too strong and should stop using it.

I ask about just deluting it and use each week on a schedule. But i didnt get an answer. I think im going to start using till pre flower. They need something, there so small. Only 2 are in reach for me to top:mad: So, im going to start feeding 1/4 strangth twice a week and if they look ok continue till pre flower then use only water. I was told it would taste shitty, but i think he meant using it in flower, which i wont.

I have whats called "EXPERT GARDENER WATER SOLUABLE PLANT FOOD" ITS 15-30-15 Its just what was around the house. And this is it. I thoght about using ebsom? I read pro's an con's? Also, H2O2. BUT CHICKENED OUT :rasta:

im usin that ratio now, i just switched. i was using 18-18-21 Miracle Grow (tomato food) b4.

15-30-15 is for flowering/blooming so you should be ok.

ive been using 1 gallon per plant per week at recommened strength for about 3 weeks. i havent had any burn issues yet except for one in june that was kinda small. i wasnt usin full strength then.

was that the last time u used fertz for the ones in the pots/buckets also?
are u using the measuring scoop that the fertz came with?

not so sure if i would fert the ones that got burnt, if i did i would use a very small amount with plenty of water.

the reason i asked about the scoop is..

the one mine came with said one tablespoon per gallon..
i was mixing a full level scoop per gallon, and realized the full scoop is for 1.5 gallons of water.

Well i started using it today. Just used half strangth. Im going to use it too flower the ones in the ground then plain water. Yes i used it in the pots but not for a long time. I found 3 naners on it today. I had someone move it out of that deck light. Il keep an eye out, because iv heard you can just pick them off. I think thats what happen to the ones in my avitar. Its out of the direct light, but the light hits about 30' from it. So, its now sorta in a shadow. The light is up on the house and shines out, but the plant is really close, right against the deck. Also, il need to tape a box on the deck side of the railing, just in case someone turns the light on. The light only comes on at night when the chick works a late shift, no light at all is on the plant and if you were to be right beside it, its pitch black.



This Big plant with what looks like pre flowers? Iv read so much and can help out others looking for flowers from so much of the examples iv seen in the reading. Its nutts i cant see one on my own plant. I think iv seen pistils to, at the same time, i feel while staring at them for such a long period of time, i accually think iv seen a mirage.


First pics are the big one with the naners i took off. But i might have pre flowers? The other one with the purple branches and leaf stems. Its was sunny, but the pics arnt to bad. Wow man, click once on the small plant and check out those stem. Some def. problem, but i know right where to go to define it.

I took close ups, so click once and i think i see pistils and flower, wow
