Ill post some pics at the weekend, growths seems to have slowed, but i think its just my patiance :)
you might take a look at a product in get up and grow called super boost.it is to be used once in the 3rd and 6th week of flowering.it lets the flowers open up and take in morelight..i think... i have noticed a difference on the plants i have used it on..its not too dear only 8 euro..check it out and get your self a jewliiers loupe to catch them trics at the right time..happy growing
its not your thread to be posting on, dont jack his thread.Quote:

you should of used a 3 gallon pot a month in veg. transplanting in flowering is dangerous but it can be done with care. If you have a 5 foot plant you need a 5 gallon pot for healthy roots.
have you got any pictures of the haverest
Hey, thanks for the advice, first time grow so I'll know all this stuff next time. It was something I nether actually planned for. I was watching The Union which is a great documentary about pot in the US and BC, I recommend everyone watch it and pass it on, I showed it to my mother, think its after changing her view on legalisation.
Anyway after work one day I just decided you know what, I'll grow some, just for a test and here I am.
Sorry your probably wondering how the plants are doing with no pics and all, well the truth is the last couple of weeks, there has been hardly and sun at all. In fact here in Ireland we've had the worst July in 50 years, I can't remember a day it didn't actually rain.
The plants obviously haven't taken to this well and growth has been minimal. Things have started to pick up again though. The smell is getting quite a bit stronger, which I'm very happy with. There are pic's coming this weekend I promise.
So now for the bad news, I'm going to harvest come the 25th of this month regardless of how far I am through flowering, I must move out, and moving with cut drying flowers is a lot more easier and safer then shipping 4 foot trees across town.
Then hopefully a few weeks down the line I can give you the smoke report, which I'm really looking forward to.
please man dont chop them until they are done properly, you will regret it.the smoke will only be a light head buzz if you harvest too early... find some one with a van and tie the plants up and pop a black sack or cardboard box over them, then smuggle them accross town at night...all your hard work could be ruined if you dont.. never just go by the 8 week flowering rule, especially when your using the sun in ireland, they could take 10-12 weeks to be ready..lol:rastasmoke:
also they look safely Sativa.. so it might be a little longer than 8 weeks.. but if you have 2 goo you have 2 go. if you knew you were going to be having to leave you shouldve took clones! anyhow nice grow! I will follow it til the end
and if your moving across town, maybe this is and opportunity to set up a little flowering room to finish them off and really make this first grow worth your while. if your moving you have a reason to have all this shit packed into a car or van, and plus, i wont have anything to read anymore. :stoned:
Ha ha, we'll see about that, I'll have to talk my mate into carting them though, don't think he'll like the idea. We're approaching 8 weeks now, next Monday I think, must check.
Anyway here are some pics. :)

Hope you like.
i cant believe even the thought about taking those lovely plants down crossed your mind, I hope you can work something out so you can let your babies show their full colors
:stoned:
by the looks of them pics they are a few weeks away from being ready. they are still too geen to harvest.wait until the plant starts to change colour.and the buds will fatten out more over the last few weeks. dont ruin all your hard work by chopping too soon. if there is a way to smuggle them ..do it
Well i make the cruciall desission on tuesday, which apt. to move in to. One is across town, i wont be bringing the plants there, the other is a stones throw away, I'd simply box them and walk m over :)
So here's to hoping its a nice place.
Took a sample from a lower branch yesterday, its drying upside down in my food press right now, that right ?
Bud is slowly packing out.
So the nearest place is gone, there is no chance of any pal driving my plants across town, so unfortunately 1 week until harvest ! :(
Just get a dodgy looking taxi driver and smack him a tenna on top !
Its a real shame, was well into this grow.. Gutted its going to be taken down early :(
But was a real nice grow while it lasted, i'm just over in england and i know how much the weather can be a pain
Anyway hope the stuff turns out decent, let us know about the sample you're drying !
hey man dont know if its too late for you but if you need them transported i can do it for you
just a suggestion thats if your near dublin
:smokin:
rent a van or something, you're quitting so easily and its just making me angry to see something get this far and just throw in the towel. quitters never win and winners never loose. why get this far, break this many laws, don't let moving stop you.
Hey lads so the plants have been harvested, i wasn't prepared to move them but i think they're were ready half the hairs had turned orange, i took a sample a couple of weeks ago and smoked recently I was happy with it. Nicest taste, everyone said so. Here are some pic's.

So what do ya think ?
good job man, looks nice.leave them to dry in the dark for at least seven days, then cure some. if you can wait that extra few weeks the smoke is amazing
glad to see you got somthing from this grow.
nothing more satisfying than smoking some of your own garden
So after 2 weeks of drying and 2 weeks my bud will be ready for its finale test come Friday. I'm going to roll a nice big blunt as i've never smoked one. Here are some pics of Pre-Cure stage.

Wow this is great. I really like the fig tree in the back of the photo. Is it a dwarf fig? Do you keep it indoor or out(in the shade)?
The buds are awesome. The glass container is great as well. Do they come in larger sizes? Looks to me like you have the patience to make the plant's fully harvest and cure the right way. I wish I had the opportunity to smoke with you. Your grow looks very rewarding.
OV
LOOKS SWEET MAN. NEXT TIME DONT PUT SO MUSH IN THE CURING JARS. YOU WANT TO GIVE THE BUDS SOME ROOM TO BREATH:thumbsup:
ROLL ON FRIDAY:rastasmoke:
Thanks guys, yeah the glass was packed, i replaced it with a larger glass a day latter, there was plenty of space. I like that photo tho, it looks jam packed & makes me feel good :)
haha dude by the looks of it your only gonna need a joint of that shit before you hit the floor.
Very impressive!
Good show, Bub. Congrats and best of luck in the future.
thats anice bit of smoke frm a window grow lad, you must be prouda yourself, how much dya get off em?
Hey so final test has been done. Now I haven't smoked a whole lot of variety in my life, I've never been to Amsterdam and the shit we get around here is, well, shit, but this is the nicest stuff I've ever smoked :) The other day I got to do what I've always wanted to - roll a nice long cone, filled with nothing but green. I went down to a local pub, sat in the beer garden on a Sunday evening and got stoned with a couple of friends. It was happy out, giggly stuff, with paranoia but no panic. Best high I've ever had, the lads said the same, that made me pretty proud. There's plenty left, It'll last me a while anyway. Don't think I'll be able to grow in my current setup, maybe in 9 months time when my lease is up, but if i change my mind, you'll be sure to know guys. Thanks for following everyone.
That is great to hear mate, you must be well chuffed with yourself..
Was a great thread to be subscribed to..
Enjoy your  matey
