Haven't looked at root ball yet, will after this post, then I will update after this post, again, lol. So yeah, the plant is only 12 days old, so hope its doing good under the soil. And yes, its just plain top soil, so I mixed it about 50-50. Wish me luck....

Well, it all went alright. I definitely needed to do it, there was tons of moister down there and you could tell the path that the water drained because thats the only place there was alot of roots. Its all good now though, heres the pics.

Well, here's some updated pix. The things next to the plant are a BIC pen, I'm using it to keep the leaves off the soil. I have counted 7 nodes and it is under an inch tall, what is up with this plant?

It will be alright, mine have about 7 nodes to and it's only about 3 inches tall and only about and inch and a half wide. They are like tiny bushes!
yeah thats soundsabout the same except that miune is only 1/2 inch tall, i know its going to produce something awesome, I just odnt know what its going to be like.

More updates.
I took pictures yesterday, jsut never got around to posting them, so the first two are of my little plant yesterday, the next 2 are of it today, and then the last pic is an updated picture of the plants in the other box. They have been on 12/12 and we weened out the males, actually took him and planted him outside to see what would happen. Major improvement I feel from before. Well, take a look.

Man, that sucks, I was editing my last post cuz I forgot to mention we were starting some cloning experiments and it all got thrown away cuz I took too long. Anyways, we have 2 clones sitting in water, my buddy said he wanted to try it. I accidentally took the top off of the little plant to the right in the picture and put it in my own little experiment, I'm not too sure either of the experiments will work, but who knows.

If I could make a suggest- grab some pete pellets-cheap, and convenient-thats what I use for clones, just letem suck up the water-I'd grab a small bottle of super-thrive, and rooting powder- this can be picked up at any nursery-scrape a little on one side of the cutting stem-dip it in the bottle of rooting powder-stem first-press her in the soaked peet pellet, and sit back.Clones are absolutely invaluable to us.peace
avoid Superthrive, that highly over-rated garbage kills young seedlings :wtf: ... it does help rooting, helpful in cloning, but only use 1-2 DROPS per gallon ... I'd avoid it altogether ... also, peat is too acidic for cannabis, it will get you by, but is not the medium of choice ... I recommend RapidRooter plugs for your cloning/seedstarting needs ... and, cloning gel sticks to the stem better than the powder ... I used the powder for years, it works OK, too ... I wonder if anyone caught the title to this thread, of a 'zero budget' ... I assume everyone sees now, there ain't no such thing as 'free', maybe that's why pot costs so much :D ... good growing :thumbsup:

Here's some new pictures.
We started a cloning chamber, just a little 15w UVB t5 tube with another 13w daylight CFL. The clones are in sphagnum peat pellets with a gentle coating of rooting hormone.
My plant that is shown is now only 21 days old.....I'm so proud of (hopefully) her......

Got some new pics with our new HPS light. ITs crazy how we found it, yard sale.........yeah I know, weird. We weren't even going to the yard sale, my buddy is a redelivery boy and on his route one day we passed a yard sale, I saw a sign "FLOOD LIGHT FOR SALE". We joked about it, haha we could get a grow light dude, drove by it slowly and saw it was an HPS light. $30. Not as powerful as I would want, its only a 50w, but it definitely helps. Heres the pix of my other crippled weird awesome super growth plant. ITs shitty but you can see the bushy-ness. I trimmed the bottom leaves off and the stem is about a 1/4" thick, I like it.

Here's some more updates from last night. Yesterday's pix were from Monday.
Yeah, I couldn't tell if anything was up with it. I had been in Chicago last week so I had my buddy take care of it. It seemed to completely double over the week. I only water it 1-2 times a week, but I give it a generous amount and every 2 weeks I git it some nutes. I've never heard of anyone doing it but so far it has worked for me. I take 1/2 cup of Ironite(12-10-10) into 3 cups of water. swish it around and strain it. The plant seems to like it and it hasn't burned it so I will continue.I was to transplant it but I need to find a way to do so that isn't too big. I think I'm going to flower it in a week or 2...

1st couple are how I attached my carbon filter. Then its my box/plant with their 4 new 23watt CFL. 2700k with 1600 lumens each. I like, we will see how she likes them.
Hells yeah! If you go out looking for something specific at sales you may never find it but then you can get lucky!! 50w hps can really make a difference to your girls. I recently bought two whole light setup ballast/cord/bulb/reflector that were 250w mh for only $5.00. Thats after I had spent $400 on just one 400w switchable ballast combo.Quote:

we were having some troubles with the light, so we drilled a series of about 100 holes in both sides and set up an exhaust that takes the heat from the inside of the lamp out, it still gets warm in there, but the highest its gotten to is 88, before we did this it would go up to 110, very bad. Here's today's pictures. I had to do some LST, and thought it would be appropriate to use hemp. I also transplanted today into my Easter basket, its awesome, it has a layer of Perlite on the bottom, then I placed the root ball and what-not into the bucket, then placed a layer of Perlite around the root ball, then some 50-50 soil Perlite mixture. Anywho, heres the pix....

Just high as balls and scanned some of my leaves. These are about the average of how big the leaves on my plant are getting, the 3 inch one is actually about the largest I have had. Does anyone know if this is any specific strain of nugs or just some mutant pot plant.

Here she is today on this fine day here.
Me and my buddy started our hydro today, we didn't buy any of the nutes cuz they cost oh so much around here, but I made a little nute solution out of about 3/4 cup of Ironite(12-10-10) in 1 liter of water to the 4.5 gallon reservoir. I'm not sure if it will do, but who the balls knows, it didn't cost me anything so we will see what goes down.

What do I do if this turns out to be some like super mega headies? I have one clone of it from before I put it into flowering, but what if that doesn't survive, will I just have to part ways with it, or could I take another clone from it even though its flowering already.
Got pics of all the boxes but the budding ones, I wanted to use my digi rather than my phone to take a pic so you can actually see the pistols and what not. They are looking amazing, can't wait to see how well the hydro does. Well, here they are, all the pics are of my banzai plant(needs some sort of name) and the little one is our new veg cabinet, its pretty dang sweet if you ask me. The tank in there is for cloning, pour about a 1/2" of water in the base of it and through a piece of glass from a picture frame on it. Then we just used duct tape to seal the box when the glass is on it, keeps it an amazing 99% humidity in there at about 88 degrees. I'm high and rambling so heres the pix.

Yeah the room started smelling like straight dank, so I made me a carbon filter, works awesome, only cost like maybe 10 for everything. You should think about it if the smell gets to be a problem.

What are the materials u used? And how long into 12/12 did it take for the plants to show signs of gender for you?
we have them in a Mylar covered box, only using a 50 watt HPS, got it at a yardsale, need to find another one somewhere, but prolly about 2 weeks.
