As far as a name goes for a purple strain,there was a guy in NYC in the 70's named "Peter Purple"...Whether he was ridin' his bike or at a concert or just walkin' around Manhattan,this guy always wore head to toe purple tie-dyed clothes...Just a thought...Pleasure watchin' you do your thing as always Brother K!!!
Hey if you dont mind me asking nice plants by the way..I have few seeds germinating right now in paper towel method but i want to try to grow these ones in the hempy buckets How do you plant them from taking them out of the paper towel??? Should i just put them tail down in the perlite or should i start them off for like 2 weeks in soil in a small 8 oz. cup???Please get back to me looking forward to your response Thanks man!!Quote:

Thanks iReaper. I found their site (off eBay) and will order shortly. I've been using both the drops/test tube and litmus strips but I get different results with each. I suppose it doesn't help that I'm a tad bit color blind, as well.;):D

I have some seeds that are purple kush X purple urkle X train wreck. Wondering how close that is to what you are working with. I had a solo female last winter that I had to harvest early and was not real happy with it at that stage. I have another that was put into 12/12 last week that is a male:cool: so I'm thinkin of collecting the pollen for later use. :dance:I like the idea of a cardboard breeding box, I was wondering where I was going to put it to finish. I have some WW and an indoor mix from Joey Weed that were switched along with the purple so I don't want to knock them up. (maybe a few lower buds later on).

The tent is at 28 days....i prunned most of the fan leafs off in day 21 since then i havent seen much growth but im still waiting....they are getting their final nute formula 2 tsp of grow big, 1 tsp of tiger bloom, 1 tbsn of big bloom, 1/4 tsp of cha ching for the next two weeks then the flushing process begins..
the breeding project is im open pollenating my purple Wreck with 3 purple kush x purple rhino cuts, and one purple wreck female...my male is a awesome...hes a monster which will probably be a nice breeding partner...
my veg box now has in it....2 Nirvana WW from my boy which i smoked the herb and its the bomb.....2 Purple Wreck cuts from my breeding project F.....and 2 of Dr. Load Q balls....

i run full blast till day 49 then i remove the grow....day 53 i remove the bloom.....day 57....i run ph balenced tap water till the end.....i start the flush about 3 weeks before harvesting!Quote:

Ive only done a heavy prune like this one....one other time.....i really saw no growth frow the plants till like day 56 of a 63 day strain(CH9 Green Bud) but then at day 56 they snapped out of it and i had my highest yeild to date w CFL's...3/4 lb from 350w of CFL's..i had to run them an extra week but it was well worth it!..the plants go in to shock for a week or so....then explode....timing is key....the bud sites have to have a really nice set of leafs nice and large....im preying for the same result this time....Quote:
