As I've said, I always keep it to myself; virtually nobody in my personal life has any idea. I just thought I could vent a little online without getting harsh judgement in return, but I stand corrected. I don't ask for sensitivity from anyone, it just irritates me to no end when people have this matter-of-fact belief that they understand a medical condition they have no experience with or no way to relate to. You're not one of the people who just cannot feel happy no matter what they do or how hard they try, but such people exist, and I'm not asking anyone to cry me a river, just don't give me the "count your blessings" bullshit; that doesn't work with depressives, plain and simple.

Yes, I am self-aware, to such a keen degree that it's painful, and I've told myself the same thing...that I should be able to just fix this, just snap out of it. I'm still waiting.

Got really baked with a few buddies and got driven to subway (the sub resturant, not the train) to get munchies. got the sandwiches and were driving home, I'm sitting shotty munching out with my crunch out on this BLT. punnish six inches of it, get at the last six, and find a used band-aid in the paper. Subway subs come wrapped twice, first with the paper that has the SUBWAY print all over it, and then inside that another more papery wrapping. between the two wrapping papers, was this old, cristy, used band-aid.

I'm like, nahhh fuck that shit yo, I'm not down and stop eating. Get home, write an email to the owner telling him what's up. Origionally I was demanding a 6 foot party sub for repirations, but ended up getting a free foot.

Finding used band-aid in a sub really makes you come down.

why does it feel like after i get nice and blazed someone always comes around and kills my buzz...

i live with my (somewhat overprotective) aunt. i was going to go make some music with this friend of mine, but i knew my aunt didn't like her, so i just told her i was going to grab drinks with a guy i work with, Jon. i told my aunt i would text her to let her know how late i was going to be.

so me and this girl were making music, smoking blunts, getting stoned blind all night. i texted my aunt at 1:15am saying i'd be later, then again at 3:15am to tell her that i was just going to grab coffee and go to work early (i'm a Personal Trainer and my shift starts at 6am).

At 530am i look @ my phone and see i have like 7 missed calls. I listen to all the voicemails, which progress each one. The first one is from my aunt and it goes like this "Hi it's 3am, just checking up on you", the 2nd goes "Hi, it's 5am and I'm going to call Jon and make sure you're okay."

Now, rewind for a second.. my aunt had Jon's number because he gave me a ride somewhere recently, and she had asked me for his number in one of those "just in case" situations... fuck...

So after I get the "I'm going to call Jon" voicemail, I get the inevitable following voicemail "I don't know where you are, please call me, blah blah". Then I get a voicemail from Jon saying "Call your Aunt, she's giving me the riot act, I don't know if I should cover for you or not, she's threatening to call the police", and then 2 more voicemails from my aunt, hysterically sobbing for me to call her.

Remember it is still 530am now. I finally finish listening to the voicemails and call up my aunt, stoned as fuck, and a bit confused... I had texted, why had she called Jon??? ....my texts that night and on all following nights, to this day, did not go through to her. I don't know how or why that happened, I just know that she did not then or EVER recieve my texts...

But beyond that, I was BUSTED for lying about where I'd be, and she and my uncle were pretty much convinced I was dead - pretty irrational if you ask me, but I wasn't the one who had a missing-roommate to look after.

Basically I smoked another fat one and went to my 6am shift without sleeping - I would have missed sleep even if I hadn't been caught, but I certainly didn't need that bullshit emotional drama at 530am... FUUCKKK that all sucked so bad.

So yea, that was something bad that happened to be after smoking AND after not sleeping for a night. Everything's okay now, and I can now tell my aunt where I'm going without feeling like I need to lie to her, but she blamed me for everything because I'm the one that lied and betrayed trust and all, even THOUGH it was only a name-substitution at the last minute and i DID text when i said I would.

I mean I'm 23 years old, I think that was all a little overdramatic.

so you could say this started the other day. anyways, after smoking i got to put some pants on, while attempting the feat my foot rested on a small mirror under a shirt. i put pressure on the mirror and it broke. that was friday evening. saturday, i smoked about 30 minutes before going in, about 10 minutes before work, im driving in...pop...my tire goes out. Now in the past year, thats 365 days, i have gone through 6 tires on my car. and to make matters worse i have no spare because the last time my tire went out i had to drive the spare until it went out as well. so i had no spare, and had to make the perilous trek the mile or so home with the flat tire. luckily i had a spare replacement tire and i got it fixed.

Sunday, snow, no movement, i go to bed early even, early monday morning, about 130 i wake up, not able to sleep, and no reason why, not even tired. to try to get tired again i go out for a drive in the early morning, i also take my bowl, not having any weed i was going to take the resin hits, i needed something to get to sleep. So im driving around, deciding if i am going to go to the wally world to stimulate this economy some, and i decide against it. so i start driving home. no big deal right??? wrong, as i go around a turn, some slick snow and ice laying behind but still on the curve, which i was on the inside, so i hit this patch, well i was already breaking so when i start sliding i just slid, no movement of the wheels, into a ditch, across the road. So what, its happened to many people before. well the ditch is an actual ditch for a farm, the road itself drops off the shoulder, and my car is stuck with the road about 4 inches up the tire, with just a loose packed gravel shoulder. shit is whack.

No, people who haven't been there don't get it. Don't expect them to. Would you "get it" if it wasn't happening to you?

I've battled clinical depression for years. Have you seen a professional and if you have find another one if that one isn't helping you. Do you take medication? I take 60mg Prozac and it works great for me. Yes, I have a back story but who really cares? I'm in the same boat and I'm telling you......you DONT have to live in the grey world forever. But you need some help. I'm sure the thought itself is exhausting.....but quite frankly what do you have to lose? That's how I finally made it to a professional and it changed my life.

Goodluck overgrow......but like Johnny said....it's still up to you to make the choices....it's all about you. I like that......things being about me. I'm worth it. You are too.

I had driven home one weekend to pick up an oz while I was doing archaeology work last summer. sunday night on our way back to the fieldwork we get pulled over in a po-dunk shit hole of a town in south eastern oklahoma. the "highway" has a speed limit of 25, i was clocked at 32. at first the cops didnt find anything, then another one showed up, he was an ass. they found the oz, thought it was a quarter....
anyways its now about 4am and we go to this crap ass jail. the chief was going to come in the morning and take me to an atm so i can get the money to pay our fines...he never shows up. the one cop lady who we had to yell at through the door said it would be a few hours before she would let us get a phone call, she left for the day before she gave us one, didnt tell the new dispatcher we wanted a phone call...
16 hours later we get a hold of a bondsman, he charges us %20 instead of the usual 10...
end up with 1500 in fines, my buddy had 1000 plus another 500 in bond, plus the 350 i paid for the oz...only smoked one bowl outta it

the funniest thing is, NONE of this shows up on my record, the cops were crooked and took the herb, took the money and never reported anything. it kinda sucks getting burned like that but its better to not have the shit show up if i get pulled over again.

that is why i hate the police

I am serious.
I find it difficult to give a damn about the human race but they fascinate me , thier lack of logic and dependancy on emotional input is baffling sometimes.
I have a simple rule in my life, do unto others, don't fuck with me and you need never fear me , mess with me at your own peril.
If I am threatened I hold with the belief that I should be allowed to react with a fight fire with fire mentality and maximum prejudice.

People who prey on the less able are in my mind nothing more than parasites.

I hear all that, believe me. You don't sound like a sociopath at all, just a detached guy amusedly surveying human folly. I wish I was more detached and could just not give a fuck...I'd be a lot happier.

I sure the hell wouldn't want people to be cold, logical machines (I think emotional input really makes life worthwhile), but my god, they need to learn some reasoning abilities, that's for damn sure. And yes, religion and politics are all just pure bullshit, but they have the people fooled. Pretty sad. Funny how religion and politics are considered lofty but sex, the most truly lofty thing out there, is filthy.

this happened to me a month or 2 ago...i forgot to post it :)

its thursday night and i invite my friend to sleep over since we got no school the next day....so we wake up at 10 and decide to wake and bake...10 mins later after finishing 2 bowls of some good shit, my mother (who doesnt know i smoke) calls and tells me my grandfather is comming to my house to fix the door....so we start freaking out and put everything away...my friend gets rly paranoid and decides to leave the house( we live in canada and there was a snow storm that day)and my friends doesnt have a cell so im like wtf u bailer...so my grandpa comes and leaves in 10 mins i dont think he notices anything...so im pretty happy with the situation and wait to hear news from my friend...45 mins later he comes back and hes like ya....i went to the parc (next to my house) and cops came and when they asked what he was doing there he told them his stomach hurt(hes an idiot)..so they took his name and number down and he came back to my place...so we freak out for a bit then decide that nothings gonna happen and smoke some more...turns out they never called his house and we got away with everything...:) im 19 btw

was a good experience :)

Just purchased some amazing Hindu Kush.
Like 2 oz's of it.
We we driving after smoking a big BLUNT
and we thought we could just be all smoke resistant and go driving.
But I was in the process of loading another one when those Blue and Red Lights came on :( :( Flashing behind us.
The officer walked up to the car and he said he could see the smoke pouring from the window down the street.
and it smelt like we had a grow room in our trunk.
We got Some HEFTY HEFTY charges. :mad: :(

I was with this one kid who had 50 bucks and had never ever eveer ever ever ever touched the stuff.
I bought him some and we had a good little sesh.
He smoked like one or two bowls and he looked at me and said he didn't feel anything.
But then he stood up and RAN!
He ran stumbled and fell.
Like it was the weirdest reaction to the stuff i'v seen man....
HE asked me if i SAW THE DOG ATTACKING HIM
he said a dog tackled him and was biting him or some shit. :wtf:

So i kept the rest of his shit lol and he went to school....

Police dogs and helicopters to catch my friend who ran from them at a park.. Over smokin some bud. Theres been worse things too but it's involved other drugs and stupidity. Stay safe guys and gals.

I was a senior in highschool at the time. We had just skipped lunch and smoked a good bit and returned for an "ice cream social" event with unlimited free ice cream for obtaining good grades. I piggged. After that I went home and hotboxed my car with a few friends inside my garage.

I then puked up all of the ice cream that I pigged on, inside of my car.

i smoked with salvia a few times...I basically got hammered, smoked bud, then salvia and by the time i was back in reality i had pissed myself. i blame the alcohol though :jointsmile:

well you know how when ur really high and ur muscles tingle? well i smoked a WHOLE LOT of Zimbabwe Kush and my muscles didnt tingle pleasantly but throbbed painfully. it was so awful that for a split second i thought i was O.D.ing until i remembered that u cant O.D. on a few bowlfuls of weed. i couldnt even go downstairs to satisfy my munchies so i just laid down in bed until about 2 minutes later when i passed out

Used to commute to work every week, about a 150 mile drive. One time on the way home (friday) I had some realy good bud- my cusin was driving his truck- we where puffin heavy. He was eating some nacho doritos at the time.Well all of a sudden he gets a real serious look on his face. I say "hey Reed, are you alright?" he turns and looks me in the eyes for just a second;
he then proceeds to puke doritos and beer all over his dashboard and down into the air vents!!!! he pulls into a gas station parking lot, that was lit with some sodium vapor lights(The ones with the orange -yellow hugh) and I swear the puke on his face was glowing in the dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still laughing about it--even as I type!!!!!! P.S. - couldn't stand the smell in that truck for a long time!!!!

Got one for ya'll, the person my family was living with smoked, i was 11 and liked to steal this dudes cigarettes and feel cool in front of the other kids. Well guess what i happen to find? Not knowing what it is of course i assume it was a cig, unfortunatly it was not. :( within the second hit of the J i feel sick and am freakin' out, (THANK GOD my parents weren't home!) I took a bath and hid in the bathtub for hours thinking i was going to die...suprised i still smoke today in fact, total accident being a stupied kid, but you know what...i never stole cigarettes from that guy again. LOL :D
