Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
:) Here's a few choice dates coming up in December for those who want to Garden By The Moon :)
Harvest By the Moon: Good dates to harvest your crops when the moon will be in a DRY sign...........15th (after 1:22 AM EST), 16th Moon will be in Leo and Moon will be decreasing.
Crops should be harvested in the 3rd & 4th quarters in a dry sign. Crops should be dried in 3rd quarter, if possible, in a fire sign (Leo, for example).
December 24th (after 6:13 AM EST) and December 25th are also good harvest dates. The Moon will be in Sagittarius (dry) and Moon will be in 4th quarter.
GOOD PLANTING DATES LEFT IN DECEMBER: Sat. 13th (after 1:39 AM EST), Sunday 14th (until 1:22 AM EST 15th) Moon will be in 3rd quarter which is good for rooting. Moon is in Cancer, which is the most beneficial planting sign.
Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd are acceptable planting dates as well, although not as good, since in 4th quarter.
SUPER EXCELLENT PLANTING DAY LEFT IN DECEMBER: Wed 31st (after 7:27 PM EST) Moon will be back in 1st quarter and Moon will be in Pisces, a water sign, which is very fruitful.
Don't forget to adjust times to your particular Time Zone, all times given are Eastern Standard Time EST. It is best to avoid planting right near any time given.

Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
No kidding, I've been suspicious since the 72 games when those German shemales competed! :) But I'm not worried about STEROIDS......LOL...
I plan on transplanting my NLHaze children tonite. They have outgrown their first transplant in record time. Already rootbound. Tonite they have their very first 5 leaf. Had a little problem with mold, but bumped temps and removed dried out topsoil. No further problems since. (Used barren weed killing moon sign)
I know what the problem was, forgot an old poor man's C02 experiment from last time. Removed from vast underground secret grow room, don't expect any more problems with mold. :)
Anyway, off to the laboratory for more mad scientist experiments! ;)

Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Had to transplant my little NLHaze babies again today. Didn't have a choice because they had totally rootbound themselves in 16 oz cup in 8 days.
The moon is in Taurus tonite, so I'm hoping for even stronger roots with this sign. Full moon is Friday nite if anybody feels romantic.
Thanks for stopping by

Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
no, silly.:D
i meant, if they could get away with THAT, then your lil test should be a breeze;)
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
The first 30 days is busy...busy. You can rest during flowering...sort of..
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Well anyway Rock, the only Olympic event I'm interested in is Men's Diving....drool...drool.:)
The NLHaze babies survived the transplant without noticing they were moved. Don't believe they grew any last night though.... They don't look like they have a sativa gene in their ...er..bones. Big fat leafed rascals.
The Cali Oranges and White Rhinos have all gotten the shells off their heads and are looking good under their shop light. I did help one of them escape their shell, I know, I couldn't resist. She immediately threw her arms out and rejoiced to be free.
I keep talking to them and telling them there's no need to worry about reproducing, as I will keep them alive forever and clone baby after baby. Hopefully, this will encourage them to all be girls. Keep your fingers crossed everybody!
Now if I could just get the battery charger to re-charge those AAs, I could get photo.
Thanks again to everyone who has dropped by....enjoy gardening by the moon.

Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
hey lola hows your plant doing. got any pics?
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Hey PmBigBud: Thanks for asking. They are working on their 5th node, they're about 5 inches tall. Big wide fat leaves. don't see a sativa influence at all.
Camera batteries down, recharger is a piece of Chinese crap. Gonna have to leave the hills and buy a new one. Sometimes being green is a pain in the butt. :)
In the meantime, show me yours.....they are same age. I bet yours are still bigger. :)
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Although my NLHaze babies are only about 5 inches tall, they have leaves that are as big as my hand!
They are doing well, as are the WRs and Orangebuds. The latter already have roots out the bottoms of their peat pots. Gonna have to transplant soon.
I just can't get over how the NLHaze babies have such GIANT leaves.......They are wider than tall...nice strong stems. They love the MH.
Well thanks for stopping by to see how they are doing.:)
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
I'm pulling for the WR's...:rhinoceros:...I don't know the others..:smokin:
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Thanks for the pullin' Dutch. The WRs are from your input. Was torn between widows or rhinos. I'm hoping to get one mother out of each kind. I also need some meds, ran out of the infamous sea weed from summer grow. Hope somebody starts alternating nodes soon.......maybe they know they will get smoked if they get big enough. :)
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
It, all requires the patience of ...J<>B

Thanks for dropping by Dave (it is Dave, I figured Dave The Rave).
Big OOPS! from me, looked at the wrong dates and Transplanted my children in a BARREN sign today.:(
Why did I think it was Saturday?????? Must be the lack of THC in my brain.
Hope I haven't killed all my Rhinos and OrangeBuds.......
They are all under the 400 MH. I will go to town and get some batteries tomorrow......tune in for PICS then.
See ya'll later........Don't forget FULL MOON tonite...enjoy!
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique

Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Hey GG, thanks for dropping by. I'll get them pics on asap!

-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
critical? you kidding me? my stash ran out last night. i asked a friend's sister and she wanted $40/eighth! i was so ticked off because i smoked some of that 2 days ago and it was total dirt weed! so, no go there. thinking about (shudder) scraping for resin... and to think i have a lovely little girl about 2 weeks from starting flower... sigh... marijuana is a love/hate relationship
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
hooray! 4 stars! was rusty the "friend" you referenced? LOL
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Well, I have $$ and no where to buy! All my connections are dead, married to mormons, etc. I wrote Santa a letter, but that bastard won't share his herb. I guess them reindeer ate it all!
Lolagal crawls across floor slowly, her tongue hanging out...."Need THC" she mutters, and then falls into coma.
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Nah, he's no friend of mine....more like a &*%$#@ a** I love the way he demands PROOF, but expects everyone else to take his word. I want Santa to bring him tolerance for Christmas.
It's funny I posted something and then watched the little one star pop up as a friend left. It's no big deal. I thought it was funny. But thanks.

EEEkkk! Went to check on my grow and a grow bag had fell over. Was like that about 4 hours. Didn't break the gal or anything, but she is at a 45 degree angle from turning to the lights.
I sat her back up....will she be ok?
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
It should be OK. I'll never understand, the concept of 'grow bags'....:wtf:...:D

I never used em,but I guess it's a nice concept as far as the bags that come with a pre-mixed medium inside go...No mixing or lugging, just peal open the top and punch out the drainage holes on the bottom and transplant...The camouflage bags are also a nifty idea for outdoor growers...Some of them come with straps so you can hang em in trees,lol...:D
Yes LolaGal,you are correct...
I AM "DAVE THE RAVE"!!!!!! Bow your heads,lol...:hippy:
-
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Well, I am gardening on the cheap. Ya'll are gonna laugh at me when you see em.
I had this FoodSaver thingy given to me and it has these plastic bags, so I thought, hmmm. An 80 mile round trip to civilization to get a pot or use these FoodSaver bags? Its one of them there vacuum sucking thingys.
Live and learn. It was odd though.....I think she hollered at me or something....got a strange urge to go check and see if one was overturned...and damn.
LOLAGAL hears theme from Twilight Zone playing......as she gears up for the trek to civilization to buy 1 gallon pots...

LolaGal giggles madly as she read DTRs post.
That was really the best laugh I had all week. TGIF. :)
I swear, I used those damn things last time and had no problems, then I had this WEIRD feeling, my plant was in distress. So of course I had to take the elevator down to the underground chambers and check. :) It had only been like 4 hours since I checked on them....

No, I haven't heard of those Dutch.
By the way, what time has come? signature....
I need to add potting soil to my grocery list, but living out here in the sticks I will be lucky to find MG.
Anybody got any suggestions? I don't want to order 100 lbs of soil in the mail.

What do ya want to bet it has no negative effect, as every square inch of your growroom contains a barren sign...? (out to lunch)

lol...Rusty doesn't hang with wanna-be ethereal airheads.
Asking for proof, is all part of the Advanced Gardening forum experience. Providing it shows there is validity to your supposition. Devoid of proof, it's just unsubstanciated words coming from ones ass.
And actually, I could care less if anyone else takes my word. Each and every member can and will decide for themselves whether ethereal powers will truly make your garden grow better than using sound techniques. My aim is to help keep the integrity of the forum intact, and dispell rhumors, which is essentially what this "technique" is. An airheaded attempt at relevance. Lacking any validation of you little project, it's just an weak attempt at trying to beat the biology of gardening.
I love the way you rag on me for demanding proof, yet you treat proof as a silly aside, not necessary in the Advanced forums.
I still question your calims of being a masters student. And the fable of you being a scientict at U. Mass, and about the g-13 strain you developed for us lowly med patients,..? Priceless. Bullshit, but priceless. Still sticking to that story, or has it changed with the phases of the moon?
Again...it's not the technique that is bothersome, (at best it's benign) it's your passing it off as fact that is bullshit.

Man I am really upset, as you all know last night was a full moon. I think there was some extra gravitational pull or something as all of my clones where pulled right out of the soil either it was the moon or maybe my cat was messing with me as he enjoys reading this thread also!

No prob Dutch...I thankyou 4 the info...Their air-prune doesn't impress me that much as compared to a regular transplant...This product would be ideal for someone that finds themselves unable to transplant...:hippy:

I have tried to politely to get rid of you, obviously you cannot take a hint.
I am not interested in your opinions Rusty Trichome.
The only post of yours I want to see is your phone number, which I will call as soon as hell freezes over.
