looks fantastic.
wowee she is a beauty!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Ok, so its been over 8 weeks of flowering. GHS says that 8-9 weeks is the normal grow period. I have been checking for amber trichs everyday (i want a little couch-lock), but it still looks like all the trichs are cloudy.
Since the over-fert and subsequent flush, her leaves aren't burning up as much anymore, just a little bit.
Her fan leaves are almost all yellowing, and I think i've taken off almost half of them. They all came off very easily and were about to fall off anyways. I'm saving those to make some space cake!
These will probably be the last pics until I cut her down, which should be within a week. Of course I'll be taking plenty of pictures of the harvest. I have no clue on how much I should yield, but my original goal was to get an ounce of dried bud. If I hadn't been pickin off nugs for the last few weeks I may be harvesting 2 ounces.
Lookin`good fellow Finn..
That must taste good after kinkku..heh heh.:noel:
If you`re into it.
Just thought I would upload my finished Trainwreck pics. It was finished sometime around mid-December, about 8.5 weeks into flowering.
Had some problems, like heavily-nuted soil with no perlite. And I didnt have a pH meter, and I could never close my grow closet (had to keep a 15" axial fan blowing on the plant whenever the HPS was on), and you could smell it outside of my apartment at times.
As for the buds... couldn't be better. The tops have rock-hard, dense nuggets and trichomes flying all over the place when I break this up. Puts you into another world... The taste could be improved upon. Perhaps I didnt flush or cure the bud properly, but I'm not that disappointed. Never heard or saw anyone talk about the taste of Trainwreck, only the effects, and those are there.
Here are the pics of the finished product, after being hung up in the closet for 3 weeks (had to go on vacation, so couldnt really cure the buds like I wanted. Hence, smell/taste suffered)
a couple more pics
Wow dude, very nice yield there. I've gotten back to the forums after being away and your thread caught my eye as I'm finishing up on some K-Train which is original Kush crossed with the Trainwreck you're obviously enjoying right now. What's the smoke and taste like? Again, job well done.
Awesome job BTFinn!!!
Oh wow, Finn. Top shelf.
Just curious but how much yield did you pull in on that bud?!
Thanks for the comments everyone!Quote:

The smoke is not too harsh (I was able to flush out most of the nutes), but it really bites you in the lungs, which is usually followed by a fit of coughing. The full high comes on a few minutes after the first hit, so as soon as I start to feel high, I stop smoking.:stoned:
My friend and I estimated the yield at about 50-60 grams. Not bad for just one plant.Quote:

Beautiful, I like the idea of the the LST. May need to pick your brains more on that.
