i am going to be keeping an eye on this grow log
holy shit! one light!!! i have like 5 right now and am getting only slightly better growth my hat off to you sir
ok so just do I don't for get what day of flower they R on. they R on day 2 of 12-12.
so when do I need to start the counting the start of flowering.
Is it the day I start the 12-12 or the day they show sex?
new pic of them every few days or so.:D
cant hardly wate to see if my harvest every 30 day will work or not.
the plan is looking good so far.
If the 4 coco bagseedlings all end up female then I"ll be so dam happy
I have 4 female clones getting bigger now gunna flower these in just a few weeks.:D
also I have 4 other new clones that I just put under the light to root.
I'll veg the new clones till there big enough to take 4 or so clones. then flower thouse mother clones.
then veg the new clones just like befor. and so on and so on and so on.
so its gunna be where I veg 4-8 clones at a time then once there big enough flower them and have 4-8 more clones vegging.
hope all this makes scents.
it seems like your cloning clones over and over. unless i just misunderstood your not using an original mother for all of them...i think if you clone clones too many generations it will start to have negative effects
Hydro did i read correctly that you are only watering/feeding every few days? Are they in Straight Coco? I was under the impression that since coco is inert, it needs daily feeding?
The plants look awesome, i'm trying to learn...
they R in Straight coco. but they don't seem to need water as often as I was told.
I water/feed once every 2 days.
there looken great still.
(i think if you clone clones too many generations it will start to have negative effects.)
I think as long as they stay alive and healthy it should work.
I guess will all just have to wate and see if it works or not.:D
pix r from tonight.:D
have a good one.
ok sry for inaccurate post upon further checking most ppl agree ,some with first hand knowledge. cloning clones is safe possibly indefinitely it seems i have been living with an old growers myth..sucks as it has made me make some choices that were not for the best, o well.
I use coco but mine is coarsely shredded with big chunks in it. Being that i veg in 1000w mh i have to water 3 times a day at least, till they make a canopy then i get less evaporation. Your finely shredded coco makes me think i need to switch to that till my plants are bigger. If you wouldn't mind telling me what brand you are using that would be nice.
Your plants are looking great.
I think the reasons to feed daily in coco are:
1. everytime you feed the nutrient solution pushes out the old air and then pulls fresh CO2/oxygen into the root zone.
2. The coco has no nutient in it, so it needs to be provided daily.
3. YOUR PLANTS LOOK HEALTHY SO DON"T LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO DO.
whatup hydro, things are looking superb
your coco looks a lot finer so watering every couple days sounds right,, but hey have you had to use calmag yet?
new pix. 10 days of 12-12. but hasn't sexed yet. and I am not in a hurry or anything.
so how R they looking?
very sexy..=) and fyi indoors its the first day u switch it to 12/12...outdoors its whenever the first signs of sex, since you wont be able to tell when the first day is outside
so they R 13 days into 12-12.:D
3 out of 4 seeds R female.:D
also gave them some 4ml cal-mag and some 4ml bloom ferts to 1 gallon of water and the ph is 6.0-6.3
new pix later. need some batteries for the cam.
is that the correct range of pH for coco?Quote:

beauties btw :)
yeah bro that ph is too high, you want 5.8
ok I see. so what should i do now. should I flush them with 5.8 phed water or let the coco dry out just a little first.
they did drink some cal-mag water on the 18th. If that makes any difference in there overall growth.
anyway now I have put 1 of my cheese clones in to the flower cab.:D
tied her down.
so now there is 3 female plants from seed.
and 2 clones in there also. 1 cheese and 2 old ass witch of a clone.:D
then I still have my other cheese clone the bigger one of the 2.
and also I have my hawiian skunk clone. and she is in dwc and she reeks skunk skunk.:D
I wouldn't flush, just keep it at 5.8 from here on out so you don't have any lockouts,, and about the calmag - you said some of your leaves were purpling? that could be a calmag def - so see if you can see a difference in the overall health of the plant since you fed the nute
And as for these plants they R looking ok I guess.
they R on flower week 1.
I guess will see how they turn out.
I also gave a good watering with 1tbs of bloom and 1tbs of cal-mag and got the ph to 5.8-5.9.:D
and one of em is looking kind of weird at the top of her flower.
plant #1
plant #2
plant #3 :wtf: is with the purple in this one.
cheese clone top
cheese clone top.
I hope none of them get root bown in the coco.
dizzam there looking good!
how do you like coco vs other methods?
I love coco compared to soil or peat/soiless based grows. It's idiot proof for the most part so long as you watch out for Ca/Mg issues which you can avoid just by supplementing with a bit of calmag.Quote:

I love the coco so far.:D
anyone know whats up with the purple in that 1 bud.
here R some new pix. how R they looking?
can they they make to harvest?
I think I might have over ferted them a week or 2 ago. yesterday I gave them some water + cal-mag and the ph to 5.8.
I realy hope they can make it all the way to harvest and bud good and wit a lota trich.:D
also can they get rootbound in the coco.
also here is the cheese clone that is also in there.10 day flower.
also I seem to have a leaf problem.:(
nice to see some nice flavors come across the pond. i got some bbc but would love the real deal
you need to post that in the plant problem section and have stinky evaluate it.... not sure what it is. how often are you feeding? how big are the pots?
explain your feeding schedule and Ill try to help
they look underferted to me,, my guess is that your not feeding enough
I have been feeding them every 2 days or so.
for veg I used 5ml botanicare pureblend pro 3-2-4
with 5ml cal-mag.
and for flowering I feed with 5ml cal-mag.
5ml genarel 0-5-4
and lastly make the water and fert mix set to 5.8 ph.
so is that an ok feeding mix?
any thing I should change in the feeding.
also can the plants get rootbound in coco?
in the last 2 pix u can see the size of pots I am useing.can they get rootbound in this size.
is the bloom fert pure blend? only give calmag once in a while, you don't need it when you are ferting them.. they look like they are hungry for N, and the bloom nute has none, try switching to pure blend i had great results
oh and no they won't get rootbound in those pots for sure
I don't know if the 3 bagseeds R doing any better. or if they R even gunna make it to the end of there flowering cycle.
as for the cheese clone, well she is doing good.
All of these R 2 week into flowering.
what did I do wrong. can they make it?
now pix of the cheese clone #2.
so how does she look?
anyone? :( where did everyone go.

and I hope that greenatik is right in that my plants won't get root bound in the coco and in thouse small planters.
cuz there in all the coco I bought. and I don't have the extra room to put them into bigger planters.
they look a lil sad but still good overall!
I think maybe after I perfect DWC, I will attempt coco :D
Well.. you can still get rootbound in coco.. it's just WAY more forgiving than in soil. Keep on top of your watering and make sure to always water to about 15% runoff all the time.Quote:

they r all 3 weeks and 2 days into flower.
I dono y there looking so bad.:(
so yesterday I gave them 7L of 5.8 ph water with 1 tbs of bloom nuts.
and the day befor that I gave them 1 1/2 tbs of veg ferts. to try and help bring back new green color in them.
stinky if ya out there I could use some help with coco.
