Plants look great man. The ridges is a trait of blueberry. Lots of Blue strains do it. Leaf curling is another common blueberry trait, even showed on a few of my smashberrys. The browning looks like lockout to me...Ph a lil high?

I dont really see how the growing method could have anything to do with shaping of leaves.Quote:

maybe some curl easier to pH fluctuations? (genetically)

OK so after getting back in last night my DWC was pretty damn low on water
and I had a 2 liter filled with solution that I had pulled out with and replaced with plain water 4 days ago, I put that back into the DWC along with another 2 liter with one droplet of superthrive and some hydroguard as the water was starting to smell a little funky
anyways heres some pictures
they sure grew a lot in 4 days!
There is minor browning going on only on maybe 2-3 leave finger tips
anyone have any idea what that is from?
added another droplet of Super Thrive and 10ml of Calmag to 2L and added it to the DWC and a 2L of plain water
I will flush the system soon and start with half and half Bloom/Veg nutes
or should I just start bloom nutes?
Probably raise the light just a little bit, its about 12 inches from the light now
I'd like to point out that one plant seems to be doing some stretching while the other is short and bushy (from the same seed batch)
I can't conclude whether it's genetic or what
after looking at the top-down view, I noticed it seemed a little yellower than normal so I raised the light in case it was too close and decided to check on the pH which was below 5.5 so I added some pH Up and 15ml of Pro Grow
Lookin good revanche! Good call on the light...Is that burn spot the only one on that plant?

I don't think its a burn spot as its on the lower leafQuote:

I'm a very hazzardous grower ain't I? lol
electrical stuff all over the floor next to the DWC lol
Ok I think im a little too post happy but I'm just so excited about my babies
I checked inside the DWC system to see the roots and these are the healthiest roots I've ever seen!
Adding an extra air pump helped A LOT!
Then I switched the positions of the plants to change up the lighting for them as the one in the corner seems to be getting less light?
Hey i checked out your last grow log and thought it was sweet so i just wanted to let you know i'll be following this one as well! Plants are looking sweet! Best of luck!
sweet! thx! I love it when ppl subscribe :)Quote:

If you're worried about light, you can trim off some of the larger fan leaves to allow more light penetration. Just do it sparingly and only as much as you absolutely need to. Those fan leaves make food for your plant, and if you rip too many off, your plant will get hungry.
Thanks! Actually I think the one that is lanky is probably because it wasn't directly under the light, and I was thinking about FIM'ing it but now I think its too late since its beginning to flowerQuote:

Not really. Some strains are just slower than others. It's been a while, but if I remember right, the first time I grew this Forbidden Fruit that I've got going it took almost 3 weeks before I saw preflowers on some of the plants. And one of the plants never did flower. I chopped it during the fourth week of 12/12. Figured it was probably defective anyway, and I needed the extra room for my other plants.
My plant is about 30 days old now under 12/12 I hope it starts budding soon, they are getting too big for my liking lol
looken great there. cant wate to see em flowering.
I think starting them directly 12/12 from seed might inhibit their response time to switch to flowering mode as they are use to the time scheduleQuote:

orrrrrrrrr
its just genetic.
Dumped the 8 day old stuff
New batch of water:
10Liters = 2.6 Gallons
15ml Calmag
20ml Liquid Karma
15ml Hydroguard
15ml ProGrow
10ml ProBloom
These numbers are all below recommended dosing (cuz im still a n00b )
Hey Rev,
Lookin good! They will start showing overnight sometime within the next month...Hell mine are still going, start of 11 weeks since flower!! My lady left me without the camera though so I been high and depressed...LOL, well not really..
Thats the thing about 12/12 you never know what they are going to do. I like it but I think with 30 days of 18/6, and lst you can produce alot more under that 600 watt. In actually a shorter period of time. Anyhow, best of growing! Lata
hey rev , I just got done with your log looking good I also agree with ya that PH was causing minor problems as I have seen & heard lots about PH and wrinkling/crinkling in threads on this forum looks that your adjustment has worked I was also noticing that early on in the pics you posted about the ridges that your plants appeared too be droopy, and most of the time droopy is from overwatering, I was going too tell you, then I realized you were using DWC which I know even less about and didn't know what too recomend too fix it, but you already figured that out and fixed it by adding a extra air pump, your pretty good for a noob.. lol i am a noobi boobi noobi too
I have Jorge indoor/outdoor book its pretty good learned alot from it
just a word of caution before you use any of my advice or anybody else's cross check it thru other sources first.
I learned this the hardway,it sucked! have a great day and a great grow, nice style
Thanks :)Quote:

I mean the nodal growth has changed to flowering and I can tell the tops are beginning to form into buds but it just took so darn long! I wasn't sure what was going on (possible too much light leaks?) Other members of the household wasn't aware that it can't have any light on the plants when the big HID was off @__@Quote:

rev defiantely light leaks are a major issue fix them ASAP! no light leaks
pssst I was looking in the indoor/outdoor bible and stumbled on this;
"Big ridges between veins along with curled leaf fringes signify temperature strees coupled with salt buildup"
also;
"Leaf fringe standing up - Leaf fringes that point up mean the leaf is trying to dissapate as much moisture as possible, but it is unable to. This could be caused by toxic salt buildup, lack of water, or heat stress"
that might be the deepened ridges, might not have a good day;)
yea thats what I figured and solved the problem already but thx :)Quote:

they sure do drink a lot of water!
they look great. keep up the great work.
6 L of water + 20 ml Pro Blend Bloom
2L of water + 5ml Calmag + 15ml Botanicare Sweet
why are they not in full flower yet!?:wtf:
The leaves look clearly Sativa but its such a short bushy plant!
lol i really need to stop posting 3 posts per post and just get it all down in one but I suppose its my own thread so ya...
added 2 more L with a drop of superthrive
its becoming difficult to even add water to the DWC
