He voted for separating Iraq by the muslim religions which would have benfeited Iran because Shiite muslims would have dominated Iraq and Iran isthe only nation with an overwhelming majority of Shiites. Joe Biden grew up in delaware with segregation until 1963. And even though I cant say he is racist, he does not advance the human race by asking to unroot families and segregate them in Iraq. Jus wait till the debates
Very nicely put.Quote:

I wholeheartedly support Obama/Biden.
McCain is a bumbling idiot in my eyes, and Palin doesn't deserve to be a cabinet member, let alone 2nd in line for president.
Yeah, Obama's inexperienced but he listens to the people, at least. He listens to advisors, too.
So between my love for Obama and my fear of McCain/Palin...yeah.
OBAMA!!! McCain is bush all over again are you serious?? obama isn't the best choice for our next president but McCain wants to continue gorge bushes economic policies....... :pimp:
If by economic policies you mean Tax cuts.. then yes he does, and so does Obama :thumbsup:Quote:

Everybody in this forum should vote for Obama! At least he is ok with MMJ in all states while McCain is not and never will be he said.

McCain is too right wing for me, or should I say uptight? lol

McCain/Palin because I'm pretty sure OBAMA is a socialist... He wants to take our guns away and punish success with wealth redistribution.... SOCIALISM!!! Nothing kills an economy like socialistic policies... (Russia anyone...China, before capitalism)
Like I care if MJ is legal, I don't need to light up in public... The war on drugs is standing on it's last legs anyway... Mexico just passed a bill legalizing MJ Coke and most other drugs in "personal" amounts....(still to be signed into law by Mexico's prez) If it ends up being a smart decision maybe the US will kill the War on Drugs....Legalization will happen soon enough...
In the meantime, We don't need a racist socialist dictating policy handed down to him by the likes of George Soros and William Ayers... just to name a couple. If you think your freedoms are being chipped away now...Look to China to see what socialism/communism will do for ya. Personally if Obama is elected I'm going out and stocking up on Ammo... might be my last chance.
Just curious what you call the bailout? Capitalism or Free Enterprise?Quote:

why do we seek a better prison rather than outright freedom???

Funny is it not, how we all agree that a better system is needed, a system that meets the needs of the individuals of the society, and not just the finances, and yet we're still working our asses off to support this flawed system, we work harder to, indirectly or not, promote an ineffective system rater than working together, addressing our actual needs, and doing something about it, regardless of money or politics!
it's that simple, yet why arent we doing that?!
Americas got problems with the money system dah

CHANGE IS GOOD
Despite my support for Obama, lets be realistic, Politics is perhaps the strongest evil in the world that can turn a virgin Merry to the sneakiest/meanest charlatan, change could be really useful right now, lets just hope a politician can actually stick with and carry his promises. again thats why I rather leave my emotions behind the door, Obama is a human and a politician and can very well fail like any other failed promise, depending on too many factors in n out of his control.Quote:

1. Change could be good and a good one is NEEDED right now, i doubt anyone from either of the sides can dispute that we are in dire need of some drastic change in our system, economics and policies. unless u r carrying a sticker on your bumper that not just says u supports the troops (this is the OK part to me), but also says we support our president*... thats a dumb loyalist to me
2. Let's hope he remains who he is now
*believe it or not, I saw one shiny (brand new looking) sticker of this kind on back of a Ford Excursion with an old white guy in it just yesterday, wonder what idiot will so proudly support this president at such a time when hardly anyone really talks about the guy in a supportive manner, not even his old friends and his party... that just speaks to their wisdom if they got such a thing at all!
My name is silkyblu and
I approve your post flying
Legalise the plant too
Mccain all day. that rebgirl on the first page made my night sayin anyone but obama im with you. GO RALPH NADER but reality always wins so lets go McCain. Man look at where they stand please dont vote off hype.
I finally decided.
It's gonna be Obama. Initially I was leaning towards John McCain, but as the campaign kept going, it kept getting increasing negative and it seems the presidency to him is more in self-interest than the greater good of country.
I am not fond of Obama at all. Perhaps this vote I cast I will regret, but there is 1 reason why Obama has my vote.
1. Willingness to listen. Barack Obama is more inclined to listen to different points of views and accept those opinions as valid in order to make a decision. A man that can listen is a man more adaptable to oversee change. A man who is willing to sit down use diplomacy, even with our enemies is a man that can oversee change. I do not want another 8 years of one Bush with a bunch of yes men. Let's have a diverse administration for once.
[quote=thcbongman]I finally decided.
Is it negativity or is he bringing to light things that the media is choosing to ignore. The same media that will opt to report on something as irrelevant as Sarah Palin's Wardrobe. There are many questionable associations on Obama's side; none of which that have been thoroughly or clearly explained.Quote:

I suppose know what a person is like outside of a campaign is not important?
Everything else that everyone says is negative I view as being information that should be investigated.
Obama hasn't had to run a negative campaign because the media has been doing all the negative attacks on their own. Must be nice to have an attack dog on your side (Obama).
Well a person can say whatever they want. Look at his time in the senate instead. Has Obama even attempted to do much of what he's saying? Does he have a history to suggest that he's a person that's open to listening (he's voted alongside party majority leaders 100% of the time). To me that doesn't sound like he's listening to anything except what his party has to say.Quote:

I don't know. Obviously you're free to vote for who you choose but Obama seems to be the exact opposite of what he claims he is or what he's going to do.
McCain is not really who I want either; but at least I have some history to go on and some of that history I do agree with.
[quote=daihashi]I agree with you. I don't think the media has been very fair to McCain. However, McCain's campaigning style hurt him some along with the media's love affair for Obama. The RNC used the same playbook as the 2000 and 2004 campaign to heavily attacks opponents on character weaknesses rather than highlight the positives of what he can accomplish.Quote:

These associations should be considered, but I don't think they are substanciated enough. Much of it is a few facts that are heavily theorized to show Obama's views are Anti-American. Until I see something factual, like Obama partaking in a marxist gathering or there was fact that Obama was engaging in treasonous crimes, I simply can't put much weight on these associations.
As far as Obama's willingness to listen, in the sense of his voting record, McCain is more proven to cross party lines while Obama record shown he's not. Obama clearly talks more than walks. However the fundamental aspect is usage of diplomacy. Obama's willingness to open diplomatic channels will earn more respect with the world and will help America better understand the conflicts we are getting into. McCain views diplomacy as a concession rather than necessary. In addition, McCain is a guy who wants less oversight and accountability when it comes to government affairs. This isn't to say Obama isn't transparent because I think he has an agenda as well, but McCain's is clear. The military-industrial complex needs to be reduced and McCain's policy will continue to increase spending to defense when we have bigger fish to fry.
I don't think Obama will follow through on many of his promises and that he'll be ultra liberal. I think Obama's policies will impend the ability of corporations to grow and he will not reduce government spending. I'm just hoping republicans take some seats in both the house and senate to balance it out. It's due to the sensitivity of an impending financial crisis which will require America to cooperate and engage the world, we need someone who's willing to take this role, and that'll be Obama. If I had to choose between these two devils, I'll choose Barack Obama.
Finally after much internal debate and turmoil, I have decided to vote for Chuck Baldwin.
Dr. Paul's recent endorsement is enough to sway me away from playing keep away from McCain (going the lesser of two evils route).
I live in NY and predict an Obama landslide here! Which is Ok because McCain loses and the war ends soon (maybe). Not OK because more of the same old tax and spend government with Obama.
I am voting for Liberty,Freedom and the Constitution!
Chuck Baldwin
